Chapter 217 Chapter Two Hundred and Seventeen
I laugh, throwing my hands up in defeat. "Fine, let's see if you guys are any better." I say, walking over to the couch and attempting to sit down in this fluffy dress.
"Oh trust me. We will be." Calvin says playfully, winking at me. I expected them to disagree, try to tell me I'm not that bad at this, but I was wrong and it honestly makes me happy to know they won't lie to me.
I sit there waiting for them to make their decisions. I can hear them arguing with each other and I can't help but laugh. They are almost more excited about this dress shopping thing than I am. I'm glad I brought them with me today. A few minutes later they walk back over to me. Each one is holding a dress.
"We each picked out a dress for you to try on." Logan says, smiling at me.
"Just one?" I ask, smiling at him.
"Yep, we each think we found you 'The One.' So, we made a bet." Logan says, putting extra emphasis on 'the one'.
I start laughing. "You guys bet on me finding a wedding dress?" I ask, not surprised one bit that they bet each other.
They all smile proudly. "Yep, we did and I know my dress is going to win." Brandon says.
"Only in your dreams." Harrison says, rolling his eyes.
I laugh. "You guys are ridiculous. What happens if none of these dresses turn out to be the one? Do I win the bet?" I ask.
They all look at each other like they hadn't even considered me not picking one of their dresses. "I guess if you don't pick one, then sure you can win, but I don't see that happening." Calvin says.
"What makes you so confident?" I ask, quirking an eyebrow at him.
"I know you are going to love my dress." He says it like he already won and I smile.
"We will see about that." I say.
The guys hand Marlene the dresses and the two of us walk back to the fitting room. "Which one of them is your fiancé?" Marlene asks, as she helps me out of my dress.
"Oh, none of them actually. They are just my bridesmaids and maid of honor. Well, they are calling themselves my bridesmen." I say, smiling at her.
Marlene smiles. "I love that. They seem like they really love you."
"They do! They are my best friends, I love them so much." I say, as I step into the dress Brandon picked for me. "I hope it's okay that I brought them with me today. I know it's not the typical bridal party, but they are all I have."
Marlene shakes her head, smiling. "Of course it's okay. This day is all about you, I want you to be comfortable. They all seem great and they have very good taste in dresses." She says, looking at the dresses they picked.
"Yeah, better than mine." I say, laughing.
Marlene laughs. "Sometimes we just need a little extra help."
I take a look in the mirror. The dress he picked is gorgeous, it's a little poofy at the bottom, but the top is almost a corset style. It's kind of stretchy, but I don't know if it will stretch enough for my baby, once my stomach is bigger. I do love it though.
I make my way out to where the guys are waiting. They all smile, looking at me like I'm the most beautiful person they have ever seen before. "Oh my God! You look gorgeous Lilly." Logan says.
The other guys nod their heads in agreement. "You really do." Brandon says.
I smile and do a quick spin for them. "Thank you guys." I say, looking down at myself. That was the kind of reaction I was hoping for.
I try on Harrison's choice next. It's very different than Brandon's choice. It reminds me of something you would wear for a beach wedding. It's very pretty though and it definitely shows off my stomach area. I'm not even big yet.
The guys seem like they like this dress almost as much as the last one I put on. I try Calvin's choice on next. It's a long, flowy dress with a thin belt that makes me look curvy. The straps are pure rhinestones and it's what I think is called a sweetheart neckline. It's so beautiful.
Calvin audibly gasps when he sees me, covering his mouth with his hands. "You look perfect." Calvin says, looking me up and down once he drops his hands from his face.
The other guys all nod their heads agreeing with him. I spin around a couple of times, smiling. I normally don't like being the center of attention like this, but I'm loving it today.
Logan's dress choice is next. "Looks like she saved the best for last." Logan says, smirking.
I smile. "They have all been great." I say. "I'm going to go change real quick."
Logan's dress is really similar to Calvin's. This one is long sleeve, with a thicker belt and a slit that goes almost all the way up the leg on one side though.
Logan smiles from ear to ear when he sees me in his dress choice. "You look like a model." Logan says, standing up and walking around me.
I blush, laughing a little. "I don't know about that, but I do like this dress." I say, smiling.
"So, are any of these four dresses 'the one'?" Brandon asks.
I love all four dresses. It's going to be hard to choose, but I think I know which one I'm going with. "Yes, I think so." I say, smiling.
"Well, which one did you pick?" Logan asks, smiling like he already won the bet.
