Chapter 216 Chapter Two Hundred and Sixteen
Chapter 216 Chapter Two Hundred and Sixteen
I laugh, shaking my head. "Fine. I guess I won't bug you about it."
Logan glances over at me and smiles. "Good, I'm glad you aren't arguing with me. I probably would have gave in, then I would have gotten myself in trouble."
"Damn, I gave up to soon." I say, faking disappointment.
Logan and the other guys laugh. "Yep, but it's to late now." Logan says.
I laugh. It's nice being able to joke around and hang out with them, without having to worry about Reece, Raikin and Ryder getting mad or upset. I mean I would give my friends up in a heartbeat if they asked me too, but I'm glad they aren't asking me to.
The ride to the first dress shop feels like it takes forever, probably because I am so nervous. I don't know why I am nervous, it's just shopping for a dress. It shouldn't be that hard to find one, right?
"Okay, we are here." Logan says, as he parks outside a small store that is painted pink.
"Oh my goodness, the building is so cute. I love this place already!" I tell him, excitedly.
Logan smiles. "I'm glad you like it. Hopefully you like the dresses as much as you like the building."
I laugh. "I don't know, the building is going to be hard to beat." I say, teasingly.
Logan chuckles and gets out of the car, coming around to my side. "Let's go check it out." He says, as the other guys get out and stretch a little.
When we walk in the store we are immediately greeted by a middle age woman with long black hair and dark brown eyes. "Welcome, I'm Marlene. Are we looking for a dress today?"
I nod my head. "Yes, I am."
Marlene gives me a friendly smile. "Wonderful, do you have a style of dress in mind or would you like some time to browse?"
"I honestly have no clue what I am looking for."
Marlene laughs softly. "I hear that more often you would think. That's no problem at all. How about you guys look around a little and if you need any assistance you just let me know."
"That sounds great. Thank you so much!" I say, smiling.
We start browsing, the guys mostly just let me look. When I find a few dresses to try on they sit down in the waiting area where there are a few chairs and a couch. Marlene helps me with the first dress. It's a long, looks fitting dress with an off white, almost cream color.
I make my way to the waiting area where the guys are sitting and they all make a face. Not the kind of face you want to see when you are wearing a wedding dress either.
"Absolutely not." Calvin says, pointing to the fitting room. "Next one."
"Is it really that bad?" I ask, laughing a little.
"It looks like you are being swallowed by a damn parachute, now go try on the next one." Calvin says.
I laugh, shaking my head. "Fine, I will be right back."
I go back to the dressing room and Marlene helps me with my next choice. This one is a little more fitted, strapless and a bright white color with little sequins.
I go out there and they all make the same face as before. "What's wrong with this one?" I ask, looking down at myself.
"You shouldn't do strapless. That is just a disaster waiting to happen and this one is still a little to loose. You should be flaunting your body, not trying to hide it." Brandon says.
"He's right." Logan adds.
"By time the wedding rolls around my stomach is going to be huge. I don't want to flaunt that." I say, looking between the four of them.
"You would be beautiful even if your stomach was the size of a house. Don't be ashamed of your body Lilly. You are perfect." Calvin says, smiling reassuringly at me.
"Plus, you are pregnant. It's not like you are just gaining weight. You are going to have a beautiful, perfect, pregnant belly. Don't you want to be able to tell your son or daughter they were at your wedding?" Harrison asks.
I think about it for a minute and nod my head. "Yeah, I guess that would be pretty cool." I say, smiling.
"Well, you can only do that if you aren't hiding your belly." Logan adds.
I sigh. "I hate when you guys make good points." I say, teasingly playfully. "I will go try on my next one."
"Good. We will be waiting." Brandon says.
I make my way back to the fitting room. Marlene helps me out of the dress and into my next one. This one has lacey long sleeves, a belt thing and it's fluffs out at the bottom. It is bright white and there are little sequins all over the belt. I feel kind of like I'm wearing a really fluffy ball gown, but it's pretty. I think the guys are going to like this one.
I make my way out to where they are sitting. I smile confidently when I step in front of them. Each of their reactions are so different I have to bite my tongue to keep from laughing.
Logan is staring at me with furrowed brows and his mouth slightly open, like there's a question he wants to ask, but he doesn't know what to say. Calvin is looking at me with eyes so wide they look like they are going to explode out of his head. Brandon is just shaking his head and Harrison looks like he is trying as hard as I am not to laugh right now.
"What's wrong with this one?" I ask, smiling and twirling around a couple of times.
They are stare at me, not saying anything. Calvin opens and closes his mouth a couple of times, but doesn't say anything. Logan stands up and walks over to me, he grabs my shoulders and looks into my eyes. "This thing is awful." He says, smiling at me.
I burst out laughing. "It's not that bad." I say, between the laughter.
"Yes, yes it is." Calvin says, walking over to me.
Brandon and Harrison walk over too, walking around me, looking at the dress like they are deciding whether it's worth buying or not. According to their faces, it's definitely not.
"Fine." I say, laughing. "Let me go try on my next choice."
Brandon stops in front of me and shakes his head. "Based on what we have seen so far, I don't think I want to see your next choice." He says, teasingly.
I gasp, trying to look offended, but I just end up laughing. "I know, I'm terrible at this."
"Yes, you are." Logan says, laughing.
"Yep, you just need to set your sexy ass down right here and we will go find you some dresses to try on." Brandon says.
"You have officially lost your dress choosing privileges" Harrison says.
