Kira welcomed Aneska at the dining table with Alendra who was having breakfast. The man looked charming and dashing in a gray office suit. Kira is always perfect in preparing everything. There was a little jealousy in Aneska's heart for no reason.
"I went to your room last night, but you were sleeping," said Kira between breakfast. "You didn't forget dinner, right, Aneska?"
"At first I was too tired so I fell asleep. But I'm having dinner, Mother doesn't need to worry," said Aneska.
"Thank God I'm relieved to hear that," sighed Kira while looking at Aneska who chose to sit next to Edwin facing Kira. “Next time, I beg you, eat before bed. I don't want my beloved daughter-in-law to get sick, what about my future grandchildren?"
Kira's words made Aneska choke and then cough.
"Oh!" Kira panicked and immediately gave the girl a glass of water. "I'm sorry for talking too much," said Kira after Aneska had calmed down.
"Oh, it is okay. "I'm just a little surprised," Aneska admitted, her face flushed with embarrassment.
Kira sighed again.
“Just finish breakfast, Kira. After that, you can freely talk to Aneska without straining her again," said Alendra in response to Kira's attitude.
“Oh yeah, right. I will remember, but I can't promise," said Kira, smiling at her husband.
"It's up to you," said Alendra, resigned to Kira's attitude.
Aneska glanced at Edwin who was still silent. What the man did firmly proved Aneska's suspicions. Even though Edwin was in a good mood, when he was with Alendra or his father, Edwin's expression remained cold and flat. Maybe it depends on the people you meet or is it specifically because of Alendra?
"Aneska, when you're finished, stay here for a moment," said Kira.
"Oh, of course," answered Aneska quickly.
It looks like Edwin will come home in the afternoon so it doesn't matter if Aneska stays at home, and Alendra won't be at home either. Aneska didn't know how the father and son worked, in the same company building, or not. Or maybe it's under the same company? Aneska doesn't know much about Edwin, and maybe now there's a chance to find out from Kira.
"I've finished breakfast," said Edwin a few moments later.
Aneska glanced at the man.
"I'm leaving now, see you later Aneska," said the man saying goodbye to Aneska who remained silent.
The girl nodded quickly then, but then hurried to follow Edwin's steps towards the yard where his car was.
"You don't need to accompany me," said Edwin to Aneska who was following behind.
"No. I want to," answered Aneska.
Edwin briefly tugged at the corners of his lips.
“You'll be here for a while?” Edwin asked again.
"Maybe. Besides, I couldn't do anything in that house, it was too neat, not even dusty," said Aneska, remembering Edwin's house, which was always quiet.
Edwin did not respond and continued walking in front of Aneska, who still followed him until he reached Edwin's car.
"I will go now."
Aneska's head nodded quickly like a doll.
The man got into the car, put on his seat belt, and prepared to leave, but his face looked up, looking out the car window with the glass down and then back at Aneska.
“You need anything? I can bring it when I get home,” said Edwin.
Aneska was silent for a moment.
“Hm. Does not seem. But, I need a wound cleaner just in case because the one I have is almost gone," explained Aneska.
“Wound cleaner?” Edwin seemed to note it down in memory then nodded.
This object is important for cleaning Edwin's wounds. Aneska might just be a precaution, but for Edwin, who knows better when he will get hurt again, medicine is important.
"Okay, I'll see you again."
Aneska nodded and took a step back to invite Edwin into the office. Still there as Edwin's car left the high gate, Aneska looked around at the front yard which the girl had never explored.
Kira's voice made Aneska turn around. Alendra was ready to go to work. A new BMW Max3 car that Aneska knew was black stopped near them. A man sits behind the wheel. The car belonged to Alendra who would take him to work.
"See you later, Aneska," Alendra said goodbye.
The girl answered with a polite nod of her head.
Alendra got into the car, sat quietly in the back seat, and soon the car drove away, leaving Kira with Aneska who watched the car leave.
"Come on in," said Kira.
However, Aneska's attention was still focused on the large front yard of the house.
“Would you like to take a walk in the park?” Kira offered Aneska as if she knew what the girl was thinking.
"Oh," Aneska looked a little surprised by Kira's offer.
“You don't need to be so surprised. Come on, I'll accompany you," said Kira, holding out his hand for Aneska to follow.
Aneska complied, took Kira's hand, and held it tightly, then they walked towards the front garden of the house which was quite beautiful and spacious. A paved road that can accommodate three cars stretches out, creating a distance between the terrace and the green grassy area bordered by granite stone reliefs.
The large classic-modern style house looks cute with a garden full of flowers. From Kira's personality, it seems like the woman likes plants.
"It's so beautiful," Aneska muttered spontaneously as she entered a beautiful artificial garden with blooming flowers.
Kira smiled at that.
"Since you are here now, part of the Zeelar family, you can take a stroll here," said Kira giving Aneska freedom.
"May I?" Aneska confirmed with her eyes sparkling with joy.
"Of course you can." Kira smiled even wider, as if ready to pamper Aneska at any time.
The two of them were like daughter and mother, walking together on the garden path with butterflies fluttering around the blooming flowers. Aneska was amazed by the care of the plants.
Around the big house, there were several guards on guard. Aneska was not surprised by the large number of guards, and it was stricter compared to Edwin's house where there were only occasional guards. Aneska doesn't know the reason, but Edwin's house feels peaceful when there are no guards.
"Come here, come sit here," said Kira, pulling Aneska's hand to sit on one of the chairs under the big, shady tree.
The place is cool with a beautiful view in front. From where they sat, Aneska could see the corner of the large house with large pillars and classic windows, as well as the backyard with green grass. In her heart, Aneska asked whether that place was real. Why is it like in a fairy tale or on television? It was so beautiful, Aneska couldn't describe it more specifically. But it's all like a fantasy story.
"Aneska, is Edwin okay?" Kira suddenly asked while Aneska was still fascinated by the view in front of her.
Of course, hearing what Kira asked made Aneska turn towards the woman and stare silently, asking with both eyes the meaning of the question even though Kira was already looking at Edwin earlier.
Or could Kira know something?
Aneska's eyes widened when she came to that conclusion. How could it be?
