Chapter 52
The other person broke out in a cold sweat and brainstormed, “Hos about this, Ms. Gregg, we’ll get someone on stage right now to guide things, and say you’re not a professional singer, but you still got thes result in the first round. That’ll really highlight the contrast, and you’l totally outshine the other side!”
Roxanne finally nodded, but her eyes were still fierce
The other person wiped their cold sweat and let out a sigh of relief
But Roxanne still wasn’t satisfied. She watched the other person take out a tablet and message the relevant people. She said, “Kenneth, your team was brought up by me. You know what I did during this time. and you also know what you all did for me.”
The man named Kenneth Watson started sweating again. He gave a nervous smile and said, “Back then I was just a nobody promoter. It’s only because I worked with you, Ms. Gregg, that I got to where I am today.”
“Ms. Gregg, don’t worry, I knew everything. We helped each other Only by helping you, Ms. Gregg, get promoted to Mrs. Humphrey could our team get the most benefit.”
“You know it, that’s good.” Roxanne finally nodded. She looked over at the live stage where the show was still going on, and started thinking.
This woman in the mask called “Serena” was not to be underestimated. and she was Jeremiah’s canary, so we couldn’t go at her head–on.
Well, just use her.

Hands weren’t as sharp as a knife, so there was no need to go head–to- head with a knife. The right way was to grab the handle and make it work for you.
Thinking of this, Roxanne smiled a little, “Hasn’t the handle of the knife ‘Serena‘ already been in her hand for a long time?”
As long as they still wanted to stay in the circle, their abortion secret was a perfect handle.
At least during “The Ethereal Voice” competition, this totally nailed the opponent.
Otherwise, once this scandal got out, their approval rating would drop a lot, and their future business value would be totally ruined.
It was basically ruined.
After threats, there were also bribes.
And bribery…
Roxanne smiled with satisfaction and helped “Serena” take down Stephanie to become Jeremiah’s official girlfriend. That was her biggest incentive.
After she thought it through, Roxanne, who had been a bit nervous just now, relaxed.
She looked over at Kenneth, who was taking action, and reminded him, “I have to be the MVP today.”
Kenneth looked up, not sure why Roxanne was reminding him again.
Noticing Kenneth’s confusion, she added, “And then, about that woman’s marketing, I had another idea.”

As she spoke, Roxanne leaned in close to Kenneth’s ear and whispered something.
Kenneth nodded thoughtfully, and the two of them looked at each other and smiled.

On the other side, in Stephanie’s private dressing room, Jeremiah already went to take care of other things, and the assistant Katrina stayed here to look after Stephanie.
Katrina was holding her phone, looking at stuff online, and the more she looked, the more she frowned.
“Strange,” Katrina muttered.
Stephanie rested for a while and felt a bit better, so she asked her. “What happened?”
Katrina handed the tablet to Stephanie and said. “Serena, I was looking at the data online. People online were all talking about which one is better, ‘A Glimmer of Love‘ or ‘Yesterday Once More.“”
“But the weird thing was right here.”
Katrina pulled up the relevant page and said, “Why did the stream quality look like this?”
Stephanie took a look, then thought for a bit and got it.
This kind of thing was pretty common in the industry.
It’s just, she was the main star of Conway Entertainment, and Jeremiah wasn’t a pushover either. His bad temper was well–known in the industry.

Generally speaking, nobody treated her like that.
I didn’t mess with Jeremiah on purpose, either.
Unless it could beat Jeremiah, like Maxwell.
So, the only person who could make the crew do this was just one
person.
Roxanne.
Stephanie scrolled through online reviews about “A Glimmer of Love” and “Yesterday Once More.”
She thought it was kind of funny.
Two best performances?
Battle with songs she wrote versus songs she sang?
Stephanie chuckled and put the tablet down.
Katrina carefully took back the tablet. She wanted to watch Serena’s expression, but all of Serena’s feelings were hidden under the mask, and Katrina couldn’t figure them out.
Katrina thought for a while before she said, “Serena, should we tell Mr. Conway? Let Mr. Conway handle it.”
Stephanie shook her head. With how impatient Jeremiah was, he should’ve already known
Back then, who knew what crap they were holding in.
Thinking about it, Stephanie gave Jeremiah a call.
