Chapter 293
Edgar rushed into Maxwell’s office right away.
“Mr. Humphrey, Ms. Gregg started the livestream.” Edgar got a little flustered and said anxiously, “This wasn’t in our plan, Mr. Humphrey, what is Ms. Gregg trying to do?”
Maxwell frowned and called Roxanne right away.
But the other side didn’t pick up, just kept streaming..
Almost nobody expected Roxanne to start streaming.
Stephanie, Jeremiah, Lennon, and the others were all there.
Everyone’s eyes turned to Roxanne’s livestream.
I just saw Roxanne in the livestream with red eyes, looking really pitiful.
She looked at the camera and said softly, “I didn’t expect the gossip between Max, me, and Stephanie would make the Humphrey Group’s market value fluctuate so much.”
“This wasn’t what I meant.” Roxanne wiped her eyes and said, “I just saw the stock price, and after thinking about it, I decided to come and explain things.”
Maxwell looked over at Edgar: “Find her, make her stop!”
Edgar went to do it right away.

up some things.
They made countless backup plans and had a whole set of plans,
They were the top of the three big bosses in Haraville. The company had a lot of talented people. There was no way they would just sit and wait to die. There was no way they didn’t have any solutions.
Roxanne didn’t take part in their plan, and going live now could easily backfire.
On the other side, Stephanie watched Roxanne’s stream. She blinked and felt a bit confused.
“Maxwell, after I left the Humphrey Group, your solution turned into having Roxanne go live and play the victim?”
Even if my skills dropped, they couldn’t have dropped this much, right?
It left Stephanie totally confused.
But she still chose to keep watching.
I just saw that, in the livestream, Roxanne finally calmed herself down and went on, “Everyone knows I don’t have much time left.”
“So actually, no matter what happened between Max and me, it wouldn’t really hurt Max’s marriage much.”
She gave a sad smile, “Anyway, I didn’t have many days left to live.”
“Well, since everyone cared so much about this gossip, I’ll just make it clear to you all today.”
“There was nothing dirty between Max and me like what you guys thought.”

“Everything, it was me…”
She sobbed and went on, “I told Max I was dying, but I really liked him. I asked him if he could spend half a year with me, just to keep me company and do what I wanted, even if we weren’t together.”
“At first, he didn’t agree. He told me many times that he and Stephanie had a deep relationship, and he didn’t want to betray his marriage.”
“Later, I really was about to die, and… before that, I did him a favor, so that’s why things turned out like this today.”
“He divorced Stephanie because he didn’t want her to think he was cheating on her.”
“Actually, he didn’t really have much feeling for me.”
“After I left this world, maybe they would get back together, I wasn’t sure. I started today’s livestream myself, he didn’t know.”
“I didn’t really want to come out and explain all this. After all, I only had five months left. But when I saw the Humphrey Group’s stock price fluctuate because of this, I felt really guilty… cough cough…”
Roxanne was coughing in the shot, and when she wiped with a tissue, everyone noticed the blood on her tissue.
