“What should I do?” Tears fell from her eyes. “I didn’t know Serena was her. Now that I think back to the last few episodes, I feel… guilty
Her tears just seemed like they would never stop.
She cried miserably and said in a broken voice:
“You know, I didn’t want to hurt her, but now things turned out like this… Max. tell me, what should I do so she could forgive me?”
Maxwell looked at Roxanne.
He didn’t know how to answer.
“Buzz buzz buzz…”
Maxwell’s phone was still vibrating, and Leonard’s call was still coming in.
Roxanne’s eyes also moved to Maxwell’s phone.
Looking at his phone, she kept crying and said, “Will you take her home? Max, will you leave me?”
At the same time, on the other side, in Stephanie’s private lounge.
Stephanie saw it in the small group.
There was another new saying online-
“You had to look at the original intention when doing things. Roxanne went to the charity dinner because she really wanted to raise awareness for sick kids, but Stephanie just wanted to compete with Roxanne for

stuff.”
As soon as she saw this saying, Stephanic knew it was the counterattack move from Roxanne’s side.
Wanted to use this to blur the whole thing.
At that moment, a lot of marketing in the other direction showed up online-
“Maxwell just brought a date, Maxwell and Roxanne never officially said they were together, Stephanie also showed up with Jeremiah, right? So what did that make Stephanie and Jeremiah then?”
“At that auction, Roxanne was the first to bid on the Tanzanite with a paddle. She didn’t have her own paddle, so of course she used Maxwell’s. Anyone could tell it was Roxanne’s decision. Later, Stephanie made a bid too, and it was obvious she was just raising the price on purpose to go against Roxanne.”
“The main thing was, back then Roxanne had no idea Serena was actually Stephanie, so what she wanted was just to spend a million or so to buy that Tanzanite and do something nice. On the other hand, it was Stephanie, who knew everything, that kept arguing.”
“Yeah, she didn’t have a license plate herself, so you couldn’t use that to make a guess.”
People were still arguing online, but some people were convinced.
Both sides stuck to their own stories and argued like
crazy.
And the thing about the formal dress just got glossed over, the focus was on what both sides did.

In the lounge, Jeremiah made a disgusted face on the side.
But then he remembered he was still on camera, so Jeremiah just took something to block the phone while he typed.
“I’ve never seen anyone like that. If she were Simon, I would’ve beaten her up already!”
Stephanie smiled and looked at Jeremiah.
She typed on her phone-“She’s asking for trouble.”
Jeremiah looked at Stephanie, seemed to think of something, and looked kind of eager to try.
“Remember? When it first came out, our plan.” Stephanie said, hinting at something.
Jeremiah nodded.
Of course he remembered.
It just came out that Serena faked a donation, and because Stephanie and Maxwell hadn’t gotten their divorce papers yet, they decided to stall for now.
They didn’t wait until the final match, but cleared things up as soon as they got the divorce certificate.
Later, it was because the Humphrey Group and the Wilkinson Group covered things up, so they chose to make sure their final shot in the finals hit the mark.
But back then, they were already ready with a plan to clear things up.
