Chapter236
Jeremiah looked at Simon in front of him, and suddenly, he smiled.
Simon was confused by the laughter.
“Simon, you know what.” Jeremiah suddenly spoke, his voice unusually calm for someone with his temper, “You and the boss overestimated me, but you underestimated Serena.”
Simon looked like he just heard some kind of century joke.
He leaned against the wall and laughed so hard he couldn’t straighten up.
“Jeremiah. what were you talking about?” Simon thought about the things they had done these days.
After the fourth livestream, he and Roxanne fell out.
But later, Roxanne showed her sincerity and showed how she could make a big deal out of catching Serena faking donations, so Simon made up with her again.
And also agreed to let Roxanne handle the Conway family stuff.
“Still putting up a last struggle?” Simon’s mind raced. “That day at the Humphrey’s mansion, if it hadn’t been for Maxwell’s compensation and Harrison stepping in as a fan, you would’ve had to make Serena quit the competition.”
“These days, with me and the boss watching, there was no way you could mess with that auction list to clear Serena’s name. Even if you tried to make a donation after the fact, we still had ways to make von

reputation even worse.”
Simon stared hard at Jeremiah in front of him, but Jeremiah just looked. at him with a half–smile.
He suddenly had a really strange feeling.
Even though Jeremiah didn’t say anything, he still felt uneasy.
Simon kept remembering.
Looked at the plaster woman on the stage, then looked at Jeremiah in front of me.
“Serena’s reputation online was already ruined. Not to mention trading. sex for favors, if the donation fraud was proven, there was no way she could make a comeback.”
“These days, I knew your people tried to clear things up, but it just couldn’t be stopped.”
Simon heard his heart thumping.
“Didn’t she fake a donation?” Simon suddenly wondered, but then he dismissed the thought.
That charity auction dinner that day was hosted by the Conway family. Even though they were fighting among themselves, the auction checks were handled by him and the oldest together. Jeremiah could only keep Serena’s identity from them. As for everything else, a little guy like. Jeremiah didn’t have enough power to hide it from both of them at the same time.
Serena’s number plate really didn’t buy anything or make any donation, he was sure of that.
What was going on?

Was Jeremiah just being mysterious?
After thinking everything through, Simon finally relaxed and sneered, “Jeremiah, I think you really went crazy, still hoping for a miracle now”
“You think about it yourself.” Jeremiah shrugged and looked back at the plaster woman on the stage.
He was only in charge of keeping Simon under control.
Jeremiah smiled. “Maybe there really was a miracle.”
Backstage, watching the woman’s performance on stage, everyone had different expressions.
People still hadn’t forgotten what Emelia said to Serena here before.
So many people came to the show recording. As long as they were real contestants or guests, except for Roxanne, they all knew music. Even the host knew a bit.
Of course, everyone thought Roxanne understood too.
Now, after seeing Serena’s stage, everyone looked at each other, and some even sneaked a glance at Emelia.
Emelia gritted her teeth, but held her head high. She sat there and didn’t ok weak at all.
With so many people online boycotting, even if the stage was really great, so what? Still had to face a total withdrawal from the internet!
