Chapter234
“That was fast, today was already the last final.” When it was Roxanne’s turn to speak, she smiled, her eyes a little red, “I really didn’t want to say goodbye.”
Everyone nodded.
“Even though my life was almost at its end, I believed that when the t its end, I believed that when the day came for me to leave, just thinking about these days and everything with you all would still bring tears to my eyes.”
Roxanne said with a “brave” smile, she said, “When the show goes to commercials later, I’ll send out 50 invitations on my platform.”
“If anyone was willing, please come to my funeral in a few months with the invitation letter.”
As she spoke, Roxanne bowed deeply with red eyes.
“I hoped everyone who came could dress up, because I wanted everyone to live well, strong and bright.”
As she spoke, she gave a sad, beautiful smile: “Hope you guys don’t find it unlucky.”
The audience on site all started crying, and some people screamed loudly-“No, we won’t think it’s bad luck, Roxie was so pitiful.”
People online were also talking a lot.
Many netizens who supported Roxanne said they felt sorry for her and were even thinking about how to snatch the invitation.

“Why were there only 50 tickets, I didn’t know if I could get one.
“Upstairs, Roxie didn’t want to make it a big deal, and was also worried we’d think funerals were unlucky, so she only invited 50 people from online.”
“She was really so nice.”
“Stephanie the sweet wife came out! Look at what Roxanne did, do you still have the nerve to live?”
Some people even left comments-“I’d rather trade the rest of Stephanie’s life for Roxanne’s safety!”
This comment went straight to the top of the likes list for that topic.
Roxanne finished speaking and stepped back, letting the others talk.
Her eyes swept over from the audience and confirmed that there was still no one near Maxwell.
She lowered her head to fix her clothes, and a hint of pride flashed in her eyes.
“Stephanie, you’d better step in now, I want to see how you handle this,” Roxanne thought.
And the real Stephanie just stood here backstage, calmly watching Roxanne perform over there.
She noticed Roxanne glancing now and then toward the audience, at the seat next to Maxwell.
Stephanie knew that was the seat Maxwell saved for her.
Roxanne did that just to get ready for when she was about to go to the audience seats, right?

I have to say, the marketing team behind Roxanne was really impressive.
It seemed like every few days there was a different new idea to mess around with.
But…
Stephanie just shrugged and smiled, Roxanne’s plan was doomed to fail.
She wasn’t going to show up in the audience.
But instead, it showed up on the contestant stage.
Stephanie took a look at Maxwell over there.
His eyes fell on the empty seat next to him. He frowned a little, not sure what he was thinking.
Not far from Maxwell, Harrison and Daniella were up to something. whispering with their heads together. Lennon was sitting in the shadows, and no one could see his expression.
“Okay, now let’s welcome today’s first contestant. Emelia, to come up and sing!”
As the host’s voice came on, the competition between the contestants officially started.
Emelia went on stage in everyone’s cheers and applause.
As the stage lit up, she started singing.
Emelia was also one of the top newcomers, and after her performance, she got tons of applause.

Stephanie was waiting backstage, and Katrina was pacing nervously right next to her.
This time, Stephanie got picked to go third.
But this time, it didn’t really matter what place you got, because there were only three people competing in the final. So they invited back some of the contestants who had been eliminated before. After the three finished singing, those singers would show up for a bit, which made the live show more interesting and also gave the audience enough time to vote.
By now, Emelia had already come down, and she was very happy with how she did.
She walked straight up to Stephanie and stood in front of her with a proud look on her face.
“Serena, now the other one was already on the court, you still had one last chance to withdraw.” Emelia looked at her and said.
Everyone there just quietly watched them.
Especially the way they looked at Stephanie, every single one of them looked weird.
Bradley on one side seemed like he wanted to say something, but in the end he kept his mouth shut.
He who knew how to adapt to the times was a wise man, and Stephanie knew it.
So, she stood up and looked Emelia straight in the eye.
