From the trailer, that original studio demo played a role in sealing the deal.
That scene was when the female lead was recording the demo, the male lead was actually listening nearby, she just didn’t notice.
Another way in was, when the female lead died in the male lead’s arms, this demo played again, making the male lead remember the good times and feel heartbroken.
As soon as this trailer came out, it immediately caught a lot of attention from netizens.
Everyone liked eating fresh melons.
The drama between Stephanie and Maxwell was already old news, there was nothing exciting about it.
“I only watched the trailer and my eyes were already full of tears. When the short drama came out, I was definitely the first to support it.”
“This was about the story between Roxanne and Maxwell, right? So sad. Just thinking that in five months, Roxanne would die in Maxwell’s arms with this demo playing, it almost killed me.”
“Hurry up and get online, once you’re online I’ll be the first to support you!”
Stephanie just smiled when she saw the message.

She actually hoped Roxanne would hurry up and let this go online.
It would be easier for her to sue then.
I just hear
that Roxanne wanted to get this micro–drama approved and shown in theaters, so it still needed some time. I didn’t know if Roxanne could pull it off.
When she saw the message, Stephanie was bringing her lawyer to the Humphrey Group.

She handed the divorce papers to Edgar and said she everything that was supposed to be hers.
This included the former members of the Shelton Group.
“Edgar, check it,” Stephanie said. “I want to do the handover today or tomorrow. This is my lawyer.” She introduced Harold Irwin, who was standing to the side, to Edgar.
Back when Stephanie left a loophole in this contract, she knew this day would come.
So I found a lawyer early on.
Maxwell’s signature was on the divorce agreement.
If things went smoothly, it could go straight to the company review process.
Edgar took the copy of the agreement and looked troubled.
The original was still in Stephanie’s hands.
There was also a copy with Maxwell, so no need to worry about this being faked, Edgar could go check.

“Mrs. Humphrey, this…”
Edgar hadn’t finished talking when the sound of high heels came.
Then, Estrella’s voice came: “Edgar, Stephanie? What are you doing here?”
Edgar immediately put away that copy.
Ever since Estrella finished that wine tasting event, she officially joined the Humphrey Group.
Didn’t join the finance department, just kept handling things with Groena and helped manage stuff on her dad’s side.
At that moment, Estrella had a file in her hand and walked straight up to the two of them.
“What’s wrong?” Estrella looked at Edgar.
Then she looked at Stephanie again: “Max was sick and in the hospital, what were you doing here?”
Whether Maxwell was sick or not had nothing to do with what she had to do.
She came over today to deal with property stuff. It was something she had planned many days ago, and the lawyer was already found a long time ago.
Stephanie didn’t want to pay attention to Estrella, didn’t want to get too involved with her, and just wanted to get the Shelton family’s stuff back as soon as possible.
So, she signaled Edgar to talk on the side.
“Don’t go!” Estrella stopped them, looked at Stephanie, then at Edgar,

“What are you talking about that you don’t want others to hear?”
Stephanie looked at Estrella and said, “There’s nothing shady going on, I just wanted to separate my stuff from the Humphrey Group.”
“Include that department?” Estrella asked.
“Of course,” Stephanie replied.
“Huh?” Estrella laughed, “Stephanie, are you out of your mind? It already belonged to the Humphrey Group, and you still wanted to split it off? It wasn’t yours anymore!”
“Estrella.” Stephanie took a step forward and looked coldly at the woman in front of her. “The property division between Maxwell and me is none of your business yet.”
“You!” Estrella’s face turned red with anger.
But Stephanie didn’t look at her, she just looked at Edgar: “Let’s keep going.”
Estrella was obviously not willing to give up. She glared at Edgar and wouldn’t let Edgar talk.
She put the files aside, then took out her phone and called Maxwell.
“I just didn’t buy it, Stephanie, my brother couldn’t have let you take it away.”
Stephanie took a quick look at Estrella’s phone.
Edgar on the side also said, “Mrs. Humphrey, your matter had to be looked at by Mr. Humphrey himself. Even with this document, Mr. Humphrey still had to give his approval.
