Chapter219
“Okay.” Maxwell replied.
But after he put down his phone, another thought popped into his mind.
What was Stephanie doing on the first day after the divorce?
Maxwell looked at the time.
Right now, Stephanie should have gone to pick up Belinda from school.
Then. I took Belinda back to the place she rented and cooked for her.
What would they eat?
Tomato and sausage risotto? Shaped like Cinnamoroll?
It seemed like Belinda really liked Cinnamoroll.
Without thinking. Maxwell pressed the intercom. Edgar walked in.
“Mr. Humphrey.” Edgar said respectfully.
“Go find out about the collab terms for cartoon mascot brands, and buy more merch to study.” Maxwell tapped his finger on the table and said calmly.
Edgar opened his mouth, but swallowed his words and just said, “Yes.”
“Then, after you finished studying it, send it to the kindergarten, the one where Belinda was,” Maxwell said. “Got it?”
Chapter219
“Got it, Mr. Humphrey, make the best use of everything, giving them to all the kids in the nearby kindergarten is the best,” Edgar said.
Maxwell nodded at that.
Belinda wouldn’t take his stuff, so if you wanted to give something to Belinda, this was the only way.
By now, Maxwell was still a bit dazed.
The marriage just ended like that.
He actually thought Stephanie would cry a lot, or refuse the divorce, and that it would take a few fights before they finally split up.
He scrolled through his phone looking for Stephanie’s chat, but the last messages were still the ones he’d sent her with no reply.
He remembered last night when he asked her if she loved him, and she answered with that “love.”
So, did you learn to be mature, or were you just sulking?

The other side.
Stephanie already took Belinda home.
The mother and daughter were eating.
When Roxanne came to ask Maxwell to have dinner together, Stephanie was giving Belinda a bath.
When Roxanne and Maxwell sat down in the restaurant, Stephanie got Belinda ready, carried her to the car, and took her to the place.
Then, Stephanie drove the car back and parked it, and took a cab to

Pulse Nightclub.
I might have a little to drink tonight, so driving wasn’t convenient.
Because she had to take care of her kid, Stephanie was a bit late when she arrived.
When Stephanie pushed the door open and came in, McKayla was singing and dancing hysterically.
This actually gave Stephanie a scare.
Patrick frowned on one side, looking helplessly at his little sister.
“Steph. you’re here!” McKayla saw Stephanie, stopped, then walked over with a big smile.
He even pushed a few good–looking guys that Stephanie didn’t know over to her.
“Hey, the cute guy you called.” McKayla said with a smile. Stephanie???
Jeremiah on the side was speechless too.
“Kayla…” Stephanie didn’t get a chance to say anything before McKayla pinched her.
“I thought my brother wasn’t coming,” McKayla said in a low voice. “I heard he was on the night shift, but I didn’t expect he switched shifts with a coworker. Bestie, help me out, or my brother’s gonna kill me!”
“McKayla!” Patrick was really pissed off. “You’re holding the mic and still lowering your voice. You think I’m deaf?”
“It’s over, good girl, I’m done for!” McKayla wailed.

Stephanie looked funny.
What a character.
Patrick filled the room catching McKayla, Logan took her mic and started getting hyped.
Milton had something to do and couldn’t come today, so he had Logan Say sorry to her.
Jeremiah walked over and poured her a glass of wine.
“How is it? How does it feel on the first day after the divorce?” Jeremiah said with a smile.
“That was really…” Stephanie took the drink, had a big sip, and said, “Awesome!”
A few people laughed together.
A few good–looking guys stayed too, since they’d already been called.
It was also nice to liven things up by showing some talents.
“I was just curious.” The room was full of McKayla’s wailing, “Bro. I won’t dare next time.”
“You still dared to do it again!” Patrick chased McKayla all around the house.
While they were messing around, Wesley happened to walk by outside.
The door wasn’t fully closed, there was a little gap, so the sound from inside came out.
Hearing the chaos inside, Wesley said to the person next to him. “It’s

really lively,”
The person next to him nodded and smiled, saying yeah.
Wesley didn’t care either, just took his people to the next room.
Walking while looking at my phone, I wanted to ask Maxwell if he was almost done eating.
But before I even sent a message, a gossip notification popped up-
“Maxwell, Roxanne candlelight dinner”
Wesley clicked it open and laughed, “Hey, that’s pretty romantic.”
