Chapter 47 Ropes

Chapter 47 Ropes
Lana’s Point of View
Why do I keep forgetting that Christian was dangerous? He had a light demeanor and gave off clingy boyfriend energy, but there were times when his personality shifted into something much darker, and then he became domineering and dangerous.
And this was one of those times when he randomly made me do things according to his will. I bit down on my lips, contemplating how he was going to make me sit if I refused.
I bet it would be fun.
Reluctantly, I sat down, unwilling to listen to the unhinged voice that settled in my brain.
“Give me my phone.” My voice softer. “I need to talk to my friends.”
“I will give it to you when the date is over.” He answered, as he sat down as well, stuffing the phone in his breast pocket; my eyes darted towards it, but I was unable to reach it.
“You can’t take my phone away from me.” I tried to argue, not because I needed the phone anymore, but because I liked the look in his eyes as he spoke to me.
They were hard, serious, and they lingered on me with a hidden danger; it’s almost as if he was restraining himself from flipping me against this table, and spanking me into submission.
“In case you don’t know, this date means so much to me,” He started, his eyes finally flickering away from mine. “I would appreciate it if you just go back to being the good girl you were and eat.”
My cheeks heat up. There was something about the way he said ‘good girl’ that made heat curl in my stomach. So, like an obedient little girl, I picked more sausages and munched on them.
Meanwhile, Christian just watched me proudly as I ate, and God, I’m not sure I have eaten anything that good in my life. I stuffed my face until there was nothing left on most of the plates, and even though I wanted to finish all the food, it was nearly impossible to do that.

“Do you mind some games?” Christian asked curiously. “I don’t know if you play games, because you’re a girl, but I could teach you some moves.”
I burst out laughing, and Christian’s blue eyes narrowed suspiciously, and in confusion.
“I have two brothers, what makes you think I don’t play games?” His thin lips formed a smirk almost immediately, and he grabbed my arms, pulling me towards the game set in the room. “Then, I don’t think you’re ready for all the games I brought up for you.”
“What games do you have?” My eyes widened when he brought out the CD’s.
“You have shadow combat?” I squealed in delight when my eyes caught sight of something familiar, and I grabbed one of the CDs from his hands. “Shadow Combat 7: The Red Awakening! Oh! My goodness, my brothers are going to be so jealous when I tell them I played it.”
I giggled, my eyes darting towards him again.
“That is the latest one in the Shadow combat series. In this season, the main character is going to journey into hell to find the magic flower that can bring his lover back to life, but first he must defeat Satan.”
“I’m amazed you know so much about this game,” He seemed to be grinning more often today. “I wasn’t really a fan; I leaned into Assassin’s Realm instead.”
He brought the CD up, and my eyes almost fell out of their sockets.
“I played this one too!” I took it from him. “The twins will be so jealous when I tell them.” Silence engulfs us for a while, and then he spoke.
“Well, we can meet up after the term to play games, and you can bring your brothers too.” He offered, and my eyes snapped towards him, my sense returning to me.
“I would like to be in touch with you, even after we are done with high school. I want to take this seriously; I want to take us seriously.”
I was unable to speak. “I know you’re confused because I have too many red flags, and I have done so many things to make you weary, and if not hate me, but every day is enough for me to change your mind, and eventually I can be the perfect man you would want to date.”
“Why would you want to date a girl like me?” I asked suddenly. “I am not pretty, and I am poor.”
“I don’t think you’re ugly—in my opinion, you are the prettiest girl I have ever seen.”
“Liar.” I turned on my heels and walked away, but Christian followed me.
“You don’t even know what I look like without my disguise, you haven’t even seen me as a woman.” I laughed bitterly. “Being attracted to someone like me is no less than being gay.”
“I don’t care, whatever I’m seeing right now is enough for me.”
“You said it yourself.” I reminded him. “Men are filled with more desires, especially when they are in a place with limited females.”
“You think this is all about my desires.”
“I bet once we have sex, you won’t find me attractive anymore.” I snapped, and he froze for a while, and then he blinked.
“Then let’s put your logic to the test.” He said, pointing to the bed. “I can fuck you right now, to set your mind straight, let’s see if my attraction for you disappears.”
I blushed hard, unable to respond to him.
“Lana, you’re an attractive woman, and yes, I want to fuck you, but that is not the only thing I want.” His eyes darted towards the floor, once more, that shy streak in his expression, everything about him seems like a contradiction.
“Then what else do you want?” I asked.
“I want you.” He leaned closer. “And I want you to want me, I want you to own me, to take control of me, make me yours.”
I was about to say something when I heard a knock on the door, two urgent knocks, and my eyes flickered in the direction of the door.
“I’m coming.” He muttered as he stomped towards the door. I quickly ran further into the room, searching for a perfect spot to hide, and I hope it’s not going to be like the last time Xavier showed up in the dorm room.
“What are you doing?” He asked, Christian’s voice asked from behind me, and I turned towards him, my eyes flickering down to the box in his hands.
I straightened up almost immediately, adjusting my clothes.
“Nothing.” I then pointed towards the box in his hands. “What is that?”
“I had a package ordered.”
My eyes suspiciously scanned the erotic logo and the title that was written in bold letters on the black box in Christian’s hands.
‘KISS & TELL’
What kind of product would he order from a company named Kiss and Tell?
“Lana, have you ever tied someone up before?” Christian asked as he neared me, my breathing hitched, and my eyes trailed up to meet his very serious ones.
Tie up, someone?
My brain froze…In what sense?
My blood turned ice as he opened the box, and my eyes combated the well-packaged cotton ropes, arranged carefully in the ropes.
I took a step back, and he burst out laughing.
“What the hell is that?” I squeaked.
“Ropes.” He leaned in closer before he repeated the question, this time even more concise. “Have you ever tied up a person before?”
