Chapter 152 Catching an Affair
The photo clearly showed Ava's face, and Thea smiled with satisfaction.
"Thea, what's wrong with you? Your fiancé is having dinner with another woman and even holding her hand, and you can still smile? Are you crazy?"
Thea curved her lips and sent the photo she'd taken to Joshua.
She felt both angry and relieved at the same time. So Timothy was in such a hurry to break off their engagement because he had someone else in his heart. And the key thing was, that person was Ava. What was so great about Ava that made so many men like her?
The fact that Timothy liked Ava and wanted to break off their engagement made her feel deeply insulted.
But she had taken this photo and sent it to Joshua. She could already imagine how angry Joshua would be when he found out Ava had such a flirtatious face.
Thinking about this, Thea couldn't help but curve her lips.
Great. Who would have thought Timothy actually did her a huge favor.
"You don't understand. He's not the one I like. Whether he's with other women or not has nothing to do with me."
What mattered was that this could bring down Ava.
Thea curved her lips calmly. She put down her utensils and swayed her way over.
Ava immediately pulled her hand back from his, her voice cold and somewhat displeased. "Just a small fall, it's not a big deal."
"It's bandaged like this, how can it not be a big deal?" Timothy's face darkened slightly.
Just then.
"Ava, you're eating here too."
Thea greeted Ava warmly and gently. Her eyes shifted and she saw the man next to her, her gaze filling with strong surprise. "Timothy, what are you doing here too?"
Thea covered her mouth in feigned surprise, her eyes darting back and forth between Timothy and Ava, as if she suddenly understood something.
"Are you... are you two on a date?"
"Timothy, you've gone too far. You're Thea's fiancé. How can you date another woman? This is really too much." Thea's friend Quiana said in a sharp voice.
Thea immediately put on an extremely wronged expression. "Timothy, I know you don't like me, but we still have an engagement. You can't go behind my back... behind my back..."
Thea bit her teeth tightly, not finishing her sentence, looking like it was too shameful to say, as if they had done something improper.
Ava's brow furrowed slightly, and a cold aura spread from her.
She really didn't know that Thea and Timothy were actually engaged.
But no matter what, she didn't need to look at them with that kind of look, as if they had done something terribly improper.
In broad daylight, they were sitting together having a meal, maintaining the most normal distance. It couldn't be more ordinary.
Ava pulled at her lips slightly and explained, "Ms. Ellis, I think you've misunderstood."
"Misunderstood?" Tears instantly welled up in Thea's eyes, looking helpless and wronged, like she'd caught her fiancé cheating. "Ava, I've always treated you like a sister, but why would you do this to me?"
"And aren't you with Joshua? Now you're with Timothy again. You... you've gone too far."
"You're actually cheating." Quiana instantly glared at Ava.
Cheating!
Ava frowned, a bit of coldness appearing in her eyes.
Their voices were loud enough to make sure everyone around could hear.
"Thea, what are you trying to pull now?" Timothy closed his eyes deeply, staring at Thea with eyes full of anger.
Tears immediately fell from Thea's eyes in big drops. "I'm pulling something? Timothy, am I the one causing trouble? I like you so much, but you're the one who did something wrong to me first."
"Ava and I are completely innocent. You can slander me, but don't slander her." Timothy reached out and grabbed Thea's hand, apologized to Ava, and tried to pull Thea outside.
"I'm not leaving. Today I want you to explain everything clearly."
Timothy's expression was dark, his tense handsome face and the coldness around him showing his anger.
"Explain what? Thea, I already told you I wanted to break off the engagement, and you agreed at the time. We just need to tell our parents. What right do you have to question me now?"
"And are Ava and I sneaking around? Are we hugging and kissing? We're sitting in a busy restaurant having a meal, behaving properly. Don't use such dirty words to describe us."
Timothy usually had a good temper, but this time he was really angry.
He stared coldly at Thea.
"And you don't even care who I'm with. Today you're just seizing an opportunity, an opportunity to slander Ava, because of Joshua. Am I right or not?"
"You... you!" Thea's whole body was trembling.
Having her thoughts exposed so nakedly, Thea felt like her face had been slapped hard several times.
But she quickly resumed that weak appearance. "Why are you saying this about me? When did I agree to break off the engagement? You're the one who did something wrong, yet you're blaming me."
Thea's heart and face were full of grievance. She lowered her head deeply, looking like she'd caught her husband cheating with a mistress, and the husband was still protecting the mistress - helpless and wronged.
Eyes kept turning their way, with whispered conversations.
"What's this? So dramatic, we've got a show to watch."
"That guy is so bad. He has a fiancée but is messing around with another woman. He did something wrong but is blaming his fiancée. That's really terrible."
"And that woman, she's the other woman but she still has the nerve to sit there. So arrogant. This fiancée is too nice. If it were me, I'd definitely go up and slap that homewrecker a few times."
"Exactly. Seducing someone's man, using her pretty face to do whatever it takes. This kind of woman is really terrible. They should strip her clothes off and expose her to everyone, make her lose all face, and see if she dares to seduce other people's husbands again."
The voices around them grew more intense. Everyone had a watching-the-drama attitude toward this kind of thing.
