Chapter 758 Chapter 758
Oaklyn couldn’t think. She was barely able to remember to breathe. His touch felt like it was branding her, and she didn’t want him to stop. His kisses engulfed her in flames. With each breath, she took his scent into her body, and it felt like it was part of her now. A part that she hadn’t realized she needed until this moment. Walking away from him was going to be impossible. She looked at him. He was watching her. His breath against her was caressing her very core. She couldn’t think to speak and hoped he wasn’t waiting for a sign that she consented for him to continue.
He grasped her thighs and pulled her closer to the edge of the cool wood beneath her bottom. He was so hesitant and careful with everything he did, but not this. In this, he didn’t hesitate, and it was setting her ablaze. His mouth closed over her, and she moaned and dropped her head back against the mirror. She gripped the edge of the dresser because she was afraid she’d tear into his skin if she was touching him right now. He used his tongue and teeth and brought her so close to the edge of an orgasm that with each breath, she made low, quiet animal sounds.
When he suddenly stopped and moved away from her, she was dizzy with need. Opening her eyes, she saw him strip the shorts from his body and barely had a second to appreciate his nakedness before he picked her up and lifted her like she weighed no more than a child.
Grabbing his shoulders, she clung to him when he turned and lowered both of them to the floor in one smooth motion. She was so lost in him and this moment that she could only think of here and now. The rest of the world ceased to exist.
His mouth covered hers and ravished it at the same moment he slipped inside her body. She groaned, and the sound was absorbed inside his mouth. Breaking the kiss, he looked down at her and then slowly moved out of her. Her breath hitched. She needed him to move faster. Harder. She was so close. She tried to thrust up into him, but he had his hand on her hip bone, holding her firmly in place.
He growled, leaned up, and placed his mouth against her ear. “We may not mark each other, but know this.” He slowly moved inside of her. “You are mine. We are each other’s, and no one does this to you but me.”
She went to speak and cut her tongue on her sharp teeth. The taste of her own blood filled her mouth. Her animal was growling inside her. “Yes.” She gasped when their bodies connected. “Only yours.”
Zain growled against her throat, and her wolf went crazy inside of her. Oaklyn couldn’t think. He thrust into her again, and she whimpered. Gripping his hips, she dug her nails in and coaxed him to move faster. He complied, and she just kept climbing. He kissed her, his tongue scrapping across hers. The taste of their blood mixed, and she saw a vision of their wolves running free together inside her head.
Oaklyn grabbed a handful of his hair and pulled his head to the side. “Yours.” Her teeth pierced the skin on his neck as he sent her crashing over the edge. She bit down, moaning as the convulsions of completion tore through her. Releasing his flesh, she opened her mouth, trying to suck air into her body.
Zain placed his hand behind her back, and she found herself lifted up, straddling him. She didn’t know if she was moving or he was moving her, but her whole body was quaking with need all over again. “Mine.” He growled, and then his teeth bit through her flesh. Oaklyn clung to him as another orgasm crashed through her.
Her whole body was numb in the most delightful way. She opened her eyes to see she was lying on the floor, him over her. Their breathing was the only thing she could hear. He lifted his weight, rested on his elbows, and looked down at her with eyes filled with adoration. Her heart felt like it skipped a beat. She looked at his neck, and there was no mistaking the bite mark in his skin. It was deep and oozing blood down across his throat.
“That happened.” She swallowed and tried to create salvia.
“How mad are you?”
She looked back at him to see the hesitant, unsure man was back. She reached up and ran her fingers through his hair. “I believe I bit first.” She looked at his mouth, stretched up, and kissed him.
“Yeah.”
Turning her head, she looked at the bed beside them. “The no bed thing didn’t work.”
He grinned. “No. It didn’t.”
She closed her eyes and saw her animal looking very pleased. “I think—” She looked up at him. “I think our wolves interfered with our plans.”
He leaned down and licked over her bite. Her body convulsed around him. She moaned. “I know they did. I felt like I was shoved out of the way for a moment.”
“Mmm,” She looked at him. “So, I guess you’re stuck with me.” Something inside her had shifted. She wasn’t upset or disappointed that this man was now her other half. It was like the loneliness she’d felt her entire life was gone.
His smile was quick. “Oh darn, huh?” He lowered his head and kissed her slowly, and just like that, her body wanted to melt for him again.
