Chapter 109
With frustration, her eyes narrowed, and her eyebrows furrowed in a scowl.
Her jaw clenched exposing her tension.
She just can't believe this was happening.
Even though her father have been breaking the rules, she thinks he still did a lot more good for them.
And that was a regret her father tried his best to avoid.
Her posture was rigid, spine straight, conveying a sense of defiance, but still yet she shivered.
Her eyes dart around, scanning the room with a mix of annoyance and uncertainty.
Her gaze lingers on each person, object, or obstacle that stood by.
Her eyes then stumbled upon James who was anxiously waiting for her to leave.
She could almost feel the pleasure in his eyes. He did enjoy seeing her father suffer.
How she hated it that Morgan was also there, watching this.
He was the one who she had initially come to see.
She believed he could help her with her request. And perhaps, convince the others too.
She sniffled and began breathing rapidly and audibly.
Her feet suddenly felt weak, agitating backwards.
Her weight shifts from one leg to the other, conveying restlessness.
Her head tilts slightly and my ears tuned to listen to the growing whispers.
Emily's eyes flash with anger as she heard the anticipation of people who wanted to actually see her leave.
She curled my lips into a snarl, revealing a hint of teeth, like a cornered animal.
Her face contorts, a mixture of disgust, frustration, and outrage.
Her chin juts forward, as she was not ready to comply with James words.
"Get out now or we will do that ourselves!" James yelled, his voice was low, husky, and laced with venom.
Their tones were toxic, dripping with sarcasm and disdain to her ears.
Her mind begins to race with diverse thoughts.
She has to get them to help her or else Damian wins.
She was fed up, exhausted, and pushed to the limit.
"What if I tell you this is a chance of catching Damian Wayne?" she stated suddenly.
She exhaled deeply as everyone's anxious expression began to please her.
At least they seemed curious to know more and she seemed happy about the fact.
"Are you trying to joke with us child?" James inquired.
"Damian Wayne is the one who captured my father " she confessed.
"What! Why didn't you say that since?" James quarrelled.
Damian was a force to be reckoned with, a werewolf of unyielding ferocity and unmatched strength.
For years, Damian had roamed the land, a ghostly figure striking fear into the hearts of all who crossed his path. His reputation was whispered about in hushed tones around campfires and in dark alleys: a werewolf of unyielding power.
Many had tried to capture him, to tame the beast and claim its power for themselves. But Damian had always proven elusive, a master of evasion and deception. He had outwitted the most skilled hunters, outrun the swiftest trackers, and outlasted even the most determined of pursuers.
His fur was as black as coal, and it seemed to absorb the light around him, making him all but invisible in the shadows. His claws were razor-sharp, capable of tearing steel and shredding concrete with ease. And his jaws... his jaws were powerful enough to crush the skull of a bear with a single, deadly bite.
Damian was a monster, a creature of legend and terror. And yet, despite his fearsome reputation, there was something undeniably captivating about him, something that drew people in even as they trembled with fear. He was a force of nature, unstoppable and unyielding, and those who dared to cross his path did so at their own peril.
It is believed that any hunter or hunters organization that catches or kills the powerful Damian, is the best there ever is.
James knew this could boost his reputation and his organization, so he was willing to give out some of his warriors to Emily.
Emily heaved a sigh of relief after hearing James final words to help her.
Finally, she could save Lucian and her father.
She gave a smile ofc hope and bowed her head before the senior hunters seated at the table.

Emily stepped out of the Hunters Agency, her eyes scanning the street as she adjusted her hair behind her back and her goggles properly.
Behind her, a group of 10 hunters assistants, handpicked by the agency, fell into step. They were a diverse group, each with their own unique skills and strengths, but Emily couldn't shake the feeling that they were not enough to go against Damian's soldiers
As they walked, Emily's mind kept drifting back to the mission ahead. Damian's army was rumored to be massive, with hundreds of werewolves at his command. The thought sent a shiver down her spine. She had faced tough opponents before, but this was on a whole different level.
Emily glanced over her shoulder at the group following her. They were all famous for hunters, but she knew that even their combined strength might not be enough to take down Damian's army. She had asked the agency for more support, but they had refused, citing limited resources and the need to prioritize other missions.
Although, the agency assured her that she could call for backup when the time is right.
She suddenly stopped and turned to them.
"Listen up," she said, her voice low and urgent. "I know we're all experienced hunters, but I have to be honest with you--- I don't think we have enough manpower to take down Damian's army."
The group exchanged uneasy glances, but Emily pressed on. "We need to come up with a strategy, and fast. We can't take on Damian's army head-on, not with our current numbers. We need to be smart, use our skills to our advantage, and find a way to even the odds."
The group nodded, determination etched on their faces. They knew the stakes were high, but they were ready to face whatever lay ahead. Together, they began brainstorming, pouring over maps and strategizing their next move. Emily watched them, a sense of pride and trepidation growing inside her. They were in for the fight of their lives, and Emily could only hope that they would emerge victorious.
While they were on their way, Emily she had a tracker on her father's phone.
She put on her phone to trace her father's immediately and find out where he truly wasm?
