Chapter 108
The car made a snort sound as it came to a stop.
She got out of the car and slammed the door behind her.
She was holding a suitcase and wore dark goggles upon her face.
She looked serious like one who mean business.
Her eyes watched the both sides of the road strictly, before majestically moving forward.
She was careful in her footsteps not to be detected as it could screw her purpose for being there.
Furthermore she sneaked into the building that stood close by at the other end of the road.
The building looked deserted as it has not been probably visited for some time.
The door was locked on her arrival. She placed the suitcase on the ground and opened it quickly, taking a pin out of it, she closed back the case.
Emily turned once more to see whether they were passerbys.
She put the pin into the key hole and turned the bolt open.
She heaved a sigh of relief as the door opens.
He slide himself through the narrow opening and shuts the door again behind her.
It was a large mansion with well furnished fittings in its interior.
Emily placed down his suitcase once more and placed it on the floor.
Out from the case he took out a microscope which she used on the floor.
She seemed to be looking out for something which she still wasn't certain where it was.
Although, he had hopes of finding his answers here.
The position at which she was in, was in the living room.
There was nothing in the room but weird paintings.
Finally, she found a dot symbol on the floor and smiled mischievously.
"Found it!" she muttered to herself, excitedly.
As he decended below the stairs, her eyes focused on the tracks of the stairs.
Her eyes stumbled upon a blood stain on one of the stairs.
It had caught her attention and she decided to stop and check it probably.
She gulped and ignored further checking.
With her phone camera on, she continued walking upon the stairs until she reached the end of it.
It was a hallway with large doors at both sides.
There were definitely rooms behind those doors.
She was actually confused on which of the doors to take.
It's been awhile since she visited this particular location.
She was about to enter the door on the left, when she suddenly heard sounds approaching her.
It was the sound of an opening door.
Her heart began to race as her father was clearly band from coming to the place.
She wonders how she would convince them to help her in the fight.
The hunters association is the biggest bounty hunter association ever. It was after he was band that he went ahead to form his own organization of hunters.
She quickly entered into the room by the right and close the door slightly inorder to peep.
The footsteps were loud and careful, giving the hint that it was a woman in motion
She was calm, awaiting the intruder to pass her door before she could walk through.
She was only there to see one person. A friend of her father's who she thinks she could convince.
Perhaps whoever it was might have seen her entered and did the same to watch him.
He wondered if she was an agent or she also had something else to do in the secret location.
Her eyes watched the door, waiting for her to enter.
She could no longer hear her footsteps all of a sudden.
Emily wondered if the walker had stopped or taken a different way.
She tried to get closer to the door to peep through.
"Uh um!" she heard someone coughed behind her.
She turned around quickly to see who did that.
Her eyes met with some people on the table. They seemed to be in a meeting before she intruded.
"Who are you?" a man asked her.
He was seated at the front of a table while six others were seated by his sides.
She recognized them immediately she saw them.
They were in charge of instructing hunters to duty.
She bowed before them and rose her head.
"I am Emily, daughter of Gregory Smith" she introduced herself.
"Gregory Smith?" the man in the front of the table muttered after her. He was trying to recall who the name belonged to.
"Gregory Smith!" he called the name again, but with anger this time.
He remembered the personality vividly. Greg was someone that always go against the rules.
Although, he always brought back victory. His missions always got loud and that was against the company's policy.
That was why he was fired from his duty as a hunter.
"What do you want hear?" the leader of the crew asked Emily.
His name is James. He was the first man to ever found a wolf's hunters association. Emily father is simply the second person to do so.
"Did your dad send you here for revenge?" James questioned and stared at her.
"If I have come for revenge, I would have brought an army wouldn't I?" Emily replied.
"So what is it that you want? You are disrupting our meeting" the leader asked again.
"Help! Help is what I need" she replied.
"Help?" they all yelled this time looking surprised at her request.
"Why would the daughter of a super hunter need our help?" James was curious to know.
"My dad has been captured" she announced.
"And?" he said.
She rolled her eyes and thought that her coming to them for help was a bad idea.
"My father has been captured and I need your help to release him" She spoke calmly.
"So your father gets band since five years, he never returned to apologize, and now he needs our help" a crew member stated.
Another laughed mocking.
"You made a mistake for coming here child" James said to her.
"I know you must have hated my father badly" Emily said sorrowfully. "But
I beg you to reconsider your decisions not to help him" she added.
"And why should we?" the leader questioned.
