Chapter 106

Greg aimed his gun at the plain and shot at the plain.

Booby had gripped Rose's leg earlier, but he ran away as soon as Greg began shooting his bullets at him, before he ran away.

Even so, the man wasn't convinced that Booby was off their trail.

He knew that he would still come back for them.

However, they have to keep moving to escape from the predator.

Rose had her leg injured. She still struggled to walk alongside Greg.

Booby appeared before them suddenly.

Greg gulped and pointed his gun at Booby.

He was aware that he only had one more bullet in his gun.

"On my signal, you will run away as fast as you can. I'll hold his as much as I can" Greg whispered to Rose.

"Why are you saying this?" she questioned in low tone. "We have to go together" Rose insisted.

"I'm afraid but we can't risk both our lives" Greg stated and smiled at her.

"It's going to be okay, I promise you, I won't let anything happen to you" she gave her his word.

She sniffed her nose and hugged him quickly. "Please survive" she said to him.

"It seems you have run out of bullets" Booby mocked him.

"Well, you guessed it right" Greg affirmed and put away his gun to convince him that he was out of bullets.

Booby began running towards him to attack him.

Greg signalled Rose with a beckon to run away.

With tears in her eyes, she ran as fast as she could. Despite the fact that she was injured.

He pulled the trigger with his final bullet escaping from it and hitting his target on the arm.

Greg began to run afterward to escape from Booby, because he knew a single bullet couldn't kill a werewolf.

Booby waited for his arm to heal before he went on to chase Greg.

Greg couldn't get to a far distance before he was caught by Booby.

After going to the throne room, he found no one there. So he decided to come check the hallway where rooms were.

He saw the guards securing Julie's door and suspected her to be in there.

He needed a strategy to get into the room.

There was no time for him to think, anyone who was coming from behind would spot him in no time.

With a swift mood, he ran to them and knocked them down.

Their body landed hardly on the floor. Which was able to alert whoever was inaide.

Lucian dragged their bodies into a room and kept them there.

In this room, he found Luca's body along with his other soldiers.

Their bodies were hung up on the roof.

He was pained, he knelt down on his knees and began to cry.

"No" he muttered softly and kept crying.

"You will pay for this" his words slipped out of his lips with pain.

His veins began to show it's visibility and his eyes glowed.

Luca, his loyal bodyguard had been killed. He felt emotional about that.

He put on one of the soldiers clothes and made his way out of the room.

He promised himself to come back and bury Luca and the other soldiers once he was done with the mission.

He adjusted the cap on his head to cover his face properly, then he walked out of the room.

Lucian went straight to Julie's door. He made a low knock on the door, and waited for her response.

He got no feedback from her after several knocks.

He then decide to confess over the door that he was Lucian.

He still got no reply from her.

He was impatient and didn't hesitate to knock the door open.

He was about to go in, when Damian's voice stormed at him, "What are you doing?" he questioned.

Lucian paused while he lowered his head.

He was thinking of what to say as he frozed and looked for possible ways to escape the scenery.

"What are you doing?" Damian asked again when he came closer.

Lucian's eyes rallied around while he sorted out an excuse to give.

"She's not in her room!" Lucian alerted.

"What!" Damian stuttered and ran into the room.

His eyes looked around the room trying to detect if imdeed she wasn't inside.

He went further to check the bathroom at the corner of the room.

"Shit!" Damian exclaimed and stormed out as soon as he confirmed that Julie wasn't in the room.

He looked at the window and saw it was open.

"Damn it!" he yelled and stormed out of her room.

"Find her!" Damian commanded the soldier who happens to be Lucian.

"Yes sir" he said and turned back to leave immediately.

"Wait!" Damian suddenly said to him.

Lucian stopped without looking back at him.

"Yes!" he responded.

"Where is the other soldier?" Damian asked.

"Uh---He went search for her" Lucian replied.

"Well then, go join him search for her, and do not fail to find her" Damian ordered and walked out on him immediately.

Damian stormed down the hallway, his footsteps echoing off the walls as he made his way out of Julie's room. He had been looking for her everywhere, but she was nowhere to be found. He flung open the door to her room, expecting to see her lounging on the bed or studying at her desk. But the room was empty.

Damian's anger simmered just below the surface as he scanned the rooms, his eyes searching for any sign of Julie. It was as if she had vanished into thin air.

"Where is she?" Damian muttered to himself, his frustration growing by the second. He wouldn't have left her to go into her room on her own.

Damian's mind raced with possibilities. Had she snuck out through a secret way.

Him not knowing her whereabouts, was driving him crazy.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He would find Julie and have a talk with her about disobeying him. But for now, he needed to find her. Damian stalked down the stairs determined to track down the missing Julie.

He snapped his fingers and summoned the soldiers that were close by.

He ordered them to go and search for Julie.

A thought came to his mind to insert CCTV cameras

in the entire house, so he could see all the actions that were happening.

He went on to carry that action immediately.
