Break fast without Louis

Chapter 56: Breakfast without Louis 1

Kayla's pov

I stirred from my slumber, the bright morning sun pouring through the window and dancing across my eyelids. I squinted, trying to adjust to the light, and I sat up slowly. I was greeted by the sight of a new day, the promise of a fresh start. I looked out the window and saw the clouds lazily drifting by, the trees swaying in the breeze. I took a deep breath and felt the weight of the world lift off my shoulders. I was ready to take on whatever the day had in store for me.

As I got out of bed, I felt a sense of excitement in the air. I could feel the energy of a new day, the potential for adventure and discovery. I got dressed, putting on my favorite jeans and a cozy sweater. I brushed my hair, taking a moment to appreciate the simple pleasure of the act. I stood in front of the mirror, taking a moment to look myself in the eye. I felt a sense of self-confidence and self-love, and I smiled at my reflection.

As I made my way to my children's room, I could hear the sound of chatter and laughter coming from inside. I peeked my head in the door, and I saw my children surrounded by their nannies and maids. They were being dressed for breakfast, their little faces beaming with excitement. I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and joy at the sight of my children, the light of my life. I watched them, lost in their innocent happiness, and I felt a sense of fulfillment.

I opened the door widely, and as soon as they saw me, they ran towards me with the biggest smiles on their faces. They all gave me hugs and kisses, their little arms wrapping around me with all their might. I picked them up and held them close, feeling their tiny hearts beating against mine. I closed my eyes and took in the moment, savoring the feeling of pure joy and love. It was a feeling I would never forget.

"Good morning mama" Beck said

"Good morning mom" Jojo and Kevin chorused, a wide smile appeared on my face as I noticed that they looked very healthy and their skin was glowing

"How was your night my little angels" I said,

"Fine thank you mom" Kevin replied first

"It was fine mom but I kept thinking about our lessons today" Jojo replied

"Same, but I love my soft bed and so I slept without worrying about anything" Beck replied and I couldn't help but chuckle

I smiled at my children and said, "I'm going to head downstairs now, but I'll see you for breakfast in a little bit." They nodded, their little faces glowing with excitement. I turned to their nanny, and I said, "Please bring them downstairs when they're ready,." The nanny nodded and said, "Of course, ma'am. I will take good care of them." I felt a sense of relief, knowing that my children were in good hands.

I took a deep breath and slowly closed the door behind me. I started down the hall, my footsteps echoing off the walls. The hallway was long and narrow, and the wood floors were polished to a gleaming shine. The walls were covered in rich, dark wood paneling, and the paintings that hung on them were old and ornate. I felt like I was walking through a castle, and I took in the grandeur of my surroundings. Then, I reached the staircase and started to descend.

I walked down the stairs, each step creaking slightly under my weight. The staircase was made of dark, polished wood, and the banister was intricately carved. The light from the windows at the bottom of the stairs filtered through the space, casting long, beautiful shadows on the wall. I felt like I was stepping back in time as I descended, the history of the house palpable in the air. When I reached the bottom, I took a moment to collect myself before continuing on.

I exited the stairwell and entered the grand foyer. The room was massive, with vaulted ceilings and a chandelier that sparkled in the sunlight. The walls were covered in tapestries, and the floor was tiled with intricate designs. The whole room was grand and imposing, but it also felt warm and welcoming. I took a deep breath, the scent of wood polish and lavender filling my senses. Then, I made my way to the dining room, eager for breakfast.

As I made my way to the dining room, I found myself looking around in a way I never had before. I had been so caught in making sure that my children were living a good life that I had never really taken the time to appreciate the beauty of the house I lived in. I was surprised by how much I had been missing. The intricate details of the architecture, the way the sunlight played off the woodwork, the way the colors of the tapestries seemed to dance in the light. It was as if I was seeing the house for the first time.

Just as I reached the dining room, I heard the pitter-patter of little feet coming down the stairs. I turned around, and I saw my children running towards me, their arms outstretched. I bent down to meet them, and they crashed into me with full force. I hugged them close, their giggles filling the air. I looked at their faces, their eyes shining with joy. I felt so lucky to have them in my life, and I knew that this was where I belonged.

Iily came into the dining room, her hair neatly pulled back and her clothes impeccably pressed. She gave me a smile, and I felt a wave of happiness wash over me. She sat down at the table, and I took my seat next to her. The children climbed into their chairs. The butler came in, carrying a tray laden with food, and the smell of breakfast filled the air. It was a perfect morning, and I felt so blessed to be able to share it with my family but Louis wasn't here
