Alpha's Revenge

“What kind of things? Did someone hurt you?” A tear left her right eye and slowly rolled down her cheek.

“Ramsey has those rogue wolves working and living within our pack. They destroy the rooms and any other surface they can find and we have to clean up behind them. Of course that upset all of us, but we’re Omegas and under Ramsey’s leadership we are deemed as trash basically. He believes in ranked members being superior to other members, yet those rogues hold no ranks or positions legally because Reigna is still living and she didn’t allow him to become the official Alpha of the pack. As you know, it requires her blood for the ritual but she has to willingly give it, well he tried to just take it from her but of course that didn’t work. They were all given orders to never touch her though so their anger and whatever else was taken out on the rest of us. Well, the Omegas anyway. He left the mated pairs alone for the most part, but the unmated she-wolves and the Omega she-wolves are the main ones suffering there.”

“What do you mean they’d take their anger out on you and why are they angry?” I asked with my own anger starting to radiate from my body. I take a couple of deep breaths to calm myself so that she can continue with her story.

“The rogues are upset because they haven’t been fully paid. You see, Ramsey told them that they would get part of the payment before the takeover and the rest after because he believed he would have access to the packs’ funds as well as the companies.”

“But with Reigna’s father being the great business man that he was, he made sure that no matter what the companies and funds could only be handled by Reigna. I remember them both going over those contracts as well as her parents’ wills on different occasions. What’s weird to me is that Ramsey was the Beta and he knew nothing about the contracts because if he had then I’m sure he would not have gone through this whole plan to takeover.”

“Yeah, and that made him angrier every time she refused him. He got over the Alpha title for a while, until he received notice that the Lycan King was coming to visit. He should be there by now actually. Anyway, to answer your questions, whenever Reigna wouldn’t give in and give him the control of the companies, he would find an Omega to beat on or release his sexual tensions on. I don’t know if he gave those rogues permission, but they took his lead and if we ignored them and protested their advances, they just started taking us. Many of us have been raped multiple times by them. Reigna never knew until before we ran away. Reigna has been beaten as well for stepping in and stopping the Beta from hurting one of us or even if he just raised his voice to us. After the first few incidents, he made a silver sock collar for her. It started with silver shackles but she couldn’t move as well with those and do her chores according to him.”

When she finished talking, there were a few stray tears falling from her eyes, and I took one of the napkins and gently cleaned them from her face before taking both of her hands in mine. She looked up at me with those big, round brown eyes of hers and I felt something pulling me towards her even more, and I am sure now that she is my mate. My wolf is howling in my head and telling me that he likes her and senses that she is a good person.

“I promise you Ally, nobody will ever put their hands on you again unless they want to die. Your days of being beaten, raped, and scared are over. Reigna and I will do everything we can to protect you.”

“Reigna will definitely do that, but why you? I don’t mean to seem ungrateful or anything, but why would you want to protect me? You aren’t our Gamma anymore and will more than likely go back to your new pack. You already said you don’t know if you’ll be rejoining our pack.”

“If I’m honest, I don’t know why. There’s just this feeling inside of me telling me that’s what I’m supposed to do. Besides, I owe it to Reigna and her parents to keep the members safe. I couldn’t help them, but I can help her for however long she needs me.” She gives me a small smile and I smile back at her.

Looking at the clock on the wall of the diner, I see that we’ve been here far longer than we should have and I tell her that it’s time to go. We both get up and I hold the bag with Reigna’s breakfast as we walk outside and head back to the hotel. The plan was to get us a ride and then head back, but something told me that we needed to get back to the hotel room fast. Within fifteen minutes we are back to the hotel and I pick up the scent of other wolves though it is faint. I also pick up Reigna’s scent and that makes me more alert because th e scent is faint as well. “She wouldn’t have left without us, would she?” I ask myself.
