CHAPTER 80

She watched as the room fell into a bout of silence and she didn't know what to expect from them. They were both silent for the longest moment before she watched as Charlie cleared his throat and he looked towards her with a small smile on his face.

"Well it is for a fact that you wouldn't have done that on purpose and even so we have all done things that we are not proud of you can't allow that to get to you or to take control of you”. He said to her and she nodded her head at him in response. But she could sense that there was a type of hidden meaning behind his words and she couldn't help but wonder what it was that he was hiding from her.

“What is it?” She asked him and she watched as he let out a sigh from his lips as he shrugged his shoulders at her in response. “There was a time in my own pack where I was in charge of being the guard for the border. It was on my shift and I had been exhausted that day and so I decided that I would take a small nap. I had convinced myself that a nap wouldn't hurt anyone and that was the worst that could possibly happen. But once I closed my eyes it assumed as though everything seemed to happen so fast after that. Once I was able to open them up again the pack was on fire and they had been attacked by rogues. I lost my sister and isad banished here.” He said to her and she couldn't help but feel her heart ache for him at his words.

“So you see all of us have a past that we would rather not talk about. We can't allow ourselves to dwell on it though and so now what we must do is to focus on the light. We have what it takes to put a stop to this magic. You have seen the bad side of your magic and now it is time for you to work toward tapping into the positive. I know that you find it hard to believe in yourself but you have to know that I do believe that you can go through with it.” He said to her.

She couldn't help but smile at his words. He was kind to her and he was now one of the few people that she knew that she could count on. She shook her head briefly at the thought. “Let's do this. I Am done playing around now and it is time for me to take proper action. I will no longer allow myself to continue to live in fear.” She said to him and she watched as they both plastered smiles on their faces.

She felt her body cibrate as she closed her eyes. "Now remember what Lousia said. You have to focus on the light and try to use it and not the darkness. Think about the darkest parties of you being pulled up into a ball and then think about having them disappear before your very eyes.`` She heard Alex say.

She sighed as she nodded her head and she took a moment for her to focus. She felt her body hum sith energy as they thought about all the pain she had gone through. She thought about the explosion that had killed her parents. About her having to move. About the luna and how kind she was to her.

She then also remembered the fact that she had tried to help her to be able to get access to her magic and how it had ended up turning out in the end. She also remembered how she had felt brotken after that. But she had tried to move on.

And then there was luther. How he had been the one person who had been there for her. How he had helped but then he had let her go. He had made a fool of her and then to make it worse he had rejected her. She had never thought that she would be able to feel that much pain in her chest.

She felt her body begin to shuffer ad her entire body vibrated at the very thought. She sucked in a deep breath as she took a moment to open her eyes and she heard a gasp as she found her body surrounded by a dark glow. They looked towards her with their eyes wide open as she couldn't help but see their fear.

She tried to tone down her powers as she watched it surround her but dhe felt uncomfortable. “Okay now you ned to take it in.” She heard Alex say. She closed her eyes and tried to control it but she had no hold of it. She couldn't help but feel her body panic instantly as she heard him let out a loud cry from his lips. She felt a sense of fear come over her at the feeling as she was overcome by a sudden sense of deja vu.

She watched Alex’s body lifted into the air and the fear was clear in his eyes. “You have to stop this. I know that you are strong." She heard Charlie call out but his voice seemed to fade away.

"I can't.” She cried out as she couldn't help but feel helpless. This couldn't happen to her again. She wouldn't have to experience this once more.

“You can. We are here for you. It us time for you to let go.” He called out. She let out a sigh as she tried to focus again. She thought of the positives and all the good that had happened. The friends that she had made and she felt warmth surrounding her.

She watched as the darkness suddenly dissipated from his body returning to her. She watched as Alex staggered to his feet as he gave her a small smile. “You did it.”
