13\. Getting rid of the ex-girlfriend.
Damien was impatiently waiting for her to open the door while Brian continuously rang the bell but she wouldn't open.
"How about I break it open?" he said, piqued.
His Beta shook his head left and right as he eyed him, "If you want to see a big controversial article dedicated to you in tomorrow's newspapers then go ahead. Don't forget that you are not single anymore."
Damien agreed to his words and kept quiet. Aura and he have not confessed their feelings but they were bound in a relationship.
"It is because of Aura why I am here." he heaved. "I want to end Ginny's chapter in my life before starting afresh with my darling."
Slumping against the wall at his back, he watched Brian ring the bell again. He buzzed it frequently as Ginny was not responding. He gnashed his jaw and pressed the button like crazy.
"Just a second," Her voice replied from the other side of the portal and Damien's back steeled.
Hunter, his wolf, prompted him to stay calm and not do anything stupid that would worsen the things. He told him to think about Aura and behave pleasantly with her. Damien's reaction was, 'I will try.'
However, just when she unlatched the door and took a furtive look at them with a grin forced on her lips, "Damien?" anger rushed in his veins.
He stepped inside her apartment avoiding getting angry as he observed her from head to toe.
"You were severely injured, weren't you?" In spite of promising Hunter, he went off course and scoffed at her.
"Damien darling, I just thought you deserve to know about my accident."
"And why do you think like that?" Alpha raised his eyebrow.
Ginny gulped her saliva at the sight of his irritated looks.
"We were a darling couple, so…" She played with her finger, feeling dreaded.
'Come on, darling lover and you two!' Hunter chuckled.
"Did you forget our break up?" Alpha Damien said, arcing his brow.
She bobbed her head negatively and clucked her tongue.
"Then why are you doing this, Ginny?" He asked.
She watched back over her shoulder as a noise came from inside her room. Shiver coursed through her, she chewed her lips nervously as she scratched over her arm sling. It was as if she was hiding someone in her room and fretted to let anyone know.
"I was lonely, I couldn't think of anything else other than you. You have been so sweet as a boyfriend. And these injuries, they hurt bad" She said, making him roll his pupils.
"You have my best wishes, and to provide you with some comfort, I've got a present for you." Damien looked at Brian as he pulled out an envelope from his coat.
"What's this, babe?" She excitedly took it from his beta's hand and opened it.
As she unfolded the letter and read its content, alpha smirked observing her greedy eyes, "An alpha friend of mine is looking for a brand ambassador for his new product so I recommended your name and sent him some of your pictures. He liked them."
"Alpha knox, h-he is the owner of the well-known fashion brand, Attire. Did he really—"
"Mmhmm, he sure did. He's gone crazy over your catalogue and wants to meet you as soon as possible."
"Oh Damien, thank you so much." She put her hands around his neck and hugged him tight.
"Enjoy your life, upgrade your modelling career and please forget me." the kickass alpha murmured near her ear while Brian smirked behind him.
It was his idea. Getting away from women like Ginny is difficult, it is only an expensive and invaluable gift that can drive them away. So he adopted his beta's idea and made arrangements with his alpha friend from Russia. Now she will go to Russia for her dream project and Damien in Aura's arms.
"Thank you, Damy. This is the best gift I can ever get." She squealed in happiness and kissed the letter.
"You have a meeting with him scheduled next month, be ready." She confidently smiled and nodded.
"And we hope you'll forget him after this." Brian remarked.
She twisted her lips huffing in anger, Beta Brian and her never liked each other. It was him Ginny first attempted to woo before alpha. So he knows what her true intentions are.
"We broke up long ago, we are best friends now. Just best friends." She conveyed sarcastically and the alpha snickered.
"Feels good to hear. Well, Good luck with your project, Ms. Ginny." Ginny waved her hand at his fake wishes. "If you are done, Damien, let's get going. Hope you remember your important meeting. You know who is waiting for you." he added.
Damien's eyebrows shrunk, he don't remember having any meetings When he spared beta an interrogative glance, he looked him in the eye with his pupils widening, " Alpha Damien, you left an important meeting unfinished, you remember." he glared Damien as he tried to make him recall about Aurora and their conversation.
"Oh yeah, the unfinished meeting. I get it." Damien acknowledged with a nervous smile. "Please let's get going," he said, turning to Ginny.
She tried to kiss him but he backed away. "Okay then, bye and take care."
"Bye, my alpha's best friend!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."
The alpha chuckled over his beta's remark as they exited her room.
Ginny ran to the window, sided the netted curtains as she waited to see them walk out. She saw them get in the car and drive away and sighed in relief.
Peter also came out and hugged her from behind. He nuzzled her neck and she stood there like a statue.
"What happened baby? Why are you so shocked." He questioned, undoing her dress again.
His boner poked her in the back, she hit him with her elbow as she hissed, "You almost killed me today, you idiot."
"I am sorry I was going through your beauty products and dropped some." He scratched his nape.
"Idiot, Damien had caught us almost. I am glad he ignored it." She happily said.
"By the way, look at this," She waved the letter. "It's an offer letter from Attire, Alpha Knox's famous fashion brand. Peter, I am gonna pose as their brand ambassador, I am so excited."
Peter chuckled, his digits went down until her clit and cupped it, "That's great news. Let us celebrate it with another round of sex." he picked her up and took her to bed while kissing her hungrily.
In the meanwhile, back in the car, Alpha Damien and Brian gawked at each other as they burst into laughter.
"She's a clever woman, I am telling you." Brian said.
"I couldn't agree more." They recollected the bits of their meeting with Ginny and laughed over it.
