He waited a bit. Then he laughed out loud.
“Fine!” jax answered, like that was what he had expected and his wishes had come to pass.
“If he wants to take her at least I have once told you to let go of that omega.”
“Let him come and take her,” he said raising his arms in the air, like he does not care,
Why would you say such a thing?” I muttered. “Since lyra had gone into this palace haven't you seen her impact.”
“I didn't see anything," Jax quickly cut-in and, " don't try to feed me with that garbage!”
I quickly fired back, “Oh! Goodness Jax, why are you so ungrateful?
“Ungrateful for what? For setting my pack free from the shackles of the evil bedeviling my pack? For bringing stormfang to where it was in the comity of pack. Smaller packs now look at us as creepy things. Please stop Rosa, you are only defending her because she saved your life…”
Was that Lyra's fault?
“How I wish,” Jax spat, “how I wish Alpha Vexhood could hear us now… he paused a bit, how I wish he could just disappear into this room and instruct you to go bring out the madness you employed without my consent?”
“How I wish Alpha Vexhood would just take her and strike her with his totem.”
Jax jammed his teeth together, vein creased on his forehead.
“Why do you hate her so much? Has Lyra committed any evil against you? Mila is supposed to be the one to hate, not the one that meant well for you.” I questioned.
No,” jax quickly interrupted, "Lyra's face anytime I set my eyes on her, always remind me of Mila, I always felt that bittersweet experience about her sometimes my heart long for her touch but sometimes I felt intense hatred for everything Mila had done, upon how much I loved your sister, how I gave her so much of me, she went ahead to do such evil against me, against my throne. She brought the wrath of the gods against the pack?”
I paused a bit. Anger brewed within me like a raged thunderstorm.
That he is still thinking about that disgusting Mila, is a point of concern. Mila is past and let it remain as past.
I grin, “but Lyra wasn't like that, she loved the pack, she single handedly saved the pack.
Jax quickly added, “I just wish Alpha Vexhood would do the needful and take both of you to his shrine and sacrifice both of you to Asheteroth.”
“Is that your wish?” I questioned, wrapping up my hands.

I looked around in fear, probably if Alpha Vexhood had not found his way back into the room.

“We didn't see lyra. We searched everywhere. I personally went to her room to her quarters. I didn't see her. I came back into my room. Alpha Vexhood was filled with anger. He instructed me to bring her today?”

To shock everyone, Lyra came into my living room after I searched everywhere. She told me she was in her room reading, but I got into the room. I didn't see her.”

“She came back here to pick up a book.”
She came back to do what?” Jax was curious, “Wait, didn't you ask her where she had been?”
“She claimed that she had been in her room and reading all this while?”
“That's weird,” Jax pointed out, “but go and deliver her to Alpha Vexhood like a slave escaping from his master's house . I hate to see any form of blood bath in the palace if Alpha Jax shows up here.”
Jax matched out of the room. I knew he meant every single part of that statement.
I retracted back to the edge of the chair. The challenge in front of me is bigger than I could imagine.
I know that I like lyra but i can't also discount the fact that she is weird. But she saved my life and has a lot of prospects which I couldn't place for now.
But I can't also discount the fact that I am scared of alpha Vexhood. Someone who could appear into this room now and demand for my breath, due to the fact I had failed to yield to his command of bringing lyra.
Infact, no one needs to tell me that I am indeed a walking dead.
