Chapter 43 Lyra Shows Up Again.

Chapter 43 Lyra Shows Up Again.
Chapter 43

Lyra's POV.

Healer Firkley brow quickly shot up. He looked at me carefully from my pair of black sandals, gradually to my brown skirt and landed on my face.

I know exactly what he was thinking. I could see the questions forming in his mind before he even opened his mouth.

Questions like:

What is this?

What right does she have to me, a trained healer, how to do my job?

Especially when an important personality’s life like the Luna of stormfang pack is at stake?

I couldn't blame him either, any good healer should ask such a question? Like the healing academy I attended, my training scroll, the authority I command.

But he never did. Instead, his mouth stays closed and his eyes do the studying. Searching.

I drew in breath, took my time. Spoke slowly, clearer and with authority.

“ That is a wrong approach,” I pointed to Rosa's face that had quickly turned greyish between the shortest period of time. “ You are calming her body but her mind is trapped somewhere else, and painfully it is outside this realm.”

The words hung in the air like smoke.

Caramel, who had stepped out but came back quickly into the room due to the forth and back between alpha Jax and the nurse earlier, looked at me like I was drunk.

I watched Alpha Jax's Adam apple bobbed up and down as he tried to swallow. Shock painted on his face. I could tell that he wanted to talk but he couldn't, his lips parted and his eyes widened like a ghost had just walked into the room.

I knew in his mind he would be thinking what kind of trick this omega is trying to pull this time around.

She literally saved me from being poisoned like a rat just roughly a day ago. What magic does she want to perform here again?

The room shifted. Everyone's attention shifted to me from the alpha Jax, to the nurses, to caramel and one or two passers-by strolling down the hallway who had seen what was going on in the room when the door was completely opened.

I moved closer to Rosa's bed whose eyelids had fluttered showing only the whitish part of her eyes.

All eyes bounced between me and Rosa's almost lifeless body waiting for the magic I wanted to pull.

I reached for her hand, pressed two fingers against her wrist to feel her pulse.

Behind me leaned Healer Firkley and the nurses.

So what do I do?” He asked quietly. Sweat beaded on his forehead.

“Give her a mild lunaris mist inhalation. The vapor would help pull her consciousness back. Then give her fifteen milligrams of Silverleaf injection to steady the spiritual shock.”

I paused a bit. I kept my voice slow and steady. I made sure he was listening. Every instruction sank in.

“Keep the light in the room low and don't restrain her body. And most importantly,” I turned to him. “Leave her to rest for a minimum of nine hours. There should be no interruption.”

The healer blinked, “mild lunaris and Silverleaf injection together…” he paused a bit looking into my face, “are sure it will work?”

Yes it will,” I said plainly, " if you could do it now.”

That was the healer Firkley needed. He swiftly turned to the nurses,

“I hope you heard right!” His voice boomed in the room. Prepare mild lunaris mist, not concentrated, and fetch me fifteen milligrams of Silverleaf for injection! Move now!”

He gave the fast and swift.

I didn't wait one more minute, I stepped out of the room.

Jax couldn't close his mouth as I stepped out. He traced his head watching my back as excused them.

Caramel too couldn't keep up with what had just happened. I could hear her a few steps after I had stepped out, she countered alpha jax. Caramel didn't even care if he was an alpha of a prominent pack, stormfang pack.

“I told you to keep it calm with this omega but you insist instead, you come up with a statement like , "I don't want to see this weak omega besides me,” Caramel uttered abusively, she raised her voice in the clinic not minding anyone watching or listening to them. “Did you see how she literally saved the life of your Luna, and of course my friend? You would have been without a mate. An alpha king without a luna… How awful that would have been?

Caramel who had continued raking, until alpha Jax couldn't bear it again.

“Enough! Caramel…”

I could hear their dis
tance argument. As I walked out of the clinic I tugged in a smile at the corner of my lips.
