“I asked her to come downstairs after Piper finishes her breakfast, Alpha Damon!” Emma reported.

“Okay! Are you sure Piper ate her breakfast this time?”

“Yes, Sir, since I said, that is a condition she must fulfill to meet her brother.”

"Good work."

Emma is a Gamma descendant, the daughter of one of the Scout division soldiers. Previously, she worked in the pack in the northern border surveillance position. I brought her here as my maid since so many humans also work with me in this mansion.

“Alpha Damon, I just want to say that Piper’s reaction is very normal for now. She is only human, and her fear makes her mind uncontrollable toward you.”

Raising my eyebrows, Emma realized my reaction to this. I didn't mean to belittle her opinion. It wasn't without reason that I let Emma be specifically by Piper's side.

Emma took a deep breath. She probably had no more words to reply to my questions. As she smiled, she left.

A few minutes later, Luther came with Johan. I had locked Johan up in my villa all this time. I had to hold him back, wanting Piper to remain obedient. That was because, at first, Piper was so obedient to me.

Lately, however, this girl has become very difficult to handle, especially since she found out the truth about me.

“I didn’t expect you to bring me back to this mansion, Sir!” Johan said. He pursed his lips, smiling arrogantly. Even though I had beaten him, only a few light blows according to his position as a human.

But everything I did didn't have much of a deterrent effect on him.

“I will lock you up here from now on! But, if you want to roam free, it seems like you need to consult with your sister,” I said.

Johan squeaked. He was sitting in front of me now. Luther was in the corner of the room, enjoying his cigarette. However, his eyes were watching the situation closely.

“Didn’t you marry my sister if she knew you treated me like this? Piper wouldn’t be happy. You should respect my sister as your wife; she is the mistress of this mansion,” he said

Look at how arrogant he is. Before, he was quite a good servant at his job. I even wanted to make him the butler of the right-wing of my mansion.

“Excuse me, sir, I’m already here,” Piper’s voice made me jump.

She appeared in her knee-length floral dress. Her body became thinner than usual, her makeup was light, and her hair was loose. My wolf muttered I don't understand. For some reason, my heart's throbbing couldn't hold me back.

“Johan!” Piper ran towards her brother. She hugged Johan so tightly, burying her face in Johan’s shoulder.

I feel jealous of that; Piper should also feel comfortable with me. Not like now, Piper screams all the time. It's disgusting for me to see.

“Thirty minutes, you can talk to your brother. I will come back and tell you what to do next,” I said.

“Thanks, sir!” Piper said stiffly. Her tone was filled with reluctance as if I had taken all that freedom away from her.

Luther was in this room, away from them but still watching them for me. My footsteps were heading towards Karin's room. She said she had some things she needed to talk to me about. That was two days ago, but I only had time now to meet her.

“Alpha Damon? Wait a minute, I’ll finish my notes and meet you in the park,” Karin said.

I sat in the park behind Karin's clinic. A river was flowing, forming a pool at the end. This place was beautiful, and I heard that Piper used to come here to calm herself.

“Alpha Damon, look at this!” Karin handed me a sheet of paper. I paid for Karin’s medical school. She could have served in a human hospital like she did when she interned there, but her preference for controlling the healing group in the pack was also strong enough.

I never forbade Karin in her career, but she with her choice. Karin has a past, and only my parents saved her life at that time. A pretty dark story for her until it made her like she is today.

“Is this Piper’s lab report?”

“Yes, Alpha!”

I stayed where I was, feeling my wolf energy flowing warmly after knowing this truth.

“How is that possible? Just suddenly with….”

“Since you decided to mark Piper! She was meant to be in this position from the start. Her womb is perfect to bear your Son. There are two matches I found for your offspring.”

“Two matches?”

“Possibly, you will have twin sons or three sons with a gap of a year or two years between them.”

Swallowing my saliva roughly, “Karin, I swear what you said is not funny; prove it! I need you to prove what you said now!” I ordered.
