Chapter Seventy Three: Violence Is Not Always The Answer.

Alpha Xavier’s POV

I just want to find out the right information about her so that I will be able to deal with her the right way incase she was going to bring trouble to my pack.

“If she was trouble then why did you leave her until now?”

Coward, you just don’t want to say it.

I’ve already said it, she came in as a spy after all for the rogues, but we still end up winning.

“The. Does that mean she was not a spy after all?”

“Her story seemed to be believable, maybe she’s just looking for a place to belong and I had misjudged her from the beginning”

I was having a real battle with my inner Wolfe as he blamed me for misjudging her when I heard someone talking to me.

“Huh!”

I noticed that she had already unrolled my sleeves and even packed her medical tools inside her kit and was looking at me with keen attention.

“What are you thinking of? I said you are fine and all you need to do is to take lime water or milk go get rid of the hangover that you might be feeling”

I nodded at her and sent her off, then I went to get the lemon juice that she had asked me to drink.

“Wow Xavier, you were here drinking last night while your boys had to train even in the night, very epic Alpha”

It was Jason’s voice that rang in my ear the next minute, I came out and saw him standing close to the bottle of alcohol that we had drank last night, I didn’t get a chance to dispose of them when I woke up.

“Ah Jason, it’s not like that, I had a guest that really needed it”. I tried to find that most reasonable excuse that came to mind.

“Really? And might I know if this guest of yours is a male or female?”

“What are you saying Beta?” I shot him a warning look indicating that he should choose his words wisely or it will be his fault whatever happens to him.

“Am just curious if we’ll be having a new Luna anytime soon man, that’s just it”

Although he did say it, he raised his hands in surrender meaning he was not going to push the matter any further but still wanted to say his mind.

I ignored him and packed the bottles to the recycle bin, when I came back again, he was already sitting on the cushion and had a serious look on his face.

“Tell me Beta, what is it?” I when I call him Beta, it is then a serious case and he looked serious enough for the name.

“The Rugged, there’s rumors that they were going to attack the person who killed their leader, I think they can only dare to do that because they probably don’t know us, we shouldn’t slack any moment, I suggest we go out as soon as possible and wipe away their generations already and take over what we have to take for ourselves”

It’s true that it’s been a long time since we have attacked their leader the rogue Lord and killed him, the people must be anxious that we will come back to attack them so they want to attack first, if they succeed to get a good leader, they might do more harm than good.

His logic was the best, legally they belonged to us now, the sooner we lay our claims, the better it would be for us, the neighboring packs would fear us and the remaining packs would bow down to us, then her words wouldn’t come true.

Since the elders had already given us permission, then there is no point delaying it any further.

“Beta, when should we go?”

“As soon as possible, I suggest we go to tonight”

Tonight was the soonest time possible, we have put it aside for so long and have trained enough incase of surprises and ears so I agreed.

“Gather all the warriors to the center let’s deliberate on how to do it then, I’ll just shower and join you guys”

“Sure Alpha”

I really thank the goddess for the Beta she had given me, he makes my work very easy, sometimes, I don’t need to concern myself with the community when he’s around, if I never get to beat a heir one day, I’ll let his son rule the pack, I know he’ll guide him.

After an hour, all the warriors were gathered as mentioned earlier and we planned how to go about the attack, from what I’ve been asking them, they were so eager to go to war and were excited to take the violent path.

“What is we attacked them from behind?”

“What if we attack them from behind?”

“Or we start bumping their dwelling place first?”

“Let’s sneak on them and Jill them slowly”

I looked my packs with awe in my eyes, where their minds only filled with violence? Not even one of them mentioned a peaceful resort in doing it, we have already killed their Lord and I assume that he was with their best warriors at that time meaning that we have succeeded in eliminating their best defense, it would be too cruel even for us to just slaughter them baselessly.

“Alright I have heard you all and have already thought about it, but we will use violence…”

“Yeah!”

They started shouting in celebration without letting me finish, Haha werewolves!

“Only when all the other means we’re futile okay? We will try talking with them first in a civilized manner, violence or conflicts are not always the answer”

What if we change the opinions of our Allie’s about us and no one dared to be partners with us again? No it’s not really worth it that much.

I finished my sentence in a loud voice and the place became quiet.

“If we will not fight, then why even bother train?”

Someone dared to whisper from after, but since the room was so quiet, we all heard it.

“Consider it as an exercise Cody, you need to train for when we actually need to use violence okay? My word is final, now let’s go”.

I lead the way and they all followed me.
