Fifty eight

Alpha King's Sex Slave

Alpha Hades POV

Dead.

So I thought until a few months back my body began to fight back the poisonous dagger he used on my ribs. I underestimated him. I thought he has some good even a little but the devil in him supersedes my beliefs.

I feel my distraction instead of my focus and get rewarded with anarchy. My guards were down because of her, she was the reason I lost my senses revealing in her essence.

I crawled out from the pit I was left abandoned to die to a plain valley. My wolf got weak from the poison and the processing to heal was a slow but tragic ordeal.

Days went by and even months calculated by the rise of the sun and the fall of the night sky. Some days I thought of myself to be dead only to awaken with life coursing in my bones with the slow growls of my Wolf signalling his existence that I haven't fully lost him.

I fought the despair, the pain and most of it death. Months later the poison got subdued and the wounds began to start its normal healing process. At first I was termed to die by the dangerous substance in his dagger.

Asrian plotted craftly that I don't make it out alive.

The wounds healed within months. I was thankful to emerge alive to prove him wrong and take back what's mine.

The kingdom will be left under his myopic rule, it would suffer so much under his hands and everyone will bleed from his cuts.

Talitha.

That woman gave me the strength to fight, my pains, my hope for the birth of my heir, the urge to cradle it's in my arms and look into it eyes whether male or female I'll gladly accept no gender discrimination.

I stopped at the gates of the the kingdom and the sheer terror was in the air. The flags had a skull covered in red signifying blood and the soldiers were changed to mean looking hostile men. The breath and gasp of despair and sorrow flagged the air that almost got me infuriated. People were back at the gates begging for alms in the big wooden bowls, Asrian didn't waste time going back to father's old ways. The cloak I wore disguised me so well they had no idea who walked past them.

The gate has two soldiers guarding it with whips on their hands and swords lying in their sheaths. I stopped at the gate at the interrogation unit.

“What brings you here old man?”

“I am a poor trash collector.” I answered with a weak trail voice trying to mask the voice of my youth. The old man sham needed not be in dresses but in actions too as I held on to my walking stick shivering with a bent face.

“Do you have a pass from the king?”

“Y-es I do, it's festival season and lots of garbage will be packed.”

“Get in.”

The huge wood blocking passage was removed and I came through. The next few minutes heading to the Castle has my blood boiling with unexplainable feeling. Asrian committed a sacrilege, stamping a lowland flag on the soil of Arni which has never been done before.

The door leading to the Castle was blocked due to reasons unknown to me so I used the kitchen path which wasn't far from the dungeon. I heard her voice, loud and clear. I almost jumped out of my skin glad she ain't dead and still alive but my joy was bittersweet as I depicted the hurt and sorrow in her voice.

If things were going fine, why does she have to be in the dungeon? A distant echo of a make voice puts me off that things weren't okay. Of course, why would it be okay? Asrian being king is a curse. Trying to kill his brother to get the throne is one of the sins unacceptable to mankind and in a short period of time, the people are back at the gates begging, hungry and malnourished.

I followed the map to the dungeon with my dagger tucked in the back of my waist hidden by my cloak made of pure sharp metal. I saw a guard with his sword lying on the weak side of his belt with no idea someone was coming guarding the cell doors I presume to contain my soldiers.

Asrian isn't stupid to use my soldiers for fear of treason and betrayals, reasons for the new faces he got them from the low lands. Disgust hit my face.

“Arrgh.” I sent the dagger into his chest forcing my fingers into his throat as he made a gurgling sound, his body fighting the cold hands of death as I choked him harder till his eyes went into his head.

Breaking the cell doors of my soldiers locked up to die.The look of surprise in their faces to see me alive. They bowed as they saw me.

“Rise Arni. Rise for the motherland!” Ruckus broke out.

“Fight, reclaim our land and kill every traitor.” Anyone associated with him is my enemy and that means they're to be slain.

“Yes king.” They replied in unison.

I left the dungeon heading to Asrian. I swear not to spare him if he dares lay a finger on Talitha and my unborn child.

There was no guard at the cell door as I approached but the sound of hard pantings had blood rushing through my blood. He better not…

The scene of Talitha lying helplessly on the floor nude with tears streaming down her cheek, her hair sprawled apart and Asrian in-between her legs flagged my sight.

“Get away from her!” I dragged him by the neck flinging him to the wall as he crashed hitting the floor. His eyes grew big, widening with shock as he saw my form.

“That’s not true. How… How did you survive?” Asrian growled with a seethe drawing out his claws for a fight.

“I survived to prove you wrong. Who laughs last now?”

He came towards me to claw out my heart and with a strong elbow I decked his jaw sending me to the floor and shot silver into his veins.

His screams resounded in the air as he paled, turning into dust.

I crouched to the floor, my fingers itching to touch her but it froze at the sight of the little bump.

Emotions flooded.

“Talitha!” I hit her cheek but was rewarded with silence, her pulse was running cold. Tears welled up in my eyes at the sight of her filled with cuts and the stench of the cell like she hasn't had her bathe in years.

“What has that monster done to you?” I picked her from the floor into my arms and hurried out of the dungeon. My sides still hurt but nothing compared to the hurts the sight of her was giving.

“Asrian is out of our lives this time for good. No one would bother us again, no one.”
