I blinked my eyes lazily to get rid of the blurry vision and I couldn't help but frown.I realised that the space next to me was empty and cold, meaning Luciano had been gone for a while.

"Good afternoon, "I heard a familiar masculine voice.Heaving a sigh of relief,I turned my head towards the voice and Luciano smiled broadly at me. He was on his working table taking care of the paperwork.

I checked the clock and realised that indeed it was in the afternoon. I think I overslept because of the exhaustion. And the fact that Luciano didn't wake me up pissed me off big time.

"Why didn't you wake me up?"I complained and all that Luciano did was chuckle. He pushed the file that he was working on aside and walked to me on the bed.

He brushed hair strands from my face and tucked it behind my ear. His fingers were cold against my ear that it made me shiver.

"Why would I wake you up when you looked so beautiful while asleep?"Luciano said and I rolled my eyes at his words.

"Or…was there something that you were supposed to do?"He said and the corner of his lips curved into a wicked smile.Whatever he was talking about,I could tell that he was up to no good.

"Sebastian has already left the kingdom while you were sleeping. Lexa is still around with the twins, she will be staying for a few days to spend time with her family."Luciano informed me and I nodded in understanding.

I didn't have any issue with Lexa staying in Southern kingdom.She is very much welcomed and she can stay as long as she wants.Southern kingdom is going to be her second home because our parents are staying here.I can't deny her the chance to see her father.

"I need to freshen up to get back on track," I told Luciano and he nodded in understanding.

"I will be working on the paperwork as you freshen up.You can call me if you need some help.I'm only one call away,you know. "Luciano told me and smiled. Whatever help he was talking about…

He looked at me one last time then stood up from the edge of the bed and walked back to the working table and continued to work on whatever he was working at.

I lazily climbed down from the bed, picked a clean towel and headed to the bathroom.I turned on the shower and stood under the warm running water which caressed my skin soothingly,I heaved a deep sigh and closed my eyes to.

The bathroom door clicked open and I couldn't help but frown, "I have decided to join you in the shower to keep you company."My eyes swept over his naked body and I swallowed hard, holding back the desire that I had for him.

"I'm not going to do anything, I promise, "Luciano said and the corner of his lips curved into a smile.Even though he had assured me that he wasn't going to do anything, his eyes said otherwise because I could see the lust in them. I know he wanted me as much as I wanted him but he was just holding back.

He joined me in the shower and I giggled in excitement.Nothing felt good like taking a shower with Luciano.

"Allow me to help you out."Luciano told me abd took the sponge from my hand.I turned around to give him full access to my back.

Luciano scrubbed my back gently using the sponge,just applying the right amount of pressure.I closed my eyes to enjoy the moment but then he stopped all of a sudden.

"It seems like someone is enjoying my services so much."He leaned forward and whispered in my ear then nibbled on it. My body became aware of his closeness and I could feel his manhood poking my behinds.

I know he was doing this intentionally. I just knew that Luciano was a temptation the moment he appeared to the bathroom door naked.I knew things wouldn't end up good because we ended up doing some wicked things whenever we showered together.

I knew he wouldn't hold onto the promise that he had made to me.Whenever it came to being intimate,he always broke it.

"Come on, tell me to my face that you don't want me as much as I want you."He brushed the hair that was stuck on my neck gently with his fingers and inhaled my scent deep in his lungs.

I held my breath when I heard his words, then slowly turned around and raised my head to look at him in the eyes as the water fell on us under the shower.

Without saying a word, I tiptoed and connected our lips because words were not enough to explain to him how much I had missed him and how much I wanted him.

"Spoiled brat."He cursed in my head and kissed me back, passionately and hungrily. I ran my fingers through his wet hair and pulled him close to me.

Luciano pulled off from the heated kiss and rested his forehead on mine as he panted, trying to catch a breath.

"It's not safe here in the bathroom," Luciano said and I nodded in agreement.I know it can be slippery sometimes and that is dangerous since I'm pregnant.

Luciano lifted me from the ground and carried me in his arms then headed to our room. Even though he was carrying me in his arms, we couldn't stop kissing. He laid me on the soft bed, his lips shifted to my neck and I whimpered in pleasure.

He planted butterfly kisses downwards to my breasts and he sucked on it while kneading the other. Luciano teasingly pinched my hardened nipple and a moan escaped my lips.

"Don't worry,I will go easy on you. "He whispered in my ear,his voice deep and low. I was now sleeping on my sides.Before I could respond to his words, I felt him slide inside me slowly and I moaned, holding the sheets so tightly.

Luciano thrust in and out of me slowly as he sucked on my neck and one hand kneaded my breasts.

"You don't have any idea how much I have been longing to bury myself this deep inside you."He said in a low voice.The speed of his thrusts increased with each passing second and I felt that familiar feeling building up at the tip of my stomach.

"I will go to check on Lexa, Monalisa and my parents,"I informed Luciano and he was quiet, heaving a deep sigh, he nodded to my words and smiled.

"We are finalising the crowning ceremony plans. We have informed kings of other kingdoms, queens, princesses and princes to attend."Luciano explained to me and I nodded to his words, feeling excited about the whole ceremony idea.

I remembered the day prince Marcus was crowned king and I couldn't wait to see Luciano wearing the crown jewel too.I know it will suit him well and it will look good on his head too.

"I hope the security will be tight. I know being crowned a king of the Southern kingdom has been your dream.You have fight so hard for this Kingdom.Even though I have not been here for years,I know you gave your everything to build it."I paused to catch a breath and my lips curved into a smile. 

"I know you will be a good king to the people because you have brought equality between all races."I nodded to support my words.

"Lycans and Werewolves are free to mate without facing any consequences. And when you'll be crowned the king, you will get rid of slavery in the South.That is a great achievement and I know many will leave to remember you."Luciano smiled broadly when he heard my words.

"Thank you for always believing in me even when I didn't believe in myself."Luciano pulled me into a side embrace and planted a gentle kiss on my hair.

"I knew you were a good person from the start because you kept my identity a secret. You have always been a good person to me even when the world was against me."Tears flowed from my eyes.

"When I looked into your eyes for the first time when you were brought to the South as a captive and I realised that you were half-breed,I couldn't bring myself to harm you even if I wanted to, "Luciano confessed, looking me in the eyes and I couldn't help but smile at his words.

He wiped tears from my eyes using his bare hands.However,tears couldn't stop flowing because his words were making me more emotional.

"Thank you for coming into my life."Before I could even say anything, he locked our lips and kissed me so passionately.

"Luciano, we need to discuss something important."Hades voice echoed in my head and I heard Luciano groan in between the kiss.

"I'm afraid that I have to leave."Luciano said,"It's okay.I know it's something important that Hades would like the two of you to discuss.I know Hades too well,he wouldn't have called you if it's not that important."Luciano nodded,"You're right.I need to go and check what's that important thing that needs my attention."He planted a kiss on my forehead and I smiled, nodding at him.

Luciano headed to his office to talk to Hades. Since I didn't have any paperwork to work on, I headed straight to Lexa's room to check on her.

I smiled when I entered the room, my mother was helping out with the twins. Monalisa was sleeping on the couch and I could tell that her days close to delivery were not going easy on her.

"Your nephew can't stop crying,"Alexa complained, rocking the baby in her arms and singing a lullaby. She looked so tired and I could tell that she has been doing it for hours.

"I will help you calm the baby."I carefully took the twin boy from Lexa's arms, "What's wrong little boy? Don't you like it here in the South, huh?"I asked the little one, rocking her in my arms.

I rocked the baby boy in my arms for some time and he finally fell asleep.My hands felt sore but I smiled, embracing myself for what will happen to me too.I was just trying to get used to it.

I carefully laid Dean in the crib so that he wouldn't wake up and start crying all over again.The other twin was sleeping soundly sleeping in my mother's arms.The sight of it made me imagine my mother carrying my pups in her arms and I couldn't help it but smile.

"Where is grandpa?"I asked my mother when I realised that he wasn't around.

"Grandpa is helping the prince and his men to take care of some kingdom matters since they have a lot of things to handle."Mom explained to me.I was so happy to know that Luciano is involving Grandpa in the kingdom's plan.

I know Grandpa is old enough to guide Luciano on the right path. He was once the Alpha of his pack for years.I know he has so much experience that will help a lot.
