"You do look like your mom, Eliana," Tiara said as we looked at a photo of my mom. She was twelve in the picture. Her Purple eyes were bright, and she looked so happy as she held an ice cream cone in her hand

"I know," I replied

"And she has purple eyes just like you," Tiara said

"Yeah, that shocked me," I replied. I didn't tell her about the dream I had of my mom in the rose garden. I guess this proved that it was more than a dream

"You talk as if you never saw a photo of your mom before," Shelby said

"I haven't. I wasn't allowed to look at her pictures," I said

"What? Why?" Shelby asked

"Because Charles said I didn't deserve to see her since I was the one who murdered her," I replied

"That bastard. How dare he?" Shelby said

"I am so sorry you had to go through that. I hope you know that that is not true. You are not the reason your mom died. You were a baby," Papaw said

"I know that now, but when I was younger I thought it was my fault," I replied. Killian wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and I looked at him. I could feel through the bond that he was worried about me. .He hated seeing me sad. I smiled at him, letting him know that I was fine.

We stayed there longer than we planned to. About five hours later, we decided that we should leave

"I am so happy to meet you. Please come and visit us," Grandma Kay said

"I will," I replied. I hugged everyone, and then we got in the car to head to the school. As soon as we got to school, we headed to the mansion. I was happy to be back at school so that I could finish my studies. As soon as we got to the mansion, I could see Lilian standing there. Two werewolf guards were blocking her from getting on the property.

"What is she doing here?" Killian asked. He had wanted to punish her after the kidnapping, but I talked him out of it. I was sure that she wasn't involved.

"I don't know," I said, and we got out of the car

"Eliana, there you are. I need to talk to you. It is important," Lilian said, and Killian looked at me

"It's up to you," Killian said

"Let her come in. I want to hear what she has to say," I replied, and we headed into the house and sat in the living room

"What do you want to say?" I asked

"First, I want to apologize for everything," Lilian said

"You already did. There is no reason for you to do it again. What else do you have to say?" I asked

"It's about Ashley. I know that you think she is your friend, but she isn't. I am not lying, Eliana. She helped with your kidnapping," Lilian said

"Why would she do that?" I asked

"Because she is in love with Killian. She is upset that you are his fated mate. She didn't want you to complete the bond. Killian knows I am telling the truth. He knows she likes him. Right Killian? You know that she has been in love with you," Lilian said, and Killian looked at me

"Okay, thanks for the information, Lilian. You should leave," I said

"Fine. I will go, but I am warning you, Eliana. Ashley is not to be trusted. She is in love with Killian, and I have a feeling that she would do anything to become his mate, even if that means getting rid of you," Lilian said, and she left

"I think she might be right," Killian said once Lilian was gone

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I always knew that Ashley was in love with me. I always warned her that nothing would come out of our relationship. All I wanted was.... You know..."

"Sex," I said

"Yes, it makes me feel sick to my stomach thinking about it," Killian said

"What? Using them for your own sexual pleasure makes you feel sick now, but it didn't in the past," I said. I didn't mean to sound so angry, but just thinking about how many women he fucked in the past pissed me off. He was mine, but he had been with so many females. "I didn't mean to sound angry, Killian. It's just hard thinking about you with someone else," I replied

"None of them meant anything to me. You are the only one that matters. The only one I ever loved. You are the only one I will be with for the rest of my life. I am yours just like you are mine," Killian said as he hugged me. I hugged him back without hesitation, letting his touch calm my nerves

"I don't want to accuse Ashley of working with Vera until I am one hundred percent sure," I said

"Fine, then we have to figure out soon if she was involved. If she was, then she will pay severely," Killian said

"I know," I replied

I hated thinking that Ashley was a part of my kidnapping. I wanted to believe that there was no way she would do that. But deep down I knew that she did.
