Eliana's Point of View

"Are you sure you want to go to this party, Eliana? Maybe we should just stay in and have a girls' night out," Tiara said

"Yeah, I am sure. Ashley is right. I should get to know the werewolves," I replied. We had just finished getting dressed for the party. I was wearing a blue sundress, and Tiara had on a red sundress, while Ashley was wearing a pink dress. My hair was in a high ponytail, and Tiara had hers hanging loose. Ashley's hair was hanging loose with spiral curls.

"We should go," Ashley said, and we headed outside. We told Catherine that we were going to the party, and she told us to take one of the limos. The ride to the house took about ten minutes. Ashley kept talking about how much fun the party was going to be. I just listened while Tiara kept playing on her phone. The driver stopped at a two story house. There were people hanging out outside the house. Some with drinks in their hands.

The music was blasting loudly. Tiara, Ashley, and I got out of the limo and went into the house. There were tons of people in the house. Some were dancing and making out while others were drinking and talking. I recognized a lot of them from school.

"Hey, Ashley," Rita said as she walked over to us.

"Hey," Ashley replied

"Oh, Eliana, you made it. I am so happy you could come," Rita said with a smile on her face

"Hello, Rita. Yeah, Ashley told me you invited me. This is Tiara," I said

"Hi, Tiaras. How about we go to the kitchen? Are you hungry? Thirsty?" Rita asked as we walked into the kitchen.

"I am fine," I said.

"How about a cocktail?" Rita asked

"No, thank you," I replied.

"Of course you don't want a drink. Your mating ceremony is tomorrow. I hope you are not upset that I threw a party tonight. I promise we will all be at the ceremony," Rita said

"It's fine," I replied, and she smiled. I looked at Ashley to see that she had a frown on her face. I wondered why she looked so upset

"I am so happy you are not upset. I don't want you to think we don't care about your mating ceremony. The party is going to end early tonight so that we can all be ready for tomorrow," Rita said

Rita talked to me for a while longer, and soon others walked over to me and introduced themselves. They all seemed to be happy that I was Killian's mate. They said they didn't think that he would find his fated mate. I was shocked at how many females seemed happy for Killian and me. I didn't miss some of the females who gave me evil looks. Those were the ones that didn't speak to me. I just didn't pay them any mind.

"I am so happy you came, Eliana. You seem like a very nice girl. Honestly, I never thought Killian would settle down. I am so happy for you both," Rita said

"Thank you, Rita," I replied. Ashley just got up and left after a moment, and I looked at her, wondering why she was upset.

Another person came over to greet me, and I turned to look at them. I was sure Ashley would be alright. Just like Rita said, she ended the party at eight so that everyone would be ready for Killian and my mating ceremony. I looked around for Ashley and didn't see her anywhere. She had been missing since she left earlier.

Cayson showed up a little later. I asked him how he knew we were at a party, and he told me that Tiara told him. That was when I thought about her messing with her phone in the limo and realized she had been texting him. That made me smile. I knew Tiara really liked him. She was just afraid because of her past experience with the guys she had been with.

"I hope you had fun. I would like to hang out with both of you sometime," Rita said to Tiara and me

"That sounds good," I replied. I thought Rita was a mean girl, but I learned that I was wrong. She was actually very nice.

"Well, I will see you tomorrow," Rita said, and Tiara and I said goodbye to her and the others.

"Wait, Ashley is still here," I said

"She told me that she wasn't feeling good and was heading back to the castle," One of the girls who was at the party said

"Oh, okay," I said. I wondered why she hadn't told me she was leaving. I took out my phone and texted her. She messaged me back, saying that she left because she wasn't feeling well. When I asked her why she hadn't told me earlier, she said that she didn't want to ruin my fun.

I told Tiara, and she said she wasn't surprised about Ashley's attitude.

"Come on. Ride back with me," Cayson said, and we rode back in the limo that Cayson had come in. Cayson flirted with Tiara the entire way back to the castle. When we arrived, I said goodbye to Cayson and headed up to the room. When I got there, Ashley wasn't there. I took out my phone and called her, but she didn't answer. I called her again, and there was still no answer. I decided to message her

"Where are you?" I asked but she didn't reply. I was getting worried

"What's wrong?" Tiara asked once she came to the room about twenty minutes later.

"Ashley isn't answering my calls. I am worried," I replied

"I am sure she is alright, Eliana. Don't let her ruin your mood. Tomorrow is your day, okay?" Tiara said, and I sighed

"I am just worried," I said again

"She is fine, trust me, Eliana. I am going to take a shower. Just relax," Tiara said

"Okay," I replied

I sat on the couch and looked at my phone, hoping that she would message me back. My phone rang, and I smiled when I saw it was Killian calling

"Hey," I said as I accepted the call

"Hey, Love. How has your night been? Mom told me you went to a party," Killian said

"Yeah, it was fun. I am happy I went. I learned that almost everyone is happy for us," I said

"Of course they are... I miss you," Killian said

"I miss you too," I said

"I want to sneak out and come see you," Killian said

"No, your mom would be upset if you did that. It is only one night," I said

"Yeah, one night and then you are mine forever. We won't spend a night apart for the rest of our lives," Killian said

"I like that," I said with a smile on my face.

"I will see you tomorrow, Love. Get some sleep," Killian said

"You too," I replied. We hung up, and I headed to Killian's and my room to get ready for bed. While I was in the closet my phone beeped. I thought it was Killian, but it was a message from Ashley.
