Find Celine

~Unknown~

My car pulled up in front of his house. My driver hurried down the car to get the door for me.

My bodyguards hurried down their cars too, hastily surrounding me.

“Alpha, this is his house. He got discharged yesterday.” Lionel, one of my best Betas said to me, and I nodded, staring intensely at the house.

“Let’s move in.” I gave my order and immediately, we made our way down to the white bungalow just across the road from where we parked.

Three bodyguards led the way, while three of them were behind me. Lionel and I were in the middle, keeping our rageful gaze on the apartment.

My bodyguards got to the door first and turned to look at me, waiting for me to give another order.

I nodded slowly and they proceeded to knock on the door. Getting close to the Perron, there was still no response from inside.

“Are you sure they are in there?” One of the bodyguards asked, looking at his mates.

“Break down the door.” I ordered, and as if they knew what the next order was going to be, two of them took two paces backwards and threw their legs against the door.

The door came crashing down, exposing the small, uncoordinated living room.

We moved in, our eyes scanning almost every detail in the living room.

“Who is there?” We heard his faint voice from inside one of the rooms.

I heaved a frustrated sigh and settled on the couch.

“Get him out here. I don’t have time for nonsense.” I uttered. They hurried to the door of the room the voice came from and opened it.

“What if he doesn’t give us useful information, Alpha?” Lionel asked, making me scoff.

“Then I’ll send him back to the hospital. He better be able to cooperate or this time, it will be his mother.” I answered with a stern look.

“Let me go. Why are you…” His weak voice cried as they carried him out of the room. Looking at him, I saw he wore only shorts.

His chest, head and back were covered in a bandage which was already stained with blood.

“You’re alive.” I uttered with a smirk as they placed him on the couch carelessly, causing him to groan in agony.

“What… What do you want from me?! I don’t even know you.” He cried and stuttered, trying to sit up but he was too weak, so he stayed the way my boys had placed him.

“Please, I haven't done anything wrong. I…”

“Boy, just shut up and listen to what Alpha has to say.” Lionel butted in, shutting him the hell up.

“Are you ready to listen to me now?” I asked, giving him a cold stare. He bobbed slowly, terror evident in his eyes as he fought so hard to keep looking into my eyes.

“Now… I know you have no idea what is going on here, so I’ll be explaining briefly what I need from you. If you don’t do it…” I took a pause, my eyes falling to the wound on his chest.

“What do you want from me?”

“Celine. Celine Gomez. Where is she?”

“Celine? Who is Celine Gomez?” He asked, great confusion evident on his face.

I breathed out deeply and sat up, leaning forward. “Do you want us to remind you how we sent you to the hospital in the first place?”

“I swear on my life, I don’t know who the hell is Celine Gomez!”

“Do you think we are here to joke with you?!” Lionel growled, moving closer to him, but I hastily stopped him before he could do anything stupid.

“If you pounce on him now and he dies, we’ll never find her easily. He’s our best option now.” I said to Lionel, trying to calm him down.

I looked at him and let out a forced grin. “What’s your name??”

“Xavier.”

“Xavier, why were you with Celine the night of the full moon? Are you two together?”

“What? Who the hell is Celine? I was with Jessica not Celine. You’ve got the wrong guy!” Xavier exclaimed, tears rolling down his eyes uncontrollably.

“Jessica?” I inquired, arching one of my brows.

“Yes. Jessica Hale. She used to work at our coffee shop. We were together that night but then her mate showed up and left with her. We are not even together. Please, don’t kill me. Just leave my family alone. I know nothing!” He cried, shaking his head.

“So she changed her name to Jessica Hale?” Lionel asked, looking at me.

I scoffed and pulled out my phone from my breast pocket. I clicked on one of Celine’s pictures in my favorite album and showed it to him.

“Is this Jessica Hale?”

His eyes popped wide open and he began to nod in shock. “Yes! She always hid her face until the night of the full moon when I got to see her face when she was with her mate…”

“Enough with the mate thing, okay?! Who the hell is he anyway?!” I yelled, cutting him short. The hair on my body rose in rage as my breathing grew intense.

I am the only mate she has. Who the hell dares to call himself her mate! She is mine!

“What is the name of this man you call her mate?”

“Erm…. She called him…” he stuttered, trying to remember.

“Say his name or your mother will be next!” I growled, jumping off the couch.

“Kilhan! Alpha Kilhan is his name! He said he’s her mate and she seemed okay with it.”

I felt my eyes burning as his name continually rang in my head. ‘He’ll regret ever getting close to my woman!’

“Where the hell is she now?” Lionel asked.

“I don’t know. I have been in the hospital for days, and I haven’t seen her. Please spare my life and my mother’s. We know nothing about her. I knew she was evil when I saw that she was the face on the wanted posters. I knew she was a criminal and…”

Before he could finish, I dashed close to him and grabbed him by the neck. He tightened my grip on his neck as I lifted him up from the couch with my hand.

“Alpha.” Lionel called, trying to caution me. “You need him alive, remember?” He added, as Xavier struggled weakly in my hands.

Clenching my jaws, I let go of him and he fell to the couch, letting out a loud groan of pain.

Just then, an elderly woman ran into the living room with plastic bags in her hands.

“Xavier!” She called fearfully as she saw that he was surrounded.

“Mother! Please go away.” Xavier cried, but before she could do anything, I ordered my guards to hold her down.

‘Now I have his mother. He’ll do whatever I want him to do.’

“Don’t touch her! She knows nothing about this!”

“I don’t care! I need you to find Celine and bring her back to me! I don’t care how you’re going to do this. Get me more details on that bastard called Kilhan too. Until you give me positive feedback, your mother remains with us. Don’t worry, we’ll take care of her.” I uttered, waving at my guards to take her out of the house.

“Mother!”

“Here is my card. Find Celine and bring her to me, or your mother dies.”
