Chapter 85 Help Us.

Chapter 85 Help Us.
Bella’s POV
Two things kept racing through my mind.

One. Should I listen to John…

Or two. Should I go out there and help my pack?

“Alpha Bella!” Teeran's voice shouted from down the hall, making my head turn in her direction as my thoughts disappeared, “alpha Bella what are you doing? Hurry! We need to get to the basement to protect the pups!”

She grilled my arm tightly and tried to drag me along… but I stood rooted in place, determined not to move.

“No,” I whispered, “I’m going out there, I’m going to fight. I can’t sit around knowing John is out there, fighting for our pack. I must do the same.”

Her eyes widened in shock, her mouth opening and closing as if she didn’t know what to say.

“Teeran, go down to the basement and lock the door, do not let anyone inside, no matter what. I have to go, to help. They need me,” I said sternly, holding her shoulders as I talked to her, making sure she truly was listening.

“Alpha… that’s what they want. I can feel it. They want you to go out there, in the open. It’s a trap!” She fumbled, her panic written all over her face as she clutched my hands.

I shook my head, smiling sadly, because nothing she could say would change my mind.

“Go. Protect them. Make sure Megan is safe,” I said one last time before I let her go and ran towards the door, not looking back.

My eyes scanned the trees wildly, looking for any signs of struggle.

I closed my eyes for a second to breathe, and when I opened them my X-ray vision had kicked in.

I saw hundreds of bodies racing through the woods at incredible speeds.

Vampires.

Without hesitation I ran towards them, letting Tundra come to the surface, our power combining.

She growled in my mind, fueling my rage.

One of them came into my vision, stopping in his tracks as we made eye contact.

“Well, well. What do we have here?” He snickered with a wicked grin, making my stomach turn into knots at the way he was staring at me.

“You all need to get out of my territory. Now. Or you will all die,” I said calmly, keeping my voice even as I let my aura pour out.

His face twisted into realization as he felt my aura pushing all around.

“It’s you. Bella. The alpha here. We’ve been looking everywhere for you…” he said with a smirk, looking me up and down as he started circling around me, “we were paid a lot of money to find you. You’ll be coming with us, either the easy way or hard way, your choice.”

“You and what army?” I snarled, getting ready to let Tundra break free. My best chance at survival.

“Oh I don’t know… this one?” He said cockily, his hands gesturing towards the trees beside him just as hundreds of vampires came out.

I looked around, all of the smug faces staring back at me with curiosity.

“She’s pretty,” a small female said quietly as she studied me, “she also looks innocent. Jame what are you getting us into?”

“Shut up!” He snapped angrily at her, glaring as his eyes darted back towards me, “we’re getting a lot of money doing this. Money that we need. Don’t say anything else Rebecca. Just help me deliver her.”

She sighed but nodded her head, looking at me sadly before she masked her face with zero emotions.

They all started to close in on me, forming a tight circle, not giving me any room to run.

I snarled before Tundra tore out of me, her massive form standing on all four paws while drool fell from our teeth fork growling.

Every last one of their eyes widened, shocked from our white fur.

“She’s a white wolf, we can’t do this. She’s too important. Jame think this through, the vampire king wouldn’t approve of this! We could get executed!” Rebecca screamed, her eyes wild as her head turned from me back to Jame.

Why would the vampire king care if I was a white wolf? Why am I important to them?

‘Because, Bella. Our magic,’ Tundra growled in my mind, making me roll my eyes internally.

‘Yeah but what does our magic gain them?’ I asked curiously as we looked all around us, searching desperately for any way out of this, or any weaknesses.

Tundra was silent in my head for a while…

‘If they could catch us, they could weaken us just enough to do what they say. That could be bad… for not just us. For everyone.’

Her words echoed in my head as the one vampire made the first move towards me.

His eyes were bright red as his fangs came out, trying to bite into my flesh…

We moved to the right, Tundra faster than him.

He snarled as he whipped around, facing us again. More angrily this time.

“How are we supposed to catch her if you are all going to stand there like idiots all night! Help me! I’m not going to be able to do it myself!” He yelled, his eyes blazing with fury as everyone’s eyes widened at his reaction.

Almost right away everyone shook their heads and slowly started to come after me.

We looked around, seeing no way out of this…

The last thing Tundra thought about doing was howling, howling to Titan. To hopefully get his attention.

We can’t access our mindlink… there’s wolfsbane around here somewhere.

Tundra lifted her head high as she howled loudly, hoping, praying to the goddess he came for us. And fast.

“Shit!” Jame muttered, trying to get to me quickly to shut me up.

I growled before snapping at him, biting his hand clean off.

He screamed, his voice echoing across the woods.

“You’ll pay for that!” He said through gritted teeth, Rebecca coming up behind him and placing a hand on his shoulder.

“You know we can’t do this, right? We have to give her to the vampire king or… let her go. This isn’t right. She’s a white wolf, maybe even the last one, don’t you think this is wrong?” She asked softly, looking up into his eyes as she waited for him to answer.

He looked down at her, his face softening for a second… before he pushed her down, snarled and walked away…
