I feel refreshed after our date. For me, it was very simple, but I could see how happy and satisfied my mate was. I took that as a chance to get to know her even more and I found out that she was very smart. I know that I am lacking in so many ways. I don’t have much time for her either because of the pack and the company. Reeves was still in the Lunar Pack, so I was the one who was doing all his duties as well, since Carter was with Mica, assisting her with her training.

Athena, who was now in the Blue Moon Pack, couldn’t tell me when she was going to come back and Lexis didn’t want to help me with the company as well. Hera is the only one I can count on but I don't think that she will be staying since she already has a mate and is soon to be Luna of the Lunar Pack.

Then I thought of Mica once again. She’s smart and I think I will be able to teach her about the company. I am not going to let her manage it by herself. Of course, I will be here too. But with her, at least we will be able to accomplish a lot without taking so much of my time. I will be able to have quality time with my mate as well. Yes, that’s what I am going to do after she passes the critical part of her training.

“Hi,” my mate said, smiling as she entered my office. I looked up and smiled back at her. “Hungry?” she asked, then I looked at the time.

“I didn’t notice that it was lunchtime already,” I replied,

“You must have been very busy, you need to rest from time to time,” she said and I agreed with her.

“Why are you here? I never thought that Carter would let you off at this time.”

“He said that I could train at least 3 hours a day from now on,” she replied, how can it be so timely? “I want to ask you if there’s anything I can help you with, but I will do that later. For now, come and let’s have lunch first,” she added. I got up from my seat before I took her hand and we both went out of my office, going to the dining hall hand in hand.

Everyone greeted us when we reached the dining area. They were all happy and I could feel their respect for my mate. I am proud of her because I know how hard she has worked for that. There was also a time when she spent time with the pups and I watched them as they played. She was full of life as she tried to catch them. The parents were very happy as well.

Many old pack members remembered my mother when she was still alive. They said that she was like my mate who was very happy to assist every pack member. They also said that Mica is going to be a good and responsible Luna, and I know that.

“What are you looking at?” My mate asked. I must have been in very deep thought. She was putting some food on my plate. “Before you think about anything, fill your stomach first,” she added, so I started eating. I mean, we started eating.

The lunch was fun. Everyone enjoyed their food and the time they spent with me and my mate. They said that they feel comfortable with us and at the same time respectful since we are both good leaders. Mica thanked them for their trust and acceptance and I saw her getting teary as the members told her their admiration for her.

We went back to my office after and that’s when she started to ask me about what she did to help me. Since I needed any help I could get, I didn’t hesitate to inform her about the company. I sighed in relief when she agreed immediately.

“Oh, you don't know how much it will help me, woman,” I said and kissed her.

“But you have to teach me. I know nothing about business but I’m sure that I will be able to manage since I’m a fast learner and smart,” she replied.

“Of course,” I said, “would it be OK with you if you came here after lunch, every day?”

“Even if you are not going to teach me, I was sure that I am going to stay here since I will not have any more training in the afternoon.”

“Then it’s a deal.” and she nodded. I got up from my seat and went to a sterile cabinet where some company files are. I am going to start teaching her now.

“As you already know, I asked some of the omegas to manage our business. It was for them to get acquainted with the humans as well and gather information about everything outside the pack.” I started, then showed her three different folders. “Our business consists of the mall where you and my siblings went to. The construction company and the IT company,” I added.

“That’s a lot.” she commented, “That’s why you are so busy.”

“Yes, and I’m sorry for that.”

“You don’t have to. I mean, I do miss you when we are not together and whenever you are busy, but I do understand. Especially now, after finding out what was keeping you busy.”

“Thank you for your understanding,” I replied, smiling. “Anyway, the mall was managed by some of our omegas, as I already said. But for the construction and IT company, I managed them myself. And that is what I want to teach you.”

“OK, I’m listening,” she replied, so I explained to her the ins and outs of the construction company. She is smart and she gets almost everything I taught her. For the time being, I will be teaching her about that, then when she becomes familiar with the business, that’s when I am going to teach her about the IT company. I just hope that the vampire king won’t make a move just yet. I still have a lot to prepare and I lack people who will do things for me. I hope, please moon goddess.
