"Ms. Davis, Stella."

Freya walked in with a familiar look on her face. Before the two people in the ward could ask, she warmly and kindly explained her purpose.

"Your test reports were supposed to be submitted to Vivienne's mentor, Raymond. However, to avoid any conflict of interest, Raymond transferred you to me. So, I'll be taking care of you from now on!"

Ava felt a surge of joy in her heart.

She had thought that getting the fake certification would be a failure, but now there was a glimmer of hope.

This Freya seemed very simple, but she was sure that this person was not as rigid as Vivienne.

"Really, Dr. Stewart? We are indeed fortunate in this misfortune. Vivienne is completely unreliable. Not only did she mess up our Stella, but she also exaggerated our condition. Such a person doesn't deserve to be a doctor!"

Freya, who had studied psychology for seven years, certainly knew how serious Stella's condition was.

She immediately understood Ava's intention and said, "Is that so? Vivienne might be a bit aggressive. Some situations require flexibility, and the data on this record is indeed somewhat exaggerated."

"I will have someone issue a new one for you later."

"As for Vivienne, our department just issued a notice saying there will be a meeting about this matter."

Stella couldn't contain her excitement. "What do you think? Is Vivienne going to be fired?"

If Serenity University Hospital didn't kick her out, how could they justify her effort in pretending to have a miscarriage?

And she did have a real threat of miscarriage! The doctor just said so!

Hearing this, Freya looked hesitant.

Stella sensed something was wrong. "What do you mean by hesitating? Is the hospital not planning to punish her?"

"That's not it."

"The hospital's attitude is quite clear; they will definitely punish Vivienne."

"It's just that Vivienne is a young talent at Serenity University, and most people think there's no need to punish her too severely."

In fact, many people believed Vivienne was wronged. As doctors, they knew how serious it was for a patient to hit a doctor.

However, Ava and Stella didn't think they were wrong at all. Stella, following the keywords in Freya's words, sneered, "Serenity University, huh? If she weren't a student of Serenity University, she wouldn't be so arrogant!"

Freya saw the faces of Stella and Ava gradually sour, knowing she had achieved her goal.

"Don't say that. Vivienne is just a bit aggressive. Everyone should take a step back."

"Alright, the meeting is about to start. I'll be going now. If you need anything, remember to contact me."

After Vivienne hung up the phone, Amelia didn't think twice and drove straight to Serenity University Hospital.

Vivienne's tone clearly indicated something was wrong.

When she found Vivienne's office with the nurse's guidance, she happened to run into a few people who came to inform Vivienne of the decision.

Amelia saw Freya opposite her, and her smile became even gentler. This Freya was really everywhere, wasn't she?

Freya thought the same about Amelia.

Freya wasn't surprised. When she heard Vivienne on the phone, she heard Amelia's name.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have bothered to personally deal with a mere intern.

"Amelia?"

Vivienne had just called Vaughn and had adjusted her mood quite a bit. She was a little surprised to see Amelia.

"Didn't you say there was nothing wrong?" Amelia gestured to the people beside her, "What's going on?"

Vivienne smiled awkwardly. "I didn't want you to worry."

A stern man with a badge reading "Associate Chief Physician" interrupted their conversation. "Vivienne, due to your involvement in a serious doctor-patient relationship issue, our hospital has decided to end your internship early, and we will no longer employ you."

Vivienne was a bit shocked. "Sir, did something happen to Ms. Johnson? I don't think the issue is that serious. How did it escalate to a permanent ban?"

"Did you make a mistake? How about I recount the events for you?"

The associate chief's face remained expressionless. "We are aware of the situation, but Stella has shown severe signs of a threatened miscarriage, and your actions have had a very negative impact on the psychiatry department. We made this decision after careful consideration."

Vivienne's mentor, Raymond, stood by with a look of pity.

Although he didn't like this student, he had to admit she was talented and hardworking, a promising candidate.

Now, with this incident, although it wouldn't ruin her career, it would certainly keep her from ever reaching the pinnacle of psychology.

Thinking this, Raymond glanced at Freya beside him.

He had thought that, since they were from the same school, the kind and gentle Freya would say a few words in her defense. But she did speak, only to make things worse.

Raymond remembered that during the meeting, Freya arrived late and said, "Sorry, the patient's condition wasn't good. The obstetrician said the emotional turmoil had caused signs of a threatened miscarriage, so I stayed a bit longer."

A doctor who wasn't very familiar with the situation immediately assumed. "Is Vivienne's professional ethics and ability that poor? Knowing the patient had psychological issues, she still provoked her. I don't think she's suitable for psychiatry, at least not here."

With that, several people who usually liked to please this doctor immediately agreed.

Later, when everyone was discussing their views and asked Freya, she directly said, "I wanted to plead for my junior, but with the recent doctor-patient disputes at the neighboring hospital, we are in a sensitive position. If we don't handle this seriously, it could negatively impact the hospital."

Her words were reasonable and showed a great sense of the bigger picture. So, the director ultimately decided to handle it strictly. What could have been resolved with a simple reprimand escalated to this point.

"Raymond, what's wrong?"

Raymond's stare was so obvious that Freya turned to look at him.

"Nothing."

Raymond waved his hand and, after a moment's hesitation, coldly said to Vivienne, who wasn't entirely disliked by him, "Go back to school and study hard. With your grades, if you change your bad temper, there are other places you can go."

Freya, standing beside Amelia and Vivienne, chuckled inwardly.

Back to school? That was probably not going to happen.
