Laura

"What do you mean by everything?" Tracy asked looking confused.

"Everything Tracy, where we currently are, things we are going to go while we are here, the business idea I have, everything!" I said panicking.

"You sound like you don't remember the things you wrote in the book,"

"No Tracy, I remember them, the problem is I left the book in New York, what if Liam or Ethan find it?" I asked and she mouthed an 'oh'.

"I guess that would mean the universe doesn't want you to leave New York," she said and I hit her lightly.

"Stop joking around Tracy, I'm serious, they can't come here to find us," I said and one of the babies kicked making me close my eyes while the pain passed.

"Are you okay?" Tracy asked holding my hand and I opened my eyes.

"Yeah, the babies, one of them kicked," I said and she gave me a small smile.

"Take it easy, okay? I don't think your babies want you to stress yourself this much,"

"I know, I can't help it,"

"It's okay, where did you leave the book exactly?"

"I'm not sure but I'm guessing it is at Ethan's house where we stayed for two months, I remember seeing the book while I was packing my things there, I think it is there," I said and she nodded.

"I don't think anyone would be going to that place Laura, not for a while so don't worry,"

"Oh, I wish there is someone I can call to get the book for me,"

"But there isn't, if I tell Ethan I can't promise he won't check what is in the book, the same thing goes for Isabella, so why alert them? Let's just stop worrying about it," she said and I nodded.

"You are right, let's stop worrying about it,"

The bake sale happened three days later, it was earlier than we expected but we managed to pull it off, Tracy did most of the work because I was tired most of the time and my back hurt.

The bake sale was divided into two parts which made it very interesting, there was the sales part and there was the competing part.

Each person or group entering the competition baked a few cakes as a sample and everyone had a bite, if they liked it they would proceed to buy more, the person with the highest income from the sale was the winner of the competition.

"Wow! We sold a lot of cake, we sold a lot of cake," Tracy said counting the money we earned again.

"I know right, this is the most money I've made in a day," I said and she smiled.

"We would have made more money if we were allowed to make more cake," she said and I couldn't agree more.

"It indeed is a bake sale,"

"Everyone gather around," someone said using a microphone, I looked in the direction to see the lady that came a few minutes before to take a record of how much we made.

"We have come to the end of the bake sale and now it is time to announce the winner," the lady said and everyone cheered.

"Now I'd like all of you to know that everyone did well, they did their best but we can't have more than one favorite cake, there has to be one even if it is by 0. 1 dollars,"

"Now, let's get right into it, drum roll please," the lady said and there was a drum roll, the crowd was also cheering loudly.

"Thank you! Thank you!! Now, the winner of the annual fantastic bake sale competition is..." The lady said but stopped making people protest.

"Okay, sorry about that, again, the winner of the annual fantastic bake sale competition is... L and T, winning with a sum of..." I didn't hear the rest, I was shocked, I looked at Tracy whose mouth was opened.

People trooped to our stand to congratulate us, the host moved closer to our stand too and I watched as people made way for her to get to us.

"How are you feeling?" she asked and I swallowed.

"I... I'm not sure, I'm surprised, thank you, everyone, Tracy, how are you feeling?" I asked looking at Tracy and the lady moved the microphone closer to her.

"Same, I'm surprised and I appreciate everyone, thank you," Tracy said and everyone clapped.

"Congratulations once again to you guys, you've won a whopping sum of $2000 as the bake sale champions, but you would be donating 30% of the money to the Port Douglas orphanage home, would you be having any problem with that?" the lady asked and we shook our head to let her know we won't be having a problem with it.

"We will be glad to do that,"

We received the prize money which we removed the 30% from immediately, we were given an award plaque, two silver brooches with the inscription 'Winner', we were also given coupons, a lot and different types of coupons.

"Congratulation girls, I'm proud of you Mrs. Benson said as she moved closer with three other people.

"Thank you, Mrs. Benson," we both said and modded.

"Of course, you know Mr. Benson," Mrs. Benson said and we nodded.

"Good this is Mr. Walter and this is Miss Blueberry, former champion of the fantastic bake sale competition," Mrs. Benson introduced, and the woman on all blue scoffed.

"More like three times champion," she said and I looked at Tracy who also looked at me then we looked back at her.

"Okay, everyone, meet Laura and Tracy, they are new in the neighborhood and as you all know they are the new champions of the annual fantastic bake sale," Mrs. Benson said with a big smile on her face.

"Oh, new in the neighborhood, I guess one of them is the one pregnant with no husband," Miss Blueberry said making my mouth drop open in surprise, I saw Mrs. Benson hit her lightly but she shrugged her hand off.

"Miss Redberry, Laura is married, she is married to one of the richest billionaires in North America, if you need proof, here it is," Tracy said pulling out my necklace to reveal my ring, I watched Miss Blueberry's face turn red in contract to her blue dressing, one would have thought her face would turn blue.

"My name is not Redberry, it is Blueberry," she said glaring at Tracy.

"I know, I said that since we are saying offensive things" Tracy retorted glaring right back before Miss Blueberry could say any other thing, an exotic car parked right before the stand, the car looked expensive so everyone's attention was focused on the car.

The driver came out of the car and moved closer to us.

"Good afternoon, delivery for Miss Laura," the man said and everyone turned to look at me, it was awkward but I managed to ignore their looks.

"Here," I said and the man nodded, he led me closer to the car, and everyone followed behind, they stopped when we stopped at the back of the car.

He was about to press something that looked like a remote but I stopped him.

"Um... Is it something graphic?" I asked and he gave me a big smile showing his white set of teeth that reminded me of Liam's teeth.

"Nothing graphic ma'am, more like romantic," he said right before pressing the control.

I watched as the booth opened to reveal a lot of beautiful red roses, I gasped but mine was lost in others.

"See? that is from her husband," I heard Tracy say before moving closer to me, the man handed me a card and I quickly opened it to read what was in it.

"A thousand beautiful roses but not as beautiful as your heart,"

I moved closer to the guy and spoke softly.

"Who is it from? It is just signed your admirer," I said and the guy shrugged.

"I don't know ma'am, I only did what I was told to do, which is delivery," the guy said and I frowned in confusion.
