Chapter 826 Production

Chapter 826 Production

A month later, a grand wedding was held on the island.

Christina, dressed in a beautiful wedding gown, walked step by step towards Paul, holding Lucas's hand.

Many of Paul's friends attended the wedding, making it lively and filled with laughter.

Sophia and Caroline sat together, watching Christina and Paul with great satisfaction.

They felt like they couldn't keep up with the younger generation anymore.

Sophia glanced at Caroline's belly. "You seem to have gained weight."

Caroline smiled, pressing her lips together. "I'm pregnant."

"What?"

"It's three months now, conceived after the honeymoon."

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Sophia was extremely surprised.

"You've been so busy, I didn't get a chance to tell you."

Sophia was a workaholic; just yesterday she was abroad attending Fashion Week, returning home in the middle of the night, and today she was here for the wedding.

She wasn't very close to Paul and Christina, but most of the elite in City B had some business ties, so she and Gabriel came, and of course, she had to show support because of her relationship with Caroline.

"That's great, Josie will have company at home. Josie always talks about wanting a little brother or sister." Sophia's eyes were full of maternal love as she looked at the four children playing not far away.

Caroline touched her belly, a smile spreading across her face.

"By the way, how's your health?"

Sophia replied, "I gave up."

"Why?" Caroline looked at her with concern.

Sophia smiled faintly. "The medicine is too bitter, and I often forget to take it because I'm so busy. I felt a bit better after a while, so I stopped."

Caroline pondered and asked, "Do you want to see another doctor? I know a great one; he helped me get better."

"Nicholas's leg was also treated by him," Caroline added.

Now Nicholas was almost like a normal person. He hadn't given up on rehab, but Simon's visits for treatment had become much less frequent.

Now Simon only needed to give him a massage once a month, and Nicholas continued soaking his leg in medicinal baths. Running short distances was no longer a problem.

In the future, Nicholas would be able to run normally.

Hearing that it was the doctor who cured Nicholas's leg, Sophia was tempted, but the thought of the bitter medicine made her mouth feel bitter.

"Good health leads to a harmonious life," Caroline advised Sophia with the air of someone who had been through it.

Sophia widened her eyes.

Caroline said, "Simon will come to see me in a couple of days. You can come to my house then."

After getting pregnant, Caroline had a check-up, and the baby was very healthy. But when Simon found out, he insisted on personally checking her condition.

Sophia reluctantly agreed and told Gabriel about it that night.

Gabriel turned over and hugged her.

"Go and see him. Try one last time. If you still can't take the medicine, then forget it. Just keep exercising with me."

Sophia nestled in his arms, rubbing her head against his chin.

"Okay."

That day, the kids didn't have school, so Sophia took them to Caroline's house.

After the wedding, Caroline and Nicholas lived in Heights Hill Villa, returning to The Wolf Mansion every weekend.

Today, because Simon was coming and Caroline had invited Sophia, she didn't take Josie back.

Caroline and Sophia played with the kids for a while, and then Simon arrived.

Simon took Caroline's pulse and asked about her pregnancy symptoms.

This pregnancy was different from the first. When she was pregnant with Josie, she had severe morning sickness and couldn't eat, becoming very thin and suffering a lot.

This time, she had no symptoms and enjoyed everything she ate.

Simon was pleased. "Very healthy."

Caroline withdrew her hand. "Thank you, Simon. By the way, can you check on my friend?"

"Is she pregnant too?"

"No, she has very painful periods."

"Hand."

Sophia extended her hand.

Simon closed his eyes and felt her pulse for a while.

"It's not a big problem, just some damage from the last childbirth. Proper recovery will do."

Simon took out paper and pen to write a prescription.

Halfway through, he remembered something and asked Sophia.

"Do you want to get pregnant again? If so, the medicine might be a bit more expensive."

"It is fine to be expensive, she can afford it," Caroline answered for Sophia.

Sophia remained silent. She already had three children.

Simon finished writing the prescription, gave some instructions, and left.

In the afternoon, Sophia and Caroline sat under a tree, basking in the sun, while the four children were busy with their own activities not far away.

Ethan was coding, Sam was drawing, Josie was practicing the violin, and Emma was in an online gaming competition.

Life was peaceful.

Seven months later, Caroline was wheeled into the delivery room, and Nicholas followed after changing into scrubs.

His eyes were red as he tightly held Caroline's hand. Nicholas comforted, "Darling, don't be afraid, I'm here."

Caroline was calm. She had already given birth once, and the first time was more dangerous. This time she was well-prepared, and with Nicholas and the Wolf family around, she felt very secure.

Nicholas's hand was trembling as he held hers.

The nurse couldn't stand it. "Family members, please don't be nervous. Everything will be fine."

Nicholas pressed his lips together, deeply regretting letting Caroline get pregnant. After this, he would get a vasectomy.

Caroline comforted him, "You're affecting my performance."

Nicholas replied, "I'm not nervous, I'm just worried about you."

"Got it." A wave of pain hit, and Caroline couldn't help but cry out.

Nicholas's heart tightened.

Caroline had no time to comfort Nicholas anymore as the contractions grew more intense.

The second child was born smoothly, and two hours later, the baby was born.

A group of people waited outside the delivery room.

Paul supported Christina, and Ashley stayed with Christina.

Daniel and Linda held hands tightly, and Clayton had just rushed over from a performance.

Sophia was also there, accompanied by Gabriel.

As for Josie, she was in school with the other three kids.

A nurse came out holding the baby.

"Congratulations, Mrs. Watson had a boy."

Everyone happily gathered to see the baby.

Linda asked, "How's my daughter?"

"Mrs. Watson is still being attended to inside. She'll be out soon."

A few minutes later, Nicholas came out with Caroline.

Caroline looked pale but in good spirits. She didn't fall asleep and was wheeled out with the baby beside her, heading to the ward.

Everyone went to the ward, and Gabriel, seeing the crowd, pulled Sophia to the back.

"Be careful, don't get pushed."

Sophia replied, "I won't."

"Still, be careful."

"Got it."

Half a month later, Christina's due date was approaching. They had planned to go to the hospital a week early, but before they could pack, she went into labor. The baby was coming early.
