"We announce the arrival of the representative of the Rumez Industries and Factory, Mrs. Grace Rumez" The speaker for the event announced and loud of applause sounded inside the all whilst I made my way in.
Immediately I arrived, they noticed, and as I stepped into the event hall, they made the announcement, showing how organised and systematic they were. But come to think of it, they will never allow uninvited guests into the house and besides, I came with the Rumez family's customised car.
When I reached the hall, a lot of eyes landed on me, and it took all my life training of self-control to remain calm. The fact that the people present here are only the well-known, wealthy and prominent people in the country, even some known rich people weren't qualified to get the invitation. As I calmed down and was about to feel at home. "The representative of Dell technologies Mr. Kim Sarawak has arrived" the speaker's voice sounded again and I almost jumped up 'The Dell technologies?' but soon I calmed down as Kim is only the general manager and not the CEO.
Before my husband died, he told me on many occasions that the Dell CEO was one of the few people he trusted and was close with. I turned to see who was qualified to be the general manager of such a worldwide business, and he was a good-looking male, though his eyes were scanning the whole room as if he was looking for someone, but then he stopped his scan and went to his designated table just like mine. 'He must be very smart to be in that position for years' I said inwardly.
"We welcome the Kia-Car-Mobiles, the CEO of Kia manufacturers, Mr King Harrison" And then a thirty-five-year-old male came in looking all professional and calm. The speaker kept on announcing guests one after the other till half an hour later. I have long settled and my eyes have been silently checking out the people who were invited.
Some CEOs came personally, after all, John was the one that invited them personally and was not at any level lower than them, but the fact was there was no way all the invited CEOS would be free today, so many sent the ones closest to them, in a way it's them coming in person. Just like how the general manager of Dell left all he was doing to be here.
"Thank you, everyone, for honouring the invite. As all the guests have arrived, it's now time for the host family to make their appearance. Please, everyone, a round of applause to the CEO-to-be as he makes his appearance with his family," the speaker said once more, and we all clapped while still in our seats.
A gorgeous male in a black suit came out from the inner mansion, a charming smile on his lips, followed by a good-looking man which I recognised as John. Then the younger Victor, all smiles and in a suit too. A pretty woman followed them, she was in a suit too with back suit pants. John's wife was nowhere to be found and it already told me how John was to her wife she is the one made to be in charge of the event arrangements, both foods too, I only chuckled
When I thought all the fine ones had all arrived, then came two males, one young and one a little older. The older one was so good-looking that he attracted the gaze of almost everyone in the hall; I was about to marvel at his until my eyes landed on the younger one, and I nearly clenched my thigh tightly. His jawline was as if it was curved nicely, and his eyes were unlike what I had seen. Everything about him screams perfection and just his presence alone can make girls gulp in 'excitement' but unlike the older one who has a neutral face, the sex god is stern, there's a dark vibe around him that gives the feeling of 'dangerous' away, like a very deadly young mafia who have killed a lot of people.
But the most bewildering thing about all this was even though people knew that he must be dangerous, they still craved him; it was as if they could happily die and trade their lives just for a night with him. Everyone here is at the level that has made them see a lot of things about this world, so the feeling everyone got from the male must be related to what he does but 'Damn', I muttered inside my head.
The sex god started to scan the hall but then retracted his gaze as if no one would catch his attention, so there was no need to bother. John cleared his throat "Good day everyone. Thank you so much for honouring my invitation to my son's inauguration, not only as the family leader but also as the CEO of Largo Technologies, although the latter will fully take place tomorrow at the Largo headquarters" he smiled whilst looking around the hall. "But before I continue, let me first introduce the special presence of my elder brother Mathew Largo, and his son, Vincent Largo" he said gesturing to the fine male and angel-devil next to him.
Immediately, the hall fell in a moment of silence before clapping without anyone telling them to. Clearly the people who started the clap know a thing or two about the duo or what they do. Mathew waved with a casual smile, making him look more irresistible, but Vincent didn't want to bother with anyone. "Okay, now everyone has known everyone. Let's now move towards the real event", he said and scanned the hall before his eyes finally fell on me, and I suddenly had a bad feeling about this.
"Mrs. Grace Rumez, can you please give a little speech on behalf of the guests?" he said and I gulped down, I knew it, but why me though? It can be anyone for fucks sake, right?
