Chapter Fifty-seven

Chapter 57:  Accident Scene

Ashley's POV

“You fvcking son of a b*tch!" I cursed loudly as I pushed Carlos backward from leaving the house.

“Have you gone crazy?! How fvcking dare you touch me, b*tch?!" He cursed as well and the tense atmosphere intensified.

“Why won't I touch you, motherfvcker?!  I fvcking eloped with you to this country, forsaking everything because I loved you. The best way you think to reward me for doing so is to cheat on me with those cheap sl*ts, huh?!” I screamed at his face, standing on my toes and I used my chest to push him backward.

"Don't test me, b*tch! Get the fvck out of my way now!” He roared angrily, I was intimidated but I didn't show. I brushed the few strands of my hair off my forehead and tucked it behind my ear, "Do your worst, fvcker! You ain't leaving this house, today!" I said deadpanned and he looked very angry at the moment.

He snarled, “I fvcking dare you, b*tch!" He said as he raised his finger. It infuriates me the way he calls me b*tch every time, “I repeat, I fvcking dare you to touch me again," he threatened and I felt tears blur my vision, “Yes! That's what you can do! All you do is to threaten me that's all, fvcker! I cursed the day I met you. I cursed the day I said I love you! I curse the day I agreed to come to this country with you!” I yelled loudly through my tears.

He rubbed his face tiredly, "Oh, please. I used you just to get back at Gael, Mr. I have it all. Too bad you tell me,”  he mocked he wanted to kiss me but I pushed him away and he fell on the couch. He got up immediately and pushed me to the floor, I winced as my back collided with the wall.

"B*tch!” He spat out, with the toothpick in his mouth before he walked out, slamming the door very loudly.

“You will never return, fvcker!” I cursed him loudly as I rubbed my aching back, "God!" I cried as I buried my face in between my thighs. I cried so hard until there were no more tears left. Carlos changed a few days after we got to this country. He was always cheating on me and the worst part was, he didn't hide it or feel any atom of remorse about it.

Gael loved me. I knew it, he never made me cry. I remembered the day I was having cramps, how he had run helter-skelter to make me feel relieved of the pain. Here I am, always screaming at the top of my voice every day with this bastard. I was the one paying for the rent, he didn't care about me. We argued one day, which led to him slapping me. I was all alone in this country, with no one to report to. If I report this to the authorities, my parents would be aware and Gael would also be aware, thereby mocking me for eloping with that fvcker.

I got up from the floor, “I promise to poison you one day, bast@rd!" I cursed amidst my tears and I got to the room to rub on ointment on my back.

Astral's POV

“Cut!" The director's voice rang across the room. We were currently in a ballroom, shooting a scene where the couple had to dance together. I held the gown and I walked away from the room. I was very tired but I wasn't free because of my absence for two days. After explaining everything to my mother, of course, she scolded me and forgave me afterward.

I feel so sleepy at the moment. I spotted John, my manager, he walked up to me and I changed the heels that I was wearing into simple slippers.

“Director, let's shoot some more scenes. The day is still very bright," Kimberly said and I stopped abruptly on my way to my room.

“All right," the director said and he clapped his hands to gain our attention, “Guys, let's change our clothes. The next scene would be the accident scene,” he announced and I screamed, "What?!” All eyes turned to my direction and I swallowed my saliva at the sudden spotlight.

“Any problem, Astral?" A lady beside me, one of the crew, asked and I  smiled warmly at her before I shook my head negatively. She didn't look to believe me but she nodded still.

‘Oh no!’ I face-palmed myself inwardly. The accident scene requires a lot of energy, emotions, and full concentration.

“Let's get you ready!" John beamed as he turned to me. I made a straight face and sluggishly headed to the dressing room, “You good?" He asked, looking concerned beside me.

I couldn't help wanting to vent my anger at him, “Yes, I am super good. Didn't you see me hopping up and down when the director announced the scene?" I asked him as I crossed my arms.

"No, I didn't see you,” he said looking like a saint and I had to tap his head, "Hey! What's that for?” He asked, exaggerating the pain the light tap had caused him.

“Seriously, huh?! Can't you differentiate between being serious and frustrated?" I asked as I opened the dressing room door. I was glad to find it empty. I slumped on the chair and threw my head backward.

“Scratch that. Girl, remember these scenes will be part of the advert. Give in your best and make me proud as your manager," he said seriously and I smiled at him.

"Yes, I will make you proud,” I said cutely and he roughened my hair, "That's my girl," he said endearingly, “I will go get you an energy drink. The tiredness will fly out of the window,” he informed and walked out of the room to get the drink. I decided to take a little nap before his arrival, I felt so drained out.
