I noticed something when Theo turned me around to unzip me. It came like an odd feeling and it made me cold. At first, I thought it was just the cold air since we’re on the rooftop but I couldn’t shake off the feeling. All of a sudden, I heard a rumbling and looking up, I saw Matt appear at the entrance.
I froze immediately, thinking he had caught us now because there was no way I would be able to warn Theo off and not raise Matt’s suspicions.
“Grace!” He called out while I started shaking. Theo was probably shaking too, he couldn’t even get my zip anymore. 
There was fear written all over me as Matt approached me in a hurry.
“What are you doing here all alone?” He asked and my brows raised then. 
What does he mean all alone? 
“Huh?” I quizzed. 
“You said you were going to the restroom and it’s been over thirty minutes. The event is even over. I’ve been looking for you all over and here you are, on the rooftop all by yourself.” He repeated and that was when I turned around. 
To ny surprise, Theo wasn’t not there or anywhere on the roof. I couldn’t let Matt suspect though so I just shut off that feeling.
“Yeah I know, I just needed some fresh air and it was so nice here I didn’t even know the time was far gone. I’m sorry.” I chimed in and he nodded.
“That’s alright. We have to go back now though, people are already leaving and I still want us to see some before they leave.” He said.
“Oh no, please Matt, not tonight. I’m so tired, I don’t have it in me to talk to anyone anymore.” I countered while he stared at me for a long second.
I was so sure he was going to force me but then, he shrugged his shoulders.
“Okay then, there’s always another time. Let’s go home then so you can have all the rest you want.” He finally replied. 
He led the way and I followed him but I kept looking back, trying to see if I would see Theo. 
After all, it’s not possible he jumped off the roof. He wouldn’t do that, right?
We got back inside and I was shocked yet again to see Theo sitting there, looking so unbothered like we weren’t just almost caught few minutes ago. 
And how did he even get past us and get here before us? Oh my goodness, I hope I don’t go crazy. 
The place was already packing up so we exchanged pleasantries with a couple of people and then took our leave. 
Theo and I ignored each other and got in our separate cars. 
Matt and I got home first and we went into our room. He freshened up after which I did and by the time I was out, he was fast asleep. 
I got into bed and then stayed there for about an hour before I gently got up and left the room. 
I sneaked into Theo’s room and seeing as it was already slight opened, I knew he was hoping I’d come. He had already slept off though, he probably waited till he couldn’t. 
A naughty grin came on my face as I stripped out of my nightgown and gently got into the bed with him. 
He jerked awake immediately but he didn’t seem scared like I expected.
“You’re not even scared someone got into your bed. What if I’m here to kill you?” I teased while he pulled me under him.
“I was already expecting you, I know you’re so naughty and after that hot kiss we had earlier, there’s no way you’re not coming for more.” He teased and I laughed quietly.
“So you’re saying you know me so well then.” 
“At this point, I’m sure I know you even more than you know yourself. And if you were a killer, maybe I want to be killed by a hot killer.” He replied and we both laughed but we made sure we were quiet. 
We went mute then and just stared in each other’s eyes. That has become like our activation point now because it didn’t take long since it got intense and we were back to kissing passionately. 
It didn’t stop with a kiss this time, we went all the way. We had sweet passionate sex that had me shaking all over as we both came at the same time.
It was more passionate this time because we weren’t two strangers that met at the bar. We were two people in love making sweet love. 
“I love you,” I didn’t know what I was thinking but my mouth moved fast and I had said it before I realized it. 
I saw the look on his face and I just knew I wasn’t getting a response.
“It’s okay, you don’t have to say anything…”
“I love you too, Grace. I love you so much.” He cut in before I could finish and that got me hooked immediately.
I just couldn’t believe the love I’ve always wanted was finally playing out in front of me. 
I know it’s love this time because I’ve never felt this way before. Even with my two exes, it was different. I loved them of course but the love I feel for Theo is so much more. 
“You weren’t expecting that, right?” He asked while I shook my head. 
“Uhn uhn, I wasn’t.” I muttered.
“I know right, you shouldn’t doubt it though. I’m not one to announce my love but when I do, it’s from my heart.” He chimed in and then pressed a kiss on my lips.
