Chapter 80 080
Unknown POV
I have been planning this for a very long time, and I am close to my goal. Of course, I'm not going to let anyone take what's mine away from me, the only Lycan blood existing and is now carrying a Lycan heir, the prophesied one. It has been so many years that I've tried to gain enough power and control over the werewolf community. Everyone would respect me once all my plans come into place.
“Master, how long are we going to wait for her to come out of that place? Shouldn't we go and get her by ourselves?” my subordinate asked me.
I shook my head. “Of course not. How is it going to be fun if we go there easily? Besides, she's with the strongest werewolf alive. Do you think we would be able to easily catch her even if we want to? We will have a lot of casualties, so we should plan carefully.”
“But master, we cannot wait any longer. We don't have much time to waste in this situation. We need to get her here so that we can monitor the growth ourselves,” he said again.
I turned around to look at him. He's very stupid sometimes, which makes me very annoyed. I thought I explained to him that we didn't need to rush things, yet he keeps telling me what to do. This is what I hate the most.
“I told you that you need to be patient, and you keep trying to give the orders. Why don't you just become the master instead?”
He immediately went down on his knees. “Of course not! I wouldn't dare to do that, master. Please forgive my insolence. It won't happen again.”
I scoffed. “I have my own plans and ways to bring her out of there. If you would be patient enough, you would see that things are not so easy. She's going to come out sooner or later, and we will get her. There's no need to be hasty about things.”
“It was my oversight. I apologize again, master,” he said to me. “Ever since you saved my life, I promised that I would do whatever I can to serve you. Whatever your decision is, of course, it's what I'll follow.”
I shook my head again. “You're quite loyal. But you just do things that I didn’t require you to do sometimes. Try to be better, or else...”
I walked away and left him there. I was tired of listening to his antics. I had other things to do, which was meeting up with the ones that I had planned to meet in the past. I was finally trying to get the support that I needed for my position to be known to the world.
It would have taken a lot of people and a lot of time, but these people have received a lot of help from me before, and now they would help me when I need it. Of course, Damien has the most allies in this community, and it's hard to match someone of his level. It's not going to be easy if I want to make things work for me, but it doesn't mean that it wouldn't work either.
They were there waiting for me, the three important elders from three different packs. They were here on my orders because they needed to do the tasks from now on. They got to their positions thanks to me supporting them and guiding them through wisely, because I did a lot for them to get to that stage. I want to take over each pack one by one, and they would be my people from the inside.
“You all are finally here,” I said as I walked up to them. “I have been waiting a long time for you. I guess you all have been busy with your issues.”
None of them said anything as I got closer and sat down. They were all looking at me in some kind of way. I understood since I already helped them to get to their positions, now they don't want to repay the favor. Of course, they are looking for ways to get out of this, but is it that easy to do? Do they think I'm that stupid to be fooled?
“You all are not saying anything. Is it that you want to cut ties with me now that you have gotten to a position that you want, or do you have other issues that you want me to work on?” I asked them.
The first elder cleared his throat. “I came here to tell you that I wouldn't be able to do the tasks that you gave to me. They were all just too much. How can you expect me to give you important pack secrets, especially about the Alpha?”
I sneered. “Don't you think it's a bit ironic that you can't do all of that for me, despite everything I did to get you to that position? Why? Have you forgotten that you didn't get this position the good way?”
I turned to the other one. “I suppose you also came to tell me this, right?” Then I turned to the next one. “And you too. Since you all came with the same motive, then I have nothing else to say.”
I stood up, clenching my fists. I did everything and schemed so hard for them to get to their positions so that they could be my eyes and ears. I wanted to get rid of the Alphas of those packs, merge them together, and become the ruler of every one of them. Now they want to shatter my plans because they think they have everything they wanted now?
Then it’s easy. I'm going to make sure that they lose everything they relied on which is the audacity they used to tell me this. If I could give them this position, then it means that I can take it away from them at any time. Since they are capable of doing things for themselves, then I'm going to watch them do it by themselves.
“Since you all don't want to help me out with what I said, then you should be ready to lose everything you have. It's not a warning, it's an announcement,” I said to them. They all looked shocked by what I said but what is so shocking about this? Did they expect me to take it just because they told me that way?
“What you're asking us to do is a little bit too much. Just because you gave us a position doesn't mean you helped us all alone. You approached the three of us to help you in our respective packs, and now you want to make things hard for us. How do you think it would be if we get caught by doing all those things? Do you think you’d get away with it?”
They all fired at me, and I warned them, “Then don't do anything! I don't want you to do anything for me anymore. I'm going to give you three days, and you'll see what will happen by then. Let's see if you can save yourselves from the mess. Since I got you out of that position once, I can find someone else who is obedient enough to listen to me. Now get out of here before I lose my temper,” I said, pointing towards the door, but they were too reluctant to leave.
“Why are you not getting out of here?” I growled at them.
“We're so sorry, master. We shouldn't have been disobedient to you. We promise that we will do whatever you ask from now on, as long as we don't get into trouble.”
I smirked. “You won't get into trouble. Everything I'm doing is to help myself and everyone else. Once I become the ruler of all the werewolf community, then I would definitely promote you all to a better position.”
I finally got them to obey me. It was easy enough threatening them with the success they tasted. I had to wait for a while, letting them enjoy their success before bringing this up. I knew they would reject it if I brought it up immediately, but now that they are deep into it, they wouldn't want to let go of what they have now. It's only left for Amelia to come out. I've been watching her for a long time, and I can't wait to get her away from Damien so they won't ruin my plans.
