Damien's POV
He dared to step into my territory with the thoughts of taking my woman away from me? The audacity to think he can do what he wants where I am. I think everyone seems to have forgotten who I am since I stopped making trouble for a while now. If I didn't come here, what would he have forced her to do?
"If you don't say something right now, I will assume that you already gave me your answer." I said to Amelia, lacking the patience to hear her defend him.
"Damien, wait! Why won't you give me a chance to explain?" She fired at me.
Her friend immediately got in front of her, "You jerk! Can't you see I'm about to leave with him. Why should she be blamed for this idiot's actions?"
No one would speak to me like this on any day. Everything I'm going through right now is all because of Amelia. I can't believe they chose to lie to me like this. If Lucas hadn't come to tell me about how this bastard was trying to take my woman away, how would I know?
"Lucas." I called and he immediately rushed over.
"Yes, Alpha."
I sighed, "I want everyone on duty today dead and every associate disabled in the next one hour. From here down to the border. I don't care how you'll do it, kill them."
"Yes, Alpha."
Their eyes widened, but I wasn't ready to look at their reaction. I need Amelia to understand that I haven't gotten violent because she's in a vulnerable state right now. How dare she try to leave me? Especially carrying my baby and she's still thinking of other men?
"Damien, what the hell are you doing? Why kill innocent people when they know nothing about this?" Amelia fired at me.
Look at her getting agitated just because of what I said. This is the bastard who rejected her in the past and made her a joke amongst everyone. He did all that to her and she still cares about him? Why doesn't she ever listen to me?
"Alpha Damien, if you have anything to say, why not say it to me? Don't you think killing your own people over something trivial is a little too irresponsible?" The bastard finally spoke up.
I sneered, moving closer to him. I looked at him properly to see what exactly Amelia liked about him and also what gave him the nerve to stand up to me when most people can't do it.
"You came all the way here to seek death? Then, you won't leave alive. I'm going to have you torn apart limb to limb until you have nothing left of you." I threatened him.
The girls were in shock with what I said but he didn't look shocked at all. He was way too overconfident so I guessed he relied on Amelia helping him out to deal with me.
"Alpha Damien, why don't we talk this out?" Amelia tried to beg for him. "This is a law abiding society. You can't just kill people with no reason."
I looked at her, disappointed in her words. "Are you saying I'm being too cruel to your lover?"
"What loved? Damien are you out of your mind?" She yelled at me.
"You would even yell at me for him." I said, "Lucas, capture him and kill him. Then, send his body to wherever he came from. I'm taking his family members with him too. They can accompany him in hell."
Lucas immediately went to capture him but he didn't budge.
"Alpha Damien, I'm afraid you can't kill me. I'm a very important member of my pack and we carry the same rank. Killing me would only land you in trouble." He said to me.
What? I couldn't hold back my laughter until it turned deadly. I hate people who think they can defy me the most. I'm the most powerful werewolf in the world. Does he think I'm that easy to mess with? I'm going to show him why I'm known as the devil right now?
I grabbed him by the collar, digging my nails into his body. "I showed you courtesy because of Amelia. I didn't want to agitate her and I tried to endure your stupidity. But what did you say?"
I scoffed, "You're telling me I can't do anything to you because your pack... Who the hell are you people to be worth my time and attention? I haven't spilled blood in a long time, good. I'm going to dig your heart out first and send it to them as a gift."
"You can't do anything to me!" He groaned, trying to fight me off but his strength is nothing to me. "You'll regret this! I won't cave in just because of you. You forced Amelia to be here and I'm here to take her away."
I looked at Amelia and I could see the fear in her eyes. They were pleading to me to stop. Why should I do that?
"Brian, can you just shut up and stop making things worse for yourself?" Stacy yelled at him. "Alpha Damien, please don't kill him. I promise you, he won't come here again."
My hands were going deep into his chest as he groaned in more pain.
"Why should I listen to you? I'm not giving him a chance to walk out of here alive." I replied and continued.
He was choking and also bleeding a lot. That only made me happy, I wanted him dead fast so he wouldn't think of taking Amelia away from me again. I won't let that nonsense happen to me.
"Damien, Please don't kill him. I'm begging you!" Amelia shouted with all her strength.
Her friend held on to her but I ignored her. I was getting close to his heart which I would be able to pull out in a matter of seconds. He didn't get a chance to call for help anymore as he got unconscious with his face red and swollen.
"Damien! You jerk! Why won't you listen to me? You... You..."
"Amelia, what's wrong with you? Are you okay?" Stacy asked her, then she gasped, "B-blood! She's bleeding! Damien! Stop that and check on her!"
I immediately let go of the idiot and rushed to catch Amelia who was getting unconscious. I saw the blood streaming out of her body and immediately realized that I scared her to this state. I regretted my actions.
"Amelia, look at me! Don't go! Lucas! Get the doctors!" I shouted, carrying her. Then I looked at the body on the ground. "Throw him away and postpone the killings for now. Amelia is more important."
"Yes, Alpha!" Lucas answered and rushed away.
I carried her back to the room, trying to talk to her so she wouldn't go unconscious. I've never known fear before but what is this feeling of not wanting to lose her? I feel like I'll die if anything happens to her. What am I going to do?
"Amy! Please don't fall unconscious. Do this for your baby or you'll go into a coma. Please." Her friend begged her. "It's all your fault! If you had listened to her and not tried to kill one of her old friends in front of her, would this have happened?"
"Do you think now is the time to talk about this?" I fired at her.
"It's the time! If you hadn't gone into her life, she would probably be living her free life happily now. Not only did you force and humiliate her, you also almost killed her. You think she's going to love you like this?"
"No one wants to be loved this violently at all! You'll continue to end up alone at this rate! I won't forgive you or let you go if anything happens to her! No matter how powerful you are, I'll make you pay."
I listened to all her provocations and realized she was telling the truth. I tried to force her into being with me. I was selfish and only thought of myself, but this is the only way I know. Did I fail to make her love me again?
