Chapter 28 Kissing Little Wife

"Lilian, I warn you, if you want to continue in this circle, go out and apologize to me immediately. Otherwise, you will regret coming into this world." The representative of the partner was both angry and arrogant as he shouted at Lilian.

Lilian chuckled lightly with a calm expression on her face as if she had heard a joke. "I have already said what I wanted to say. How can I apologize? Besides, if I do apologize, who will apologize to the consumers?"

"If you don't come forward and apologize to eliminate the negative impact on us, then we'll have to take special measures." The other side warned viciously. After speaking, he gave a signal with his eyes towards the security personnel maintaining order at the scene. The security personnel understood his hint and immediately walked towards Lilian.

Sylvia and Elena saw this situation and quickly formed a human wall in front of Lilian. Sylvia pointed angrily at the other party and asked: "What do you want?"

Brent's face had turned pale long ago. He originally despised cooperating with such companies but was too anxious to whitewash Hillary that he didn't set up any defenses against Lilian.

An outdated model actually announced her comeback? Did Lilian really think that everything could start over from scratch once she left Brent?

Brent sneered inwardly but then grabbed Lilian by the arm and threw her aside saying: "Lilian, I know you hate me but what you're doing is not harming Hillary; it's harming yourself! You're just a model who breaks industry rules; even if you are high-minded no one will invite you again!"

"Is that so?" Lilian raised an eyebrow lightly without any warmth in her eyes anymore because all she felt for this man was disgust. "Maybe not!"

"No matter what you're doing this for, and I don't care how jealous you are of Hillary. Now that the runway event has been ruined, you go explain to the partner and pay the penalty. You can't let Rainer Entertainment take the blame for you." Brent accused Lilian coldly. "Also, regarding whitewashing Hillary's image, since you refuse to cooperate, I can only use our company to issue a public relations statement in your name. When it comes time to throw dirt on someone, it's best if you just endure it."

"Mr. Hart seems not to have understood what I just said. The meaning of my announcement is that I will abide by everything in my contract that should be followed and enjoy everything that should be enjoyed," Lilian's eyes were now icy without any warmth because she felt nothing but disgust towards this man.

"Mr. Hart doesn't need to worry; my lawyer will arrive this afternoon and settle with you one by one about all those things in our contract over these years which I was supposed to enjoy but never did."

Seeing Lilian like this shocked Brent deeply as he had never thought she would have such a side where she could make people speechless with her imposing manner.

No! She was just stimulated! Brent comforted himself inwardly thinking: How could a woman who had always been weak suddenly become so strong?

She was just trying to attract his attention! That's what Brent told himself: Lilian ah... why do you have to torture yourself like this? Why can't you let go?

Because of Lilian's sudden situation, chaos still reigned at the scene. The person responsible for the event became impatient when they saw no results from their discussion and walked up fiercely towards Lilian saying: "If you don't give us a satisfactory explanation today then don't even think about leaving through these doors!"

"Lilian, don't force us to take action."

The atmosphere suddenly became tense, but Brent watched everything coldly. He had no intention of helping Lilian because he wanted her to know that betraying oneself was not easy to bear. However, he never thought carefully about the fact that he was the one who betrayed first.

Sylvia nervously protected Lilian and watched as three security guards approached them. In the entertainment industry, many artists suffer various kinds of harm due to their low status. Sylvia hated herself for not being a man.

As they were trapped with nowhere to go and contemptuous looks from their opponents, there was a loud bang as the door of the lounge was kicked open by a man carrying a briefcase accompanied by three or four security guards.

"Who is in charge here?" The lawyer asked after scanning around.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" The representative of the cooperating party stepped forward in confusion.

"I am Century Studios' lawyer." The lawyer replied sternly and handed over a letter to the event organizer from his briefcase. "Last month's advertisement illegally used our company's artist photos which seriously infringed on Century Studios' interests. This is a legal letter; we have confidence that we will make you pay dearly." After speaking, the lawyer left elegantly but left behind his security guards inside - all for protecting Lilian.

The representative felt like they had just received an explosive bomb and couldn't help trembling because they never expected themselves to provoke Century Studios - an entertainment kingdom.

It wasn't uncommon for small companies to ride on big companies' popularity in this circle but nobody has ever seen Century Studios trouble any other company before.

Could it be because they were unlucky?

Lilian knew better than anyone else that Kevin found an opportunity to help her get revenge against those who wronged her.

Who wouldn't offend? But why did it have to be someone's beloved wife?

Sylvia smiled meaningfully at Elena's side. "You were so proud of your small company, but Kevin had already sent someone to lurk around for a long time and came just in time. It shows how much he cares about Lilian."

At this point, the cooperating party no longer cared about what Lilian said at the event because they knew that provoking Century Studios was equivalent to a dead end.

Brent was also frightened by the sudden turn of events and left immediately to avoid getting involved. Elena despised his cowardice.

"Lilian, let's go!" Since their goal had been achieved, Elena treated everything that happened as luck. She only knew that luck played an important role in this circle and Lilian was obviously favored by fate.

Announcing her comeback meant starting over again but Lilian firmly believed that as long as she had faith in herself, she could regain her status from three years ago or even surpass it.

The internet cheered for her; Lilian's name seemed to have come back to life with more mysterious colors than ever before.

Sylvia excitedly read comments from netizens aloud for Lilian while laughing brightly herself: "I can imagine Hillary must be fuming right now! She must be thinking that Lilian has made such a big mistake which is ruining her future!"

"And she can say many bad things about you in front of Brent too! Even demand punishment against you!"

Lilian turned around and asked Elena who was driving: "Is the content ready for exposure?"

"Of course! It will be very exciting." Elena replied confidently.
