Haula's POV:

"Mom," I answer as Theo's hands drops from my waist. "Are you okay?” Mom asks as she comes closer to the bed.

"I feel super good," I tell her. Honestly it’s like all the muscles in my body has been stretched out, I feel really fine, better than other days.

"I'm happy to hear that." She lets out a sigh. I feel really bad. All I've been doing is worrying about Theo I haven't see how stressed my Mom has been just because of me.

"Thank you," She turns to Theo.

"I'm happy to do it." Theo informs her as he looks at me and then back to my Mom.

"Can I have a word with her?" mom asks implying she wants to see me alone. We do have a lot to talk about.

"Of course, I'll be outside if you need me." Theo rubs my hand lightly as he leaves.

"Mom, I'm really sorry for causing you all these trouble, I know you never complained but I know how strong you've been for both I and nick and I appreciate it so much, not all mothers could stand these trials." I tell her.

I want to tell her more because she is the strongest woman I've known in my life managing work, kids and the trouble with them.

"You're my daughter Haula, if I don't do it for you who would I do it for? I'm happy you see my effort, come here." Mom says as she pulls me for a hug and I inhale all her motherly scent.

"I love you Mom." I speak.

"I love you too baby." Mom replies. "Now about Theo." She pulls away.

"Mom, I won't go against your wish if you don't want me to see him, but I want you to see all the things he's done, all the things he's risked just to come here. Mom I really love him and want to be with him, It would make me the happiest woman on earth if you gave your blessing, but if you think he's not good for me, I accept it." I tell her.

If my mom thinks Theo isn't right for me then, I have no choice but to let him go, I can't go against her wish no matter what.

Mom stays silent for a while not saying anything. "I give my blessing Haula, it's would be wicked not to." Mom finally says.

"Really? Oh my God, Thank you mom...what...how...wh..." I can'tspeak properly because of how happy I am.

"He's a good man Haula, and now I see it most importantly, what I saw today when you were unconscious, the way he talked to you, his eyes, it showed so much love that he held for you and I wouldn't want a better man than someone who would go to any length for my daughter." Mom says. I am overwhelmed, joyous as all my heart is filled with positive emotion.

"And I feel the same way. Thank you mommy," I hug her as she hugs me back.

"Sorry to disturb." Someone walks in. I look at him not knowing who he is as mom seems to see my expression.

"Haula this is Matt, he is the who took care of you," Mom explains.

"Hello Haula," The Matt guy says. He has brown hair with a well fitted med coat looking like a doctor.

"Hi Matt," I smile.

"Seems you're doing fine," He says. "I'm perfect." I smile again to him.

"That's good to know. I came to inform you that you'll have to stay here for today, while we examine you but tomorrow you're a free woman. Why this is so is because, the bacteria was really into your system so we need to watch you for today. We already checked your Mom and she seems clean." Matt explains.

"Okay then, but by tomorrow she'll be able to go home?" Mom asks. "Definitely." Matt replies.

"It’s fine. Thank you very much." I say to him before he leaves.

"Looks like you're going to spend the rest of the day here alone," Mom says. "Alone? I'm not alone you're going to be here with me," I refuse.

"You know I can't, nick will be all by himself and I can't leave him there." I totally forgot about him, how dumb.

"That's true, but you guys can stay here, it’s just for today." I tell her.

"Very tempting, but I wouldn't want to inconvenience them. looks like they have a lot going on and I don't want them to worry about a family on top of it all." Mom says.

"Okay, but you'll be here early tomorrow right?" I ask her.

"I can't make it early darling I have a shift early by 5:00 tomorrow, so I'll be here by 7:00 but don't worry I'll bring all the things you'll need for the day okay?" She assures me.

"I don't want you to go," I hold her like a baby.

"It’s just for today, you're okay now remember. You should be happy you get to spend time with Mr. soldier " she says which brings a smile to my lips.

Think about spending the night and half of tomorrow with Theo is very exciting. "So that's what we’re calling him now?" I tell her.

"No, that's what I'm calling him." Mom says as we laugh. "Okay then." I smile.

"I trust you to be an adult here and not take things overboard okay?" Mom rubs my hand.

"I wouldn't dare disappoint you and I told you already, I'm only for my husband." I tell her as we both giggle.

"So I'll inform Maggie about you cause I know she's dying to talk to you now, then bring the clothes over." Mom says getting up to leave.

"Thank you, tell her I miss her so much and I'm getting a lot of candy to myself here." I tell Mom.

"She's going to fly here if I do." Mom says as we both laugh. I love having moments like this with my mom and now that she's accepted Theo I feel like I'm flying.

"Definitely. So I'll see you later." I tell her.

"Are you trying to get rid of me?" She says acting like she's disappointed as she opens the door.

"I wouldn't dare," I whisper.

She goes out only to return back with none other than Theo.

"He was waiting outside," Mom says coming in with him making me blush. He really waited.

I look at him and give him the biggest smile I have never given anyone, as he smiles back.

"I want you to take care of her while I'm gone, okay?" Mom says speaking to Theo.

"I won't leave her side." Theo responds as Mom smiles before leaving. I jump out of the bed as I rum and jump on him which he catches me.

"Easy there, Mom said I should take care of you," He stares at me with a smirk across his face. I cup his face as I stare at him while his hands are all over my waist carrying my weight.

"She gave her blessing for us," I inform him as his smirk turns into happiness.

"Are you serious?" He ask as he carries us to the bed with my hand now wrapping his neck.

"Yes," He drops me on the bed as he sits beside me.

"Will you believe me if I told you this is the happiest day of my life?" He holds my hand.

"I would, cause it is mine too."I stare at him as he stare into my eyes boring his gaze into my soul.

"What?" I ask him.

"I just love you so much," Oh someone should shoot me right now and I'll know I died of super happiness.

I blush as my face starts to hurt so much that I have to laugh. He didn't care if I am laughing as he still stares at me noticing everything on me.

I stopped laughing as I look up at him feeling his intense gaze while his hand caress my arm as he pulls me closer to him, his neck bent slightly as he stares from my eyes to my lips and I do the same, till our lips collide.

The kiss slow as he takes his time in everything he does. His hand goes to my back as he touched every part of me. I didn't want him to stop so my hands travel into his hair as I rough it.

We pulled part for breath as our breathing fasten.

"I love you too." I said to him back making him smile.

"Do you mind if I spent the night with you?" He ask shyly. "No why would I?" I hit his arm playfully. "You're welcome."

We rearrange our sitting position as now lye on his chest as we lay there in a beautiful silence.

"I want to know more about you," I raise my head to look at him.

"Yeah of course. Everything you know about me is true,, just with the part that I'm a soldier." He sits well while he adjusts me also.

"I want to know all about the time you of being a soldier." I tell him.

"Okay. Well I'm a Captain leading alpha team, that's my team. I work for the U.S army, um...I don't know what to say hauls," He chuckles and I smile.

"It's okay, we'll get there." I tell him. "So you guys train right?"

"Yes of course. We wake up by 5:00 every day, go out for training till 6:30 and come back for breakfast till 7:30 and as Captain I lead the training." He adds.

"Wow, it's so early I can't do that, I'm too lazy," I pout. "No I don't think so." He pecks my lips.

"So Lisa is your boss?"

"Yes, she's a lieutenant while I'm a Captain, much gap." He tells me. "I like her, she's really nice and funny too." I add.

"And she can be very strict, just don't piss her off." He smirks. "Oh I know, she said she was going to kick your ass," I giggle.

"She told you that? Cause she already did." He tells me and I laugh. "Now you're laughing,"

"It’s so funny getting your ass kicked by her, I'd like to see it." I smirk. "You don't mean that?" He argues.

"Yes I do," I winked at him before captures me as he hands start to tickle my sides.

"Theo...pl....plea...stop please," I beg him but he wouldn't stop. He tackles me to the bed as he hovers over me.

"Do you still want to see my ass get kicked?"

"Yes," I yell as he stops for a minute but he continues again. "Theo, no...ple...please, no." I beg.

"No what?" He asks.

"I don't want to see your ass get kicked," I say and he stops. "That was fun." He smirks.

"You're evil," I hit him playfully as we chuckle while he only stares at me.

"Go out with me when I get back," He asks taking me off guard. Theo informed me he'll be leaving tomorrow but will be back a day after that, he says he has to go in for report which I totally understand, being a soldier sometimes comes with its disadvantages.

Here I was thinking I was going to spend half of the day with him tomorrow, but he'll be back and we'll get plenty of time to spend.

"Theo..."

"A date, with me please." This guy is going to be the death of me.

"You don't have to beg me, I would happily go out with you on a date," I touch his arm reassuring him.

He smiles and nod as he brings me to his arm to lay on it.

We stayed on the bed in silence just looking at the ceiling as my eyes started to become sleepy.

"Haula," He calls me after some time. "Yes," I answer.

"Do you ever imagine getting married to someone you love so much, having kids and living so happily?" His question takes me by surprise but I am too lazy to ask why.

"Yes I always dream of the day I get married to this guy I love after finishing university, having a beautiful marriage, then having five kids and living happily." I reply.

"I would really like to get married at the age of twenty-one, then I'll be done with med school and then I can start a family I guess." I add.

"That's good to hear. Don't you think five kids is a bit much?"He asks.

"What no way, I want to see them playing round the house, making me laugh every time I remember each one of them." I don't know why Theo is asking thisbut five kids isn't much. Is it?

"Okay then." He giggles. "Why do you ask?" I ask him.

"I just wanted to know you better and your thoughts about everything," He replies.

"Okay. I'm sleepy though," I snuggle closer to him his hands wrapping my body. "Goodnight babe." I hear him say before my eyes succumbed to sleep.
