Chapter 3.5: Within

The grandfather clock keeps on ticking, as long as she's here. I sat on my armchair, completely restless... Her memories are opening, maybe because I'm slowly waking her up often these days. It's upsetting to always see that Jacob guy with her, but clearly, she's the one she relies on and he makes her feel safe. Her father relies on that guy, her brother likes him too. It's frustrating to have these feelings. I may have affected her sleeping patterns because of this.

It's upsetting! This is... I hear her...

She's awake. The clocked stopped at 7pm. The clock always stops at the time when she wakes up. She walks to the bathroom...

Ah…

I need to go and rest now. She's awake, her privacy is needed.

A curse this might be, but being with her, is my long-life t'll the end of time gift. Before I fall asleep, I still see the light from the blinds, rays of the sun... made me warm and fall asleep.
