Chapter 3: Rest well

Jacob, Zina, and Zach ended up playing scrabble after a 3-hour intensive study session. It really looks like they're diligent students, but Zach can only be seen entering and leaving Zina's room to keep asking her sister and Jacob about Pre-calculus. While the "adults" in this case were just talking about their English subjects. So, what does it have to do with me now? 'The person within asking'.

Zina shuddered and wondered "Who might that be...?" she unintentionally muttered, followed by Jacob asking "Hmm? There's no one at the door, you, okay?". She slowly nodded and smiled as if something wasn't bothering her "I'm good just, -"a pillow was plopped in front of her "rest, you'll need it. I'll stay at Zach's room for a while, okay?". Jacob was always so considerate, good for him. "Yeah, thanks man", he walked out and before closing the door shut, "Call my name and I'll rush here if you need anything okay?". He closed the door and Zina was left alone.

"Am I really alone?" she asked herself.

No response.

No shuddering.

No clock.

Just... silence.

With a sigh, she laid down. Feeling her eyes began to feel droopy, heavy, the wind seemed to whisper "Rest well.". Her mind, immediately to dream land, well... REM. Her body was heavy, her mind conscious. She was really tired that she made herself sleep twice.

"Stella... sweetheart?" a voice she heard, from her husband, "Mmhm, go away, I'm trying to sleep". The woman swatted her husband's hand laying on her stomach, "Let me rest please?". Her husband chuckled, "You won't let me touch junior? Sweetheart?". Suddenly, she felt the ground shake, 'Earthquake?' was in her mind and she felt her man's touch "Zina, I'm sorry". Her brow arched, confused and sad.

Tic... Toc...

Tic... Toc...

"Are you coming to, my dear?" she heard the familiar voice, the husband of the woman, the woman who she dreamt she was. "I don't know what you mean..." she uttered. "I see..." she sat on the floor, trying to be comfortable while thinking about what happened "Are you... someone I know?" she asked out of nowhere, "I don't think it's time for me to answer that Zina...". , starting to become comfortable as she hears the grandfather clock, she laid down on the floor "Why am I always seeing you?".

A sigh was heard...

followed with...

Silence.

No clock.

Nothing.

She woke up, fully rejuvenated, she sat down and drank the water on her bedside table. "Why..." she asked as she touched her lips, she knows something, some person knows something, but...
