“Do you still want to go for a swim after breakfast?” I ask.

“Me too. After, we can maybe head out somewhere for lunch if you like?”
We don’t need to worry about hiding being together here. Even if I do see someone I know, they have no idea who Maya is. We don’t need to be on edge. We can relax and enjoy being together.
“Perfect.” She smiles, leaning over the table to kiss me softly.
“Yes.” I agree.
I am looking forward to our day together. I think it is what she needs after what has been going on. I can take her mind off it all for the next couple of days. I wish we could stay longer, but that won’t be possible.
