Chapter 183 - A MIRACLE SILVER WOLF

182. Tamia's POV

"Ah! Stop shouting.

I am taking you to the room where you can talk to Old Lady Clare.

I am on FaceTime with her and I have to let her tell you herself," Aurora said after jumping scared at her brother's voice.

He used his alpha voice at her, scaring her because, I guess, he was as scared as I was and wanted to know what was wrong with or at the Silvermoon Pack.

"Tamia, oh, my girl.

How are you?" Old Lady Clare asked me immediately as I appeared on the screen.

"We need you here.

We don't know who it is but we suspect the witches of the order of Tallula.

After we came back from the burial, we found that someone might have tried getting in but they didn't succeed.

So, today, we received a note.

They had said that they would kill all of us if we didn't surrender to them and all that but we didn't, obviously, listen to them.

We are fearful that they might come and we don't know what to do because we basically don't have a leader," Old Lady Clare said and as she spoke, I felt it.

Someone was trying to break the seal.

"Someone is trying to break the seal on the north eastern side.

Send troops there and I will be there as soon as I can.

Ask them not to do anything unless the barrier is broken which I doubt.

Also, ask the oracle to be ready just in case but I will be there soon," I said and she seemed relieved although there was worry in her face.

"Grandma Clare?" I called her before she could hang up.

"I will be there.

I won't let anything happen to anyone there.

I am sure that they are banking on the fact that I am busy with everything that has happened and I am far.

So, don't worry.

We will deal with it," I assured her and she smiled.

"Thanks my girl.

I know you will," she said and hung up.

I was torn.

I didn't want to leave my babies behind after what had happened.

I was afraid that someone might take them again and if another one left me I would die.

"What's on your mind?" Killian, who is always able to read my mind, asked.

I didn't want to lie to him because I knew that my worry was his.

"I don't want to leave the babies," I said truthfully.

"Tamia, Kira and I are here.

We can promise you that they will be our first priority.

And even the guards at the gates have been instructed not to let the babies outside the gate with anyone other than us four, you, Killian, Kira and I.

So, I can promise you that they will be okay.

Silvermoon needs you and the more you stay here, the more time you give those bitches," Aurora assured me.

I knew all that but I couldn't help but worry.

What if...

I looked at Killian and he held my shoulder.

"If you want, I can go with Kira and..."

"No!" Killian began and Aurora shouted.

She seemed to remember that she didn't mean to and seemed embarrassed.

"I will go.

We will go.

Aurora and Kira will take care of Midnight and call us if there is anything, no matter how small," I said and Aurora looked at me with gratitude.

I remembered what she had told me and what Killian had told me about how her mate died.

He died in battle and any time she thought of her mate going to another battle, she was bound to react the same way.

The Order of Tallula had been in existence for too long and I have been too quiet and that was why they thought they could take back Silvermoon.

I knew they were bitter after I took over and destroyed all their plans but I would have to die first for them to rule over Silvermoon again.

I heard that the new queen was as bad as Amelia was and they were relatives though I didn't care to know how they were related.

"How are you guys going to get there?" Aurora asked as we walked towards the master suite where I wanted to take a few things and a change of clothes for when we got there.

I also wanted to say goodbye to the children before we left.

"How about we run?

What did you think of how we hit here?" I asked Killian who smiled.

"It was magical.

I felt as if I was flying," he said and I agreed.

"I agree with you.

I have never tried it again and I feel like we would get there faster if we run than using a plane or a car," I added.

Within thirty minutes, we were done with everything and Aurora and Kira saw us off.

They were to tell the council of anyone asked or if anything came up.

Otherwise, they weren't supposed to say anything.

The fewer people knew we were not in, the better.

Now that Silvermoon was better and almost back to how it used to be, the witches thought that they could have a field day.

We didn't transform this time.

I just held Killian’s hand and I felt the power surge in me.

It was like I was igniting an engine without knowing how I was doing it.

I just thought of what I wanted to do and it happened.

We then started running and like a car, we accelerated as we ran.

Within a minute, we were moving at the speed of wind and I have never felt such exhilaration.

I wanted to keep running and I felt as if the only thing I lacked were wings.

We circled the sea and within twenty minutes, we were at Silvermoon.

I felt regretful that we arrived so quickly and if that would be the speed I would be moving at, then I didn’t even need to learn how to drive.

But maybe I will learn when I start taking the babies out or to school.

We didn’t go straight to the pack but we circled the forest and went to the side where the witches were trying to break the barrier.

I had made an invisible dome that was hiding us and they thus didn’t see us coming and I don’t think this new queen expected us to be there so quickly.

It was a group of a hundred or so witches.

They had been organized into groups of ten and they would concentrate their magic together and then hit the barrier in turns.

It wasn’t working because the barrier was still steady and standing and there was no crack but they were not giving up.

There was a young girl in the middle who seemed to be giving the orders and she seemed to be the queen.

The witches with her seemed to be older than she was and I wondered how she had surpassed them to be the queen.

“Concentrate your powers like we had practiced and hit just that one spot.

I don’t believe that we can’t break it.

Hit it harder!” She told them and they started hurling their concentrated powers on it.

Usually, in such a situation, I would have sneaked up on them but I didn’t want to.

I wanted to show them that the powers of light are more powerful than the powers of darkness.

I wouldn’t allow her to succeed where her elders had failed and I would do it in broad daylight.

She had made me run hundreds of kilometers to get here and I was ready to face all of them.

Due to the high speeds Killian and I were running at, the clothes we were wearing had been torn and we had to change to the ones we had carried.

We had already changed as we watched her and since I didn't want Killian to get hurt when they revealed that he wasn’t as strong as I was, I pushed him into the Silvermoon side and he fell inside the barrier.

He hadn’t realized what I wanted to do and he was taken by surprise.

I knew that if I had told him, he would have argued with me and I didn’t want to put him in harm’s way.

I apologized as he looked at me and closed the barrier.

He could see me and hear me but he could not get out.

The soldiers who were standing on the other side were surprised to see him appear out of nowhere and when they saw who it was, they bowed and seemed psyched up.

“It won’t crack if you keep hitting it like that,” I said to the witches all of a sudden as I appeared to them out of nowhere.

They were startled as they all turned to look at me and their leader walked towards me.

“Who are you and where have you come from?” She asked me and she seemed to be a haughty child who made decisions without thinking or without asking for advice.

This one didn’t even seem to like being advised.
