The door closed after that and the three of us walked together my arms linked in theirs as we went to the dining room where a full breakfast had been set out for everyone. Nico lead me to the chairs while Will began making my plate. It was kind of nice to be treated well by my mates, even seeing them get along made me very happy. Will set my plate down as Nice finished filling his and sitting to my left side leaving the right side for Will. Will came back with just as much if not a bit more then Nico setting two plates down in front of him. “Ah Will are you sure its a good idea to eat that heavy?” I asked a little concerned. “I'm a wolf babe, plus you seen me eat this much the last time we went out together. I'm okay. Remember big stomach,” he said rubbing his belly or what little tummy he had. “Bah! What belly? Nothing but washboard abs showing. Eat your food silly wolfman,” I said digging in. "Hey, it's good to eat well I haven't had a breakfast this big since we left Meemaw's house. This looks good to me, " Nico said digging in as well.
It was a comfortable silence for a while just the clinking of our silverware as we ate then Jace came in the door grabbing a muffin on his way to Will's side. “So she's the Witch's Original then? And Lysa is her mate? Is that even possible?” Jace asked skeptically. “I'm just as surprised as you, but she had the mark we know to look for on any Original's body. Its there we seen it. Is not common knowledge to know what the marks look like so don't expect me to tell you what it is. What's important is that we now have leverage over the witches. Did you find out where that vampire prince went?” Will said trying to keep the mood steady.
“That's just it. It was your fathers men who were guarding him, but they've all said they were knocked out and he escaped. I know I'm not supposed to be suspicious of your father, but I think he's been doing more then just your work,” Jace said concern all over his face. “Your not wrong and I plan to investigate everything I've heard. I just need you to trust me right now and help me with some small errands that will hopefully bring everything to light. Kenna is the key to taking the witches down and now that she is a part of the family, even she has to follow certain rules if she wants the privileges given to royals here. For now meet me in my office, and we'll get started on assignments for today,” Will said as Jace dismissed himself grabbing another muffin on the way out.
I had finished my plate feeling very full and a bit tired still so I turned to Will and said,“ I think I'm going to go lay down for a bit. I think the traveling and my over energy usage is catching up to me.” “Are you sure should I asked for your doc to stop by?” he said knowing I would only trust my doc to look at me. “No no I'm okay I just think I need to rest. Maybe I'll sunbath in my observatory. I have missed doing that and I'd like to check my plants as well. Its always helped me feel better before,” I said walking over then leaning down to give Will a kiss. “I'll go with her and keep an eye on her. No I won't be tackling her while she's tired. Come on man I may be an animal, but I still love her,” Nico said a little offend. “Hey you said it not me. Just make sure she takes it easy. Its been rough for her, “ Will said to us as he got up to head to his office kissing my cheek on his way out. I could stare at that ass all day if i wanted to, but my fatigue was starting to get the better of me. Nico helped me up from my chair then tucked my arm in his helping me steady myself as we walked.
Walking with Nico back to my rooms I felt my energy draining faster for some reason as my vision began to blur, then I felt myself starting to fall, but Nico caught me before I could hit the ground. Lifting me into his arms he sets me on my bed checking me over for injuries. “Kai! Kai! Hey wake up! Sh*t!” Nico said my consciousness going in and out. I could hear in my head Nico call for Will saying, “Hey man she fainted on the way to her room. Her energy started dropping really fast for some reason you need to hurry! Call her doctor now!” I tried to stay awake, but my mind fogged over more as I fell into my subconscious fast. “Kai! Kai! NO!!!!”

I still felt like I was floating in the sea of my subconsciousness, but three shining lights were floating around me dancing and playing. They moved around my head in and out of my hair as I asked, "Who are you? Should I be worried?" One moved right up to my face hovering in my hand, its glow so happy and warm, whispering softly to me in a beautiful voice, "We'll see you soon mama."
