Chapter 70 - The End

*****5 Years Later*****

*****Axel's POV*****

"On this day we always honour a brave man... a man who defeated the main source of evil that was once in this world... a man who fought as hard as he could to find his lost son... a man who helped save thousands of our children... he was a brave father, a powerful being and most importantly a kind soul! Draco Hawkings... you will always be in the hearts of our people and we will continue to honour you every year on this date!"

I conclude the remembrance speech as everyone hoists their glasses high and cheers for Draco.

"Daddy!" I turn to hear a squeal, as the pack begin to dig in to their feast around us.

"Yes my princess?" I laugh, pulling the tiny being up onto my knee.

"Is Draco the man who turned the cables into snakes... hissss..." Milly asks, as she begins to hiss like a snake and moves her hands together like one.

"Yes it was." I laugh at her, as she giggles and stares up at me with her large green eyes just like my own.

"Where is your brother?" I raise an eyebrow, as she shrugs and shifts her eyes down guiltily.

"Uh oh... has someone done something to upset Mummy again?" I question, biting my cheek to avoid laughing at the three year old sulking on my knee.

On that note, the door to my left opens, revealing the woman in question as she carries a very distressed and upset looking Marco...

"I knew you ran away to find Daddy! Did you tell him what you done?" Dani pops a hip out sassily, as Molly stares up at her and glares.

"Don't you glare at me like that young lady or you won't be seeing Olive for a play date tomorrow!" Dani threatens, as the rest of the pack continue on and don't notice our family drama.

"Daddy said I can still go!" She argues, causing my eyes to widen.

"Oh did he now!" Dani retaliates, throwing a glare at me this time as I hold my hands up in defence.

"I said no such thing!" I hold back a laugh, as I glance at Marco who holds the same dark eyes as Dani.

"Now tell me what you did to Marco?" I question Milly, curious as to why her twin brother was upset for the second time today.

"He... I... it was his fault!" She huffs, as Dani shakes her head.

"Well Daddy, Milly thought it would be a good idea to draw all over Marcos bedroom walls and furniture with pink and red pens... not to mention that she also drew all over his face when he was asleep so that is why his cheeks are stained pink." Dani raises her eyebrows at the guilty looking Milly before she covers her face with her hands.

"I think you have something to say to your brother Milly." I add, as she seems to think for a moment before sighing.

"Sorry..." She looks up at her twin innocently before Marco folds his arms and turns away from her gruffly.

It was safe to say they both had my temper and stubbornness...

For being only three years old and considering that they had both been together since birth you would think they would love playing together... but not these two...

Marco always wanted to play with Grey and Belles son Finn who was a year older than him... they seemed to be best friends already and loved anything that was rough and tumble.

Milly on the other hand, liked playing with Nolan and Lily's daughter Cadence who was also three. They enjoyed dolls (when they kept the heads on them) and liked going to their swimming lessons every week.

Milly and Marco were comical, but I could already tell they would have the same twin bond as Nolan and Belle... who surprisingly get along way better than they did before since Nolan managed to get over the fact that Grey was obsessed with his sister.

Since Cassios death, life for the first time actually felt right. My Mom and Dad struggled slightly with the realisation that their son was dead... although they both knew after a certain point that it had to be done... but nobody could bring Cassio back from the darkness it was just too late.

When Dani fell pregnant they were over the moon though and it sort of helped take the pain off by having grandkids in the family... not to mention my little sister Tori and my niece Viv who had been the best role models for them so far (not).

Those two have trouble written all over them just like our twins.

It was nice having more kids around, it meant more laughter and more reasons to work harder to ensure this place was generally better.

I had almost cleaned up the whole of Revnok since Cassios death, all but one town which wanted to be stubborn and kept relocating to set up their illegal shit. But it was truly nothing we couldn't cope with and it was expected.

The place was overall safer and the humans were more valued here now...

I had even put a new act in place that employed the demons to help find the humans that were in need and offer to bring them here for a fresh start if they truly needed it - only in the worst kind of situations that were inescapable. Lupin had been placed in charge of this, and although he would deny it, I knew he liked the job deep down.

To top things off, Dani no longer had to worry about her burden of a father… if we could call him that… since within hours of my return I had him tortured and killed.

I didn’t tell her the details but I could sense her relief when I confirmed that he was dead.

He was a monster. There wasn’t much more to say about that man…

But I think Dani changed me for the best… as a matter of fact… changed us all for the best and thanks to her, the Alpha King and Revnok will forever be strong once again!
