Chapter 63

*****Axel's POV*****

"Shh! Wait!" Ivanna hushes us, as we all halt at the base of the mountain...

"A spell has been placed here... take my hands!" Ivanna rushes out, as we do what she says and link up suddenly.

She closes her eyes, beginning to mumble incoherent words as we wait. We pause and scan the surroundings for any sign of threat in the meantime - finding it eerily quiet.

She eventually lets go, opening her eyes and blinking a few times...

"We can't walk up the main path because they have cameras and a spell put in place that will weaken you all... I also detected that in total there is six men up there... the bad news Axel though is that I can't detect Dani at all... maybe it's because she's a human or... I don't know..." Ivanna fidgets with her hands, seeming defeated.

"I have it under control Ivanna don't worry... can you find us a better way in?" I question, as she sighs before peering up.

"Maybe... I could make us our very own entrance?" She offers smugly, as Nolan tilts his head looking like a deer caught in headlights!

"Nah fuck this! Let's go in the normal way, we will just fight our way in!" Nolan, taking his usual attack solution, offers his idea - earning a shove from Grey.

"Just shut up!" Grey groans, as Nolan shoves him back mumbling under his breath.

"What was that?!" Grey suddenly grits out, catching the end of what Nolan had said...

In the meantime, Ivanna gets out her spell book and begins to flick over the many pages. I take this time to observe their pathetic argument...

"I said... I have a fucking mate to get back to!" Nolan repeats his statement, earning a scoff from the both of us this time!

"My mate has been fucking stolen from me by my own sick evil brother! Count yourself lucky that you even have a mate waiting for you at home!" I argue, not liking his petty ass comment.

"Just because I don't have a fucking mate doesn't mean I don't have a girl to go back to either you know! If you opened your eyes you would notice what's been going on right in front of you!" Grey rages, as my eyes widen from what he was getting himself into...

"Oh yeah? You have a girl to go back to since when? As far as I know Grey, you have every fucking girl to go back home to! The worlds your oyster now right?! Maybe instead of fucking random bitches you should find someone to settle down with like us!" Nolan continues, as I decide to bite my tongue this time and let Grey handle it...

I knew tensions were high... but this was just ridiculous! I get the whole becoming moody and aggressive being away from a new mate... but it only pissed me off since my mate was quite literally in a life or death situation whilst his waited for him at safety!

"You're so fucking dumb do you know that? You're that dumb that you can't even see that I'm fucking around with your own sister! How do you like that Nolan? Your sister is the one waiting for me to come home and fuck her!" Grey goes the whole mile, stepping closer to Nolan with each word - showing the deep fury behind his eyes.

I look at Nolan, whose face seems to quite literally boil with rage, as his mouth opens and closes like a fish out of water - searching for the truth in what Grey was telling him.

"You son of a bitch! Her fucking mate won't want her now because you've ruined her! Just because your mate didn't want you doesn't mean you take that right away from my own fucking sister!" Nolan shoves him incredibly hard, sending Grey back about four steps before he steadies himself.

I glance at Ivanna, whose doing something with her hands - her eyes closed and in focus. I couldn't quite understand how she could work under these conditions but she was managing well...

"Your sister is mine!" Grey retaliates with a shove, becoming possessive over his new found feelings for Belle.

"I can't fucking believe you! I'm going to kick your fucking teeth down your throat!" Nolan roars, as I decide this is the time to step in and split them up.

"THAT IS ENOUGH! The both of you! That's fucking enough!" I rage sternly in my Alpha tone holding them apart, suddenly earning a loud hush from Ivanna.

Seriously? She hushes me when these two have been arguing for ten damn minutes!

"We have a way in... it's quicker too!" Ivanna informs us, putting her book away before leading us around the mountain.

I decide to drag the both of them with me as we follow her, staying between them as they both breathe heavily and throw glares at one another every couple of seconds.

So damn childish!

"This isn't the time! Sort this petty shit out when you both get out of here or I'll rip the both of you apart myself!" I grit out, glaring at both of them before shoving them to walk on their own.

They remain silent, as we approach an entrance that Ivanna steps into first - followed by the rest of us.

We notice some makeshift steps, as we begin to trudge up them, using our phones for light.

"When we get to the top, we will be inside so we must stay quiet! I have checked for more spells but so far there seems to be none!" Ivanna whispers back to us as we continue to follow her up.

My father had tried to contact me twice today, but I just didn't have the time to respond yet. However, he knew about our plans and had offered his support which I declined all for good reason. If I were to die today, he was the only hope of keeping the kingdom strong and out of Cassio's hands.

We continued on, as I attempted again to mind-link Dani - earning no response which made my heart beat quicken. My plan better fucking work!

"Ok it's in here... pull this rock back!" Ivanna whispers, gesturing for us to remove a large stone blocking some sort of entrance.

We all help roll the stone out of the way as quietly as possible, before we enter what seems to be a large cave like dungeon.

We all take a moment to look around, seeing that the cell door was left wide open - probably from them removing the children earlier. Their scents remained strong in here, meaning there was no doubt a lot of them.

"I will stay hidden here... if I am out of sight then I can help you more with my spells but if they catch me... we all know what will happen then!" Ivanna states, grabbing my hand and giving it a small reassuring squeeze.

"Are you sure you'll be alright here?" I reply, as she nods confidently.

"You'll do the right thing! I trust you!" Ivanna tells me, before hugging me briefly - which I return - before she moves to a dark area in the cave to remain hidden.

"Are you two dumb fucks calm now?" I turn to Grey and Nolan, earning an eye roll and a nod from them both.

"Good then lets end this shit once and for all!" I state, as they both nod briefly before we exit the cold cave, moving our way up the hallways silently...
