Chapter 113 I love me too
Chapter 113: I Love Me Too
“Gigi I'm sorry. I really am. I messed up big time. Please can we talk about it?
I'm parked outside the Estate, can we please talk?”
“I'm out right now. Would be home in 20 minutes.” Golden ended the call and drove towards home.
She had thought she would feel a certain way when she saw Allan's call, she did feel a certain way.
She however was willing to talk about it and get past it. Her finals were in a few days and she didn't want anything bothering her as she prepared.
Golden got to the Estate in exactly 20 minutes. She saw Allan's bike parked opposite the Estate gate.
He was leaning on the bike and smoking. His dreads were packed in a man bun and he was wearing a black hoodie.
He gave off a dangerous, bad boy vibe.
He threw his cigarette to the ground and stomped it out when he noticed Golden drive towards him.
She parked her car just behind his bike and got out. She leaned on the car and looked directly at him.
“I'm here now Allan. What do you want?” She asked a little cold.
“Look Gigi, I know that I am begining to sound like a broken record, but sincerely I am sorry.
The thing that happened with Lindsay was a mistake. I promise it didn't mean anything.
She came for a tattoo at the shop and she didn't come with her car. It was really late so I offered to drop her off at school.
By the time we got to the school, I helped her down from my bike because she had sprained her ankle and that's when she kissed me.
She initiated the kiss, I didn't.” Allan tried explaining everything that happened.
Golden listened to him speak. It sounded like an honest mistake but she didn't hear him take accountability for anything.
She had heard the conversation at the tattoo parlor. She had seen the pictures and video at the diner.
He didn't say anything about all that maybe because he didn't think it was necessary.
What he failed to understand was that the kiss didn't just happen, many things led up to that moment and the kiss was just the crescendo to a well played opera.
“She initiated the kiss and what did you do? You didn't end it. You didn't push her away. You actually kissed her back until Trey interrupted you.
At least that was what Lindsay said.” Golden wasn't going to let Allan brush it off that easily.
“I asked you once, and I will ask you again. Allan do you like Lindsay?”
“That is not important Gigi. I like you. It is you that I like. And every day my feelings for you get deeper.” Allan said wholeheartedly.
His feelings for Golden were actually getting deeper. He couldn't say he loved her just yet, but he knew he would get there in time.
Golden smiled. Allan had done it again. She should be happy that his feelings for her was getting stronger.
She saw the sincerity in his eyes when he said it and she knew he was speaking the truth.
But then again, there was still Lindsay. He had failed to address what he felt for her.
He might have grown deeper feelings for her, but what about his feelings for Lindsay?
Golden decided not to push further. People were different after all and expressed themselves differently.
“Is that all that happened Allan?” Golden asked.
“I swear that's all that happened. Look Gigi, Lindsay, Trey and I have been friends for about 5 years.
Lindsay is like a sister to me. She's Trey's girl and has been for the longest time.
I promise, this is a one time mistake and it would never happen again.” Trey apologized again.
He left out the part that Lindsay and Trey had already broken up. He feared that if Golden knew, she might think he meant to kiss Lindsay or that something was going on between them.
Golden raised her eyebrow at “she's like a sister to me”. Why did guys always use that line when it was obvious they had some sort of feelings for a girl?
Would a brother kiss a sister back or let people misunderstand his relationship with “his sister?”
“I will forgive you this once Allan but just this once. I told you, if you find someone you like or are in love with, let me know.
Don't string me along and toy with my heart. There's so much I can take before I finally give up on us.
I love you, I have never hidden it from you. But Allan, I love me too. And I will not let my love for you hurt me, I will rather give it up.” Golden said looking into Allan's eyes.
Allan immediately grabbed Golden in a tight hug. He breathed in her rosewood scent and tried to calm his racing heart.
He thought he had lost her. He was afraid of losing her and held her tight like he was holding on to his lifeline.
Golden had come to become his safe haven. He didn't know when it started, but he wasn't ready to lose it.
“I wouldn't hurt you again baby. Thank you for forgiving me.” Allan gently broke the hug.
He lifted her chin and kissed her. He was gentle and slow at first but became greedy when he realized he could have lost her.
He soon tasted her tears. Golden was crying. And her tears burned his lips.
He slowly kissed her tears away. He deepened the kiss again and then began to kiss her eyes.
“Why are you crying baby?” He asked in-between kisses. “Please stop crying. I promise not to hurt you again.”
“Please Allan, I have given you my heart. Don't let it bleed again.
If you can't love me, please let me go. I promise I wouldn't hold it against you.
I don't regret loving you. I love being in love with you, but if you can't love me back, I wouldn't hold it against you.
Just don't hurt me please.” Golden quietly spoke her heart out. Then she took charge and kissed Allan.
She poured her all into the kiss. She said with her kiss what she had said with her words.
