Chapter 24.5 Now I Realized

When they arrived at the next cage, Elesa first checked if her suspicion of the next pair was correct and she was not mistaken.

"Okay Edmondo," Elesa said and looked at him. "You're up next."

"What?" Edmondo was shocked. "What do you mean I'm up next?"

"Just destroy that box right beside Jessy and Turuki's cage," Elesa casually stated as she pointed it out.

Edmondo looked up immediately, especially when he heard Elesa's last words and immediately looked inside the cage and there was no word that he approached in front of it. Elesa was just looking at Edmondo, waiting to move… but like Eaux, he was also stunned so Elesa sighed and approached him.

This time, Elesa would have spoken but,

"Is what is happening between them also the same case as what happened when I was trapped with Donna?" Edmondo asked suddenly.

Elesa immediately looked at the two air royals who were imprisoned.

"Yes," she replied.

Edmondo paused. "So, who do you think is the guy she is looking at right now?"

“I don't know. Why won't you ask her yourself after you free her from this cage?” Elesa replied.

Edmondo smiled weakly. "How can I when she smiles like that even though she's just dreaming?"

"Oh so you'll let her be happy with the guy she's dreaming of right now?"

Edmondo was speechless.

"Isn't Jessy the girl of your dreams?" Elesa asked and she started to get annoyed. “What’s with you guys nowadays? You're just content to see your girl smiling for another guy without even trying to fight your own feelings and find a way to prove to her that you can make her smile like that too. You are the worst Edmondo but yeah, let's not just ruin this moment because you don't even deserve Jessy because a guy like you—“

SMASH!

Elesa was stopped when a large chunk of rock broke the controller. The cage door just opened and the two inside fainted. Although Elesa was surprised at first, she let out a sigh because her plan to irritate Edmondo worked. She was about to enter the cage,

Shatter!

But she was stopped when the glass of the cage broke. She even looked at the stone next to her that was used to break the glass. Elesa gulped in no time because she seemed to have a hunch after seeing that.

"You really want me to kill Turuki that badly?"

When Edmondo just said that in his deep and dark voice, Elesa stiffened in her place. Only now can she say that this is the first time she has seen the earth prince angry like this. She had a wrong plan earlier.

Elesa thought she was over when,

"Edmondo," said a voice that caught their attention as the princess ran towards him and without a word she hugged him which surprised him.

"I'm so glad to see you," Jessy said while hugging him.

Edmondo was speechless while Jessy broke away from the hug while smiling but the shock still etched on Edmondo's face.

"Why are you shocked?" Jessy asked with a smile. "Aren't you used to my usual self?"

And those questions made Edmondo smile in no time.

"Maybe I won't because it always surprises me," Edmondo replied. “Guess I missed you that much.”

Jessy was thrilled and obviously blushed at what he said. Here Elesa really breathed a sigh of relief because it was really good and his princess was there, if not, she may be one with the broken glass as well. Lesson learned: Edmondo is one of those princes you should not get angry with. He has a lot of patience but everyone has a limit.

Elesa just entered the cage to approach the air prince.

"Are you okay?" Elesa asked but the prince just looked back at her with a blank face… and there Elesa remembered that who she is talking to now was the cold Turuki.

“Right. You're fine,” Elesa answered her own question.

Turuki got up from his place, dust off his pants and without a word walked away. They are moving on to the next and the cold air prince is ahead of them even though he doesn’t know where to go.

"Hay, there's his cold heartedness again," Jessy said suddenly standing next to Elesa who surprised her. "I'm sure he's still confused about what's happening now but he just doesn't want to ask. Fortunately I understood Eaux's explanation so I know what will happen later. He is still frustrated but when he sees the next cage, he will destroy the controller in no time.”

Elesa didn’t speak back but inside her, she doubts that will happen.

When they get to the cage, Elesa must stop Turuki first but he goes to the cage without knowing what he will see.

"Turuki wait," Jessy said and approached him but he just stopped when he saw what’s inside the cage he’s standing in front of, dumbfounded.

Jessy and Elesa didn’t know his reaction so Elesa came over to look. He must be shocked… but from what she sees now, he's still wearing that blank face. Nothing has changed so Elesa was not surprised that he reacted like that.

"So, are you just gonna stand there and watch?" Jessy asked the prince. "In case you didn't know, based on their explanation, you need to destroy that box…" Jessy pointed out at the same time. “…to free the two.”

Turuki didn't say a word and Jessy knew that but they hoped he would have reacted. Over time, Jessy's patience also waned.

"Don't just stand there and do nothing," Jessy said angrily. "Save Kyrie and the nature prince now—"

“I don't care.”

Jessy stopped because at last, he spoke but only that,

"What did you just say?" Jessy asked.

"Who cares about these two?" Turuki coldly said. “Let's just move on to the next and leave them behind. It's just a waste of time.”

Jessy could not believe what she heard.

"Turuki—"

"Yeah let's just do that," Elesa interjected and started walking away. “Who cares about saving Kyrie and Feesy anyways.”

Jessy was still shocked and because of her anger, she tried to destroy the controller herself but even so, it did nothing.

"Argh, that's it!" Jessy angrily said to stop them. "I don't know what Kyrie sees in you, you cold hearted air prince for being like that!" while Jessy was still pointing at him. “Despite her being my rival, she's one of my most valued friend and I can't help to see her hurting being with someone as stupid as you! How I wish Kyrie would have never met you!” and she stormed away to go walk with the others in the hallway leaving Turuki there in front of the cage.

They took how many steps forward already when they heard a controller break. They stopped because of that and Elesa let out a sigh.

"Hay, at last—"

"Turuki stop!" one of the princes shouted so everyone ran to find out what was happening.

Turuki lifted the unconscious nature prince in the air by holding the collar of his jacket and he was ready to hurt him but Zoltar's speed was fast enough to stop him and lock him up in his arms. Some of the princes tend to the unconscious Feesy but Turuki is trying hard to struggle from Zoltar's arms while crying in anger. Almost all the princesses are shocked by what they see, especially Jessy because even though she is the air princess, she has never seen Turuki in such a state. He's hurting and he looks like a wild animal lost in his cage.

"Turuki," said a voice, so they were not only surprised but it also calmed the crazy air prince and looked at the person who called him.

Kyrie slowly stood up at her place and instead of wandering around her, she only looked directly at Turuki and instead of grief that was etched on her face, she looked at him confused.

"Why are you crying?" she asked.

He managed to calm down so Zoltar released him.

"I'm not," Turuki denied and looked away from her to wipe his tears.

Kyrie just let out a sigh and approached Turuki at the same time with her hand, she wiped the tears from his face which surprised and stopped Turuki. But Kyrie is giving back a serious look at him.

"How many times do I have to tell you to stop denying and bottling up your emotions?" Kyrie's sermon to him but she just said that gently. "You never know when you will blow up and you might let it out at a bad time so if you're sad or you're angry at me…"

Kyrie stepped back a few inches and opened her arms like she was asking for something and smiled confidently. “Come at me and let it all out on me. You don't have to worry about me because I can take whatever you got.”

Turuki was shocked to hear that as well as the other spectators and others thought that Turuki would do nothing because they knew he would not hurt Kyrie… but when he ran closer to Kyrie, some started to panic and Kyrie even closed her eyes but…

Rather than feel pain… Kyrie was shocked when she realized what was done to her. He hugged her… so tight…

“I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for being cold,” Turuki sincerely said. “I just don't know what to do when you let go. Please don't let go anymore.”

It took a while to process those words but Kyrie just let out a sigh.

"You always got me, Lamukun," and Kyrie returned the hug.

Elesa also let out a sigh because of the scene.

"Wow, that's so sweet," said Feesy, not a hint of sarcasm in his voice. “I wish I could have a kind of moment like that too. By the way,” Feesy looked at the electric princess next to him. “Where is Flare? Why am I trapped in a cage in the first place? ”

Elesa did not react and spoke to answer him and they immediately went straight to the next cage. One prince explained everything to Feesy and when they arrived at the cage, there was no word that he immediately broke the controller.

'Good for him he’s not that dramatic', Elesa said to herself but when the two fainted inside the cage,

"So…" Feesy said and faced them and everyone was shocked by the look on Feesy's face.

"…is this the part where I can kill Fuego?" he smiled, evilly.

They cannot speak when they see him like that.

"Ugh, what happened?" Flare said so she got everyone's attention, especially Feesy.

"Flare," Feesy said worriedly as he approached her. "Are you okay?"

Flare looked at him first, but suddenly looked away and blushed a little… like she’s pretending she’s not flattered.

"I'm fine," she pouted. “Thanks for the concern.”

Feesy was slightly surprised by his reaction but he smiled happily. "That's great."

“Ho-how about you?” Flare stammered. "A-are you okay?"

Feesy's happy smile still lingered. "I'm always okay Flare as long as you are too."

Flare was slightly surprised by Feesy's answer and she blushed even more so she was irritated because of how she was feeling but she also couldn't stop herself from changing the expression on her face.

"I'm actually happy… to hear that," she smiled.

Feesy was so surprised by what Flare did so he got up immediately and turned his back on Flare just to hide his face, and blushed as well.

“A-anyways…” he stuttered. "Let's just go and leave Fuego behind," and he continued to walk away while the others were watching him go with a look in their faces.

As they walked onto the next cage, they explained everything to the two fire royals and especially to Fuego what he should do and knowing him, Elesa knew how this man would react when he saw the two inside the cage.

But she was surprised because he was not like Zoltar, Aes and Feesy who really vented their anger on the controller, but he also just stood in front of the cage like Eaux, Edmondo and Turuki watching what was going on inside. Elesa let out a sigh and approached the prince.

"So let me guess…" said Elesa. "…you don't want to destroy the cage because Callie is happy in there?"

"Happy?" Fuego replied. “Look at them.”

And because of that, Elesa looked inside and was surprised. Although they do look a little sweet but not obvious because they are just looking at each other, the typical conversation when these two ice royals do meet.

“I know these two more than anyone and I know to myself that these two don't even know how to flirt with each other.”

Elesa just fell silent and can't help but agree with his reason and Elesa couldn't believe it because sometimes this man really thinks because when he gets angry, he also loses his common sense.

"Then just break the controller to release them," Elesa ordered.

Fuego looked at the box next to it and with all he got, he broke the box… but no matter how many times he attacked it, nothing happened.

"Damn this stupid controller you say!" irritated Fuego said. “I'm already drained here yet it won't even budge.”

Elesa knows that, that's why she makes almost all the princes angry. She began to think of ways to provoke this prince. He gets angry quickly but what will really make him tick?

She looked back inside the cage and her eyes landed on Callie, and suddenly, an idea came to her mind.

"If I remember clearly Fuego but isn't it that Callie's smile is what made you fall for her?" Elesa asked that startled Fuego.

"What about it?" Fuego said.

"Well I don't know but don't you miss those smiles of hers since now that you two are separated?"

Fuego didn’t speak.

“But who cares right? Based on my observation, Callie always wears her poker face all the time whenever she's with you just these past few days so that means you two are not really made for each other. Heck you even have that 'other side' that she is scared the most so I don't really understand how come you two are always together. Wouldn't it be better if Callie would be with another guy that is not like… you—“

"Shut Up!" Fuego shouted as he spewed fire that destroyed the controller.

Elesa was successful but Fuego confronted her angrily.

"You better shut that f*ckin mouth of yours if you don't want to be burned alive lady!" Fuego promised angrily. “You don't have the right to say those words to me. Don't ever question my love for Callie because this guy,” while pointing to himself. “…this guy that has this 'other side' will do anything to remove and erase it just to be with her. We may have broken up for now but I will never give up because this is just another obstacle that is blocking my love for her. I love the ice princess and that is Callie. Deal with it!”

Elesa just gave back a look.

"Fuego," called a voice so the two turned to the speaker and at the same time, Fuego was surprised to see who it was.

Callie, who is sitting on the floor, is looking at them with a serious look on her face. Fuego was speechless and suddenly nervous about how she would react after hearing that.

Suddenly, Callie confidently smiled at him. "I won't give up too," she said.

Fuego blushed so hard to see and hear that but to restrain himself because that was one of the reasons why his 'other side' woke up, he turned around and hid. Callie didn't mind that because she understood it very well.

When Jethro woke up and explained to the two of them what was happening, while walking, Elesa was already thinking that he knew Yani was the next place they were going to but could he have someone in the cage that Jethro would be jealous of? If so, who?

When they arrived, of course Elesa was the first to see the cage to point out where the controller was, but she stopped at her place when she saw what was going on inside.

"Okay Jethro, just like what Elesa said…" Eaux instructed. "…focus your anger on destroying the box that she will point at—"

"I think we don't need Jethro to do that," Zoltar added, so the two stopped and looked at what was happening.

They know that the real aim of the cage is to provoke Jethro for Yani being with Pearce but why is Elesa the one taking action? Why is she angry and the one ruining the controller?

"Yani," Jehro ran towards the unconscious princess.

Why is it…

Elesa looked at the unconscious guy on the floor.

…why when she saw Pearce just smiling in front of Yani, it triggered her to make a move and be… jealous?

Not long enough when Pearce got back to his senses, dizzy so he grabbed his head. He first saw Jethro who was tending to Yani but when his name was also called, he looked at the person who called him.

"Are you okay?" Elesa asked.

He was shocked to see her and didn’t answer but in that silence, he tried to remember things that had happened before.

When he realized what happened, after he was trapped in the cage with Yani, his eyes opened wide in no time and glanced at the woman who asked him before he looked away.

"I'm fine," Pearce replied, dusting off his clothes and walking away.

He tried his best to sound cold hearted but he could not hide how embarrassed he was because he could not believe that the woman he dreamed of was… her. He knows how the cage works because that black man with blue eyes explained it to him—

"Well, well, well."

Everyone was surprised when a voice entered the scene so they looked at that person.

"Sorry to ruin your reunion everyone but I was supposed to butt in the moment the two electric royals escaped from their cages but I was so amused watching you all get angry and have your way out of the cages but now that is over…" he paused.

Almost all the princes and princesses are amazed at his presence, except for the two…

"Oh where are my manners," he continued. “Why do I keep forgetting to introduce myself whenever I do show up in front of people?”

Snap! With just a flick of his fingers, everyone was shocked that they were teleported inside a room… and by looking around it, they realized they were inside a… judicial court.
